Kate Middleton: PREGNANT With Second Child, Palace Confirms!!

Kate Middleton is pregnant again, and no, it’s not just a tabloid rumor this time. The beloved Duchess of Cambridge is officially expecting her second child with Price William, a Kensington Palace statement confirmed early Monday: Prince George: A Young Life in Photos 1. Prince George and Parents Prince George, now one year old, is fascinated by butterflies in this adorable new photo released by the royal family. Parents Kate and William look on proudly. “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child.” “The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.” This will be the second child for Prince William and Kate Middleton , both 32, who became parents for the first time when Prince George was born in London July 22, 2013. As with George, Kate is currently suffering with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a very acute morning sickness, which hospitalized her early in her first pregnancy. This time, however, the beautiful royal is being treated at home. “As with her first pregnancy, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum,” said the statement, confirming her condition and public absence. “Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke on their planned engagement in Oxford today. The couple’s controversial move to Norfolk , away from London, was seen as a possible sign that the two were trying to conceive, if they hadn’t already. Looks like they got it done in short order – sooner than we expected, to be sure – and that George will be a big brother next spring before he even turns two! Paul George Breaks Leg in Team USA Basketball Scrimmage, Undergoes Surgery [VIDEO]

Paul George of the Indiana Pacers broke his leg in a USA Basketball scrimmage Friday night, likely sidelining him for all of next season if not his career. The 24-year-old star was pursuing James Harden in transition defense, then landed awkwardly against the stanchion supporting the rim and backboard.  He stayed down, and a replay on ESPN clearly showed his leg fracturing (the video, obviously, is graphic in nature and may not be suitable for all): Paul George Breaks Leg The Indianapolis Star says George suffered a compound fracture of his right leg. After George was taken off the court in a stretcher to a standing ovation, Team USA Coach Mike Krzyzewski led the players to mid-court in unison. He informed the crowd they were calling off the remainder of the scrimmage, while George was taken to the Hospital for Special Surgery in Las Vegas. George tweeted before going into surgery last night, “Thanks everybody for the love and support… I’ll be ok and be back better than ever!!! Love y’all!!” Early reports indicate the surgery went well, and that George, who averaged 21.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists last season, may play again. He is still likely out for the entirety of the 2014-15 NBA season, however. Paul George Highlights The NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, released the following statement: “It was difficult to watch the injury that Paul George sustained tonight while representing his country. The thoughts and prayers of all of us at the NBA are with Paul and his family.” Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird said last night: “We are aware of the injury sustained by Paul George in Friday’s Team USA game … and we are obviously greatly concerned. At this time our thoughts and prayers are with Paul.” As are ours, as we wish the baller a speedy return to the court.

Duck Dynasty to Be Canceled Amid Declining Ratings?

Duck Dynasty, once a cable powerhouse, has been bleeding viewers for the past few seasons, to the point where some say it may even get the axe. The catalyst was the controversy involving Phil Robertson , the show’s patriarch who infamously disparaged homosexuals in a 2013 GQ interview. That alone hasn’t led to a decline of nearly two-thirds from the show’s peak audience of 12 million viewers, however. Experts say it’s just the life cycle of reality TV. Duck Dynasty Stars Without Beards! 1. Jase Robertson: No Beard! Jase Robertson of Duck Dynasty with no beard. That was a long time ago. With Jase is his wife Missy. Jeffrey McCall, a media studies professor at DePauw University, says “shows based on unique or unusual people usually don’t have great staying power.” “Once viewers have seen the personalities and their lifestyles, audiences tend to move along… Duck Dynasty already beat the odds by getting to Season 6.” Other industry insiders say the show’s marketability has been able to save it from cancelation before, and may continue to do so for awhile longer. Moreover, the network airing it says Season 7 is already in the can. “It’s a strong, strong franchise and will continue for a number of years,” said David McKillop, executive vice president and general manager of A&E, said. Forbes estimated that Duck Dynasty was worth about $400 million to A&E just in merchandising, and HEY, two-thirds of 12 million viewers is still a robust four. Even if the Robertsons can’t amass an empire of reality shows like E! has thanks to Keeping Up With the Kardashians , it’ll go down as enormously successful. After all, seven seasons is still worth quacking about.

According to Buckingham Palace insiders, Kate Middleton and Prince William are moving to Anmer Hall to be closer to Will’s new job as an air ambulance operator. While some might consider it admirable that Will is taking on peasant work and devoting his life to helping others, many Brits are upset, as they believe he’s both shirking his royal duties and putting himself in harm’s way. And that may be why Will and Kate are moving to Anmer secretly during their upcoming month-long “vacation.” Kate Middleton & Prince William Photos: A Love Story 1. Kate Middleton and Prince William: Moving Out of Kensington Palace Despite $1 MILLION Renovation!

Kate Middleton may be pregnant, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to settle in one place. Reports out of England indicate that Prince William has taken a job as an air ambulance operator that will pay him the equivalent of about $30,000 US dollars a year, and require Will and his family to live most of the year at Anmer Hall in rural Norfolk. It may sound admirable: Will taking a low-paying, potentially dangerous job that will benefit others, rather than relaxing on a throne somewhere, but many Brits are justifiably pissed that Will continues to shirk his royal duties, and waited until after his 22-room apartment was renovated top-to-bottom (at great expense to tax payers) before announcing his intention to live elsewhere. Naturally, there’s plenty of speculation as to whether Will and Kate have ulterior motives for fleeing the hustle and bustle of London. There have long been rumors that Kate’s been clashing with the Queen over everything from her mothering, to her spending habits, to her “wardrobe malfunctions.” (We’ll sincerely miss Kate Middleton wardrobe malfunctions when she moves to the boonies.) Is the royal couple moving as far as possible from Buckingham Palace to avoid further feuding? Or is there a much more obvious and understandable motivation here? Prince George celebrates his first birthday  today, and it won’t be long before the young lad is aware of the constant throng of paparazzi that surrounds him everywhere he goes. Rachel Jeantel Blames Herself For George Zimmerman Verdict R.I.P. Trayvon. .. Via Mediaite: It’s been just over a year since the world was introduced to Rachel Jeantel, the friend of Trayvon Martin’s who testified on behalf of the prosecution in the George Zimmerman murder trial, but may have ended up doing more harm than good. CNN caught up with Jeantel this week, asking her if she blamed herself when Zimmerman went free. “A little bit,” she replied. Asked if she should have said something different or acted differently on the stand, she answered, “Act different.” Jeantel said the jurors in the case didn’t take her seriously as a witness, judging her for the way she looks and talks. While Jeantel’s reading level was not above that of a third grader last summer, she has since turned her life around, undergoing intensive tutoring and graduating from high school this spring. She now credits the turnaround to her experience with the trial, saying she kept her word to Trayvon Martin to complete her high school education. Do you agree with Rachel? George Clooney BLASTS The Daily Mail for False, "Dangerous" Amal Alamuddin Story

George Clooney has publicly referred to  Amal Alamuddin as his “fiancee” for the first time. But the actor wishes the circumstances of him doing so were very different. Very early this morning, USA Today published an op-ed by George Clooney in which he GOES OFF on The Daily Mail for printing a story that claims his future mother-in-law opposes his engagement to Alamuddin due to her religious beliefs. As Clooney writes, according to The Daily Mail, “Amal’s mother has been telling ‘half of Beirut’ that she’s against the wedding. It says they joke about traditions in the Druze religion that end up with the death of the bride.” Adds Clooney: “Let me repeat that: the death of the bride.” Clooney goes on to deny all facts in the article, saying the newspaper has Amal’s mother’s religion wrong and that she is “in no way against the marriage.” He then says he doesn’t care when tabloids conjure up tails about the actual marriage, such as it taking place on the set of Downton Abbey ; or when they pen “idiotic stories” about him running for office or Alamuddin being pregnant. HOWEVER… “The irresponsibility, in this day and age, to exploit religious differences where none exist, is at the very least negligent and more appropriately dangerous,” the 53-year-old actor writes. “We have family members all over the world, and the idea that someone would inflame any part of that world for the sole reason of selling papers should be criminal.” Clooney acknowledges that his job makes it impossible for his private life to ever be truly private, but certain lines should never be crossed. “The Daily Mail, more than any other organization that calls itself news, has proved time and time again that facts make no difference in the articles they make up,” Clooney concludes. “And when they put my family and my friends in harm’s way, they cross far beyond just a laughable tabloid and into the arena of inciting violence. They must be so very proud.” Clooney and Alamuddin got engaged in April.
