Harvey Weinstein Ex-Assistant Sues: He Made Me Clean Up His Semen!

We all heard the horrifying story of what Harvey Weinstein allegedly did to his former assistant . But, as you can imagine, the 65-year-old former mega-producer had multiple assistants over the years. One of those assistants, Sandeep Rehal, is now suing over the way that she says Harvey Weinstein treated her. This goes beyond what most of us think of as workplace sexual harassment. The accusation that she says that she was regularly required to clean up semen and condoms, which is gross , barely scratches the surface. TMZ reports that Sandeep Rehal is suing Harvey Weinstein and also Rob Weinstein for “unspecified damages.” She says that she started working as Harvey Weinstein’s personal assistant in 2013. According to her accusations, while she worked as his assistant, if they sat together in a car, he would rub her between her thighs. She describes how he would allegedly press against her when they walked, and use derogatory language to refer to her — calling her things like “c–t” and “p–sy.” Sandeep accuses Harvey Weinstein of repeatedly using the line: “What’s wrong Sandeep, is the tampon up too far today?” Obviously, that’s inexcusable to say under any circumstances, because it’s sexist and vile. In a workplace environment, it’s normally a reason to go to HR. She also describes Harvey Weinstein in a way that matches the description of him as a leering, power-mad ogre that we’ve heard so much, saying that he was fond of the phrase: “I am Harvey Weinstein and you are at Weinstein University. I decide whether or not you graduate.” And then it gets worse. Sandeep says that Harvey Weinstein had her manage an updated list of “available women” for his sexual conquests.  She did even more to facilitate that, making sure that he was stocked with Caverject shots for erectile dysfunction. To be clear, TMZ isn’t suggesting that Sandeep is saying that she helped him plan Weinstein’s alleged rapes of various actresses. Just that she managed his itinerary. But then comes what might be the grossest part that doesn’t involve Weinstein touching or speaking to her. She says that she was regularly required to clean semen from Harvey Weinstein’s couch, and to pick up his used condoms. Ewww . She also had to obtain clean underwear for him, but out of context, getting clothes for your boss is often a pretty standard job for personal assistants. (In context … it’s still icky) In response, Harvey Weinstein’s representation tells TMZ : “Mr. Weinstein categorically denies these claims and his lawyers will respond in the appropriate legal forum with evidence proving they are untrue.” So, your pretty standard denial. A little different from the “remembering things differently” line that came out in response to Lupita Nyong’o’s disturbing story . “The evidence will show these claims for money are in the realm of a science fiction movie.” Sandeep Rehal isn’t even the only woman suing, of course. It sounds like Weinstein’s lawyers are going to be very, very busy.  There has been backlash against the #MeToo movement, mostly by men who think think that each of the accused is being portrayed as being equal to the others. (They aren’t; people have been very clear that James Franco is no Harvey Weinstein , because of course he isn’t) And then there are the usual irritating defenses — reductions to the absurd like “what, I can’t talk to women anymore?” to which most of us just want to respond: “If that’s your takeaway, then yes.” Because if you can’t tell the difference between talking to a woman and saying inappropriate things to her, you shouldn’t be talking to anyone. But even the most devoted contrarians seem to agree that Harvey Weinstein sounds horrifying. He was the string that was pulled to unravel so many sex monsters. Taylor Swift Naked? Singer Responds to Birthday Suit Speculation

The rollout for Taylor Swift’s upcoming album has not gone as smoothly as the singer had likely hoped. Her first release off “Reputation” was widely panned by critics, who also thought the Look What You Made Me Do video was, frankly, pretty lame. So now the question is this: Did Swift look to change up the negative narrative by acting like her bitter rival, Kim Kardashian? Did she actually get naked for the just-unveiled “… Ready For It” video? That’s what some folks are speculating after watching the footage below, which does appear to depict Taylor in her birthday suit. Taylor Swift Drops Revealing Music Video for “… Ready For It” But only if you look very quickly and not very closely, that is. With some Internet users wondering whether she had chosen to bare it ALL for public consumption, an act that would run contrary to her fairly conservative persona, Swift wrote the following on Instagram yesterday: “It truly warms my heart that so many ppl had so much to say about this bodysuit.” The singer, of course, is being sarcastic. A lot of the comments online from those who believed she really did go nude weren’t exactly positive. As trolls so very often do, they criticized Swift and body-shamed the heck out of her, all while thinking she really did take her clothes off for the video. In reality, she simply wore a bodysuit. To make this point extra clear, Swift shared a number of pictures on social media of her in said bodysuit. She took followers behind the scenes of her shoot for this video, which was inspired by the science-fiction genre and which features many special effects and pretend robots. It’s interesting footage, that’s for sure. And it contains plenty of Easter Eggs for Swifties, such as a reference to boyfriend Joe Alwyn , along with references to past Taylor Swift music videos. To make it apparent once more, however, it does NOT include any shots of Taylor Swift naked. Thankfully, most of Taylor’s loyal fans are well aware of this fact. They have rushed to their hero’s defense on Twitter and other platforms. Wrote one supporter:  Do people not understand wtf a bodysuit is? The way the media is spinning this Taylor Swift music video teaser is crazy. And another:  That awkward moment when people are trying to shame Taylor Swift for being naked, and it’s just a bodysuit. And a couple more: Swift’s sixth studio album comes out on November 10. Will you buy it?

James Toback Goes on Vicious, Disgusting Rant Against Sexual Assault Accusers

Remember this time last week when most of us weren’t even aware of the existence of James Toback? What a wonderful time that was. Yes, that ignorance sure was bliss, but since early last week, we’ve heard story after story about Toback, the man behind films like Two Girls and a Guy, The Pick-Up Artist, and Bugsy. And those stories were just completely horrific . At this point, over 300 women in the industry, including very famous actresses like Rachel McAdams and Selma Blair, have come forward with claims that Toback sexually assaulted them, or attempted to assault them. Just think about that for a moment: over 300 women, all with a story to tell about this guy. Selma Blair said that she met with Toback  when her career was just starting to take off, and that he requested she come to his hotel room to discuss a possible role in one of his movies, Harvard Man. After a bit of conversation, he asked her to perform a monologue naked, and, being intimidated and scared, she agreed. He touched himself while she did the monologue, then asked her to sleep with him. She refused and tried to leave the room, but he blocked her way and threatened her until she allowed him to hump her leg — something he greatly enjoys doing, based on the other women’s stories. Actresses Ambika Leigh and Sari Kamin, two of the first people to come forward with their accusations, claimed that he set up professional meetings with them that soon turned sexual and that ended with him humping their legs. So how is Toback dealing with all this? Is he simply laying low, hoping everything blows over? Did he pull a Harvey Weinstein and fly off to a rehab/resort for a week? Nope, it turns out that he’s just going the “be nasty and cruel in a vulgar public statement” route. In an interview published by Rolling Stone, Toback was asked about the recent allegations during a phone call, and he denied everything in spectacular fashion. “Lemme be really clear about this,” he said. “I don’t want to get a pat on the back, but I’ve struggled seriously to make movies with very little money, that I write, that I direct, that mean my life to me.” “The idea that I would offer a part to anyone for any other reason than that he or she was gonna be the best of anyone I could find is so disgusting to me,” he continued. “And anyone who says it is a lying c–ksucker or c–t or both. Can I be any clearer than that? … Anyone who says that, I just want to spit in his or her f-cking face.” “By the way,” he added, “no one who’s ever worked with me would ever say anything like that. No one.” Then he bizarrely mentioned that Sienna Miller, the star of his latest movie, was sitting right next to him. She spoke with the reporter for moment in an off-the-record conversation — no public defense from her — then Toback took back the phone. “No, seriously, I find it offensive and insulting and disgusting, that people …” he trailed off. “Because it’s the opposite of the way I work. I don’t give my best friends parts unless they deserve them. Ever.” Which is a weird thing to say, because that’s not exactly what he’s being accused of. These hundreds of women didn’t all go on to star in his movies, you know? The interviewer pointed that out, that he’s mostly being accused of discussing work with women before getting them in a private setting and humping their legs. Toback responded to that by asking the reporter to give him one name, and he did — Ambika Leigh’s name. He said that Ambika’s story “is a total lie,” and that he never even heard of her before, “and believe me, I would remember it, because it’s a very unusual name.” “This is just too stupid,” he went on. “I mean, these are people I don’t know, and it’s things I never would have done. And it’s just not worth talking about. It’s idiotic.” He said that these women “hear each other. And they gang up … It’s all, you know, me too, me too, me too, me too, me too.” “Anyway, it’s too stupid to waste time on. It really is. It doesn’t have anything to do with my life in any way. It never has. I work seriously with complete integrity.” He went on to call the allegations “too stupid to dignify,” “pathetic lies,” and “too f-cking embarrassing and idiotic.” Another interesting layer to this conversation? The reporter’s own wife had a story about Toback — when she was in high school, he tried to discuss a movie with her before turning the conversation to her pubic hair. It’s just wild, because it’s like this jackass sincerely believes that we’ll buy all this, that hundreds of women just decided to “gang up” and make up tales about how he humped their legs. View Slideshow: #MeToo: Stars Share Stories of Sexual Harassment, Assault The vast majority of the people working in Hollywood don’t deal with this kind of thing. There’s the occasional Harvey Weinstein or Bill Cosby , but it’s not normal for this many people to accuse you of these very specific things if there’s no truth at all in those accusations. Also, if your response to many, many people accusing you of doing horrific things is to call them “lying c–ksuckers and c–ts” … is there any hope left at all for humanity?

Kathy Griffin Goes After Andy Cohen, Harvey Levin and More in INSANE Rant!

Kathy Griffin has some things to say. And, as you’ll see, that’s actually a massive, massive understatement. Back in May, as you’ll surely remember, Kathy did a photo shoot in which she held the decapitated head of Donald Trump — a Halloween mask covered in ketchup. It caused quite a stir: she was fired from multiple gigs, and she was even the subject of a federal investigation. Shortly after sharing the photo, she apologized , explaining that sometimes with comedy, lines can be crossed, and this was one of those times. But in the months since, she’s retracted her apology because “The whole thing got so blown out of proportion.” She said that the photo didn’t only cost her jobs, but friends began turning against her, she and her family started getting death threats. And now, five months later, she’s still dealing with the backlash. Earlier this week, it was announced that Andy Cohen would be replacing Kathy on CNN’s New Year’s Eve special, and when Andy was asked about it by TMZ, he replied with “Who? I don’t know her.” Meaning that he didn’t know Kathy — you know that classic Mariah Carey move. Except that Andy and Kathy definitely know each other, since she had a show on Bravo for years. She addressed that in a pointed tweet. “Even when it’s on tape, there are doubters?” she wrote. “He is NOT kidding w paps. Was my boss for 10 years. Treated me like a dog. Deeply misogynistic.” She was so upset by Andy’s words that she did a 17 minute video in which she went after him, TMZ boss Harvey Levin, and all the people she’s ever interacted with in her career that did her dirty. She kicks the video off by explaining that the fallout from the Trump photo is still going on , and it’s actually gotten worse. To prove that, she shares a voicemail she’d gotten from Harvey — he asked her to call him back for a chat and left his phone number, which she doesn’t disguise at all in the video. The reason for releasing his phone number, she says, is because after the Trump photo was released, she was doxxed mercilessly — and she feels that since Harvey is “in bed with everybody from Hollywood to Donald Trump,” he deserves similar treatment. From there, she jumps on to Andy Cohen, who she says was a “miserable boss” during her years at Bravo. She mocks him a bit for being an executive who then gave himself his own talk show — “seems to get picked up every season,” she joked. After that, Kathy jumps back to Harvey for a moment — she seems a little scatterbrained throughout the video, honestly, but we can’t really blame her. She claims that Tyler Shields, the photographer who took the photo, told her that two different people from TMZ told him that Harvey speaks with Trump multiple times a week. “Is that OK with you guys?” she asks. “The president talking to a gossip blogger?” Back to Andy, Kathy alleges that the two times she appeared on Watch What Happens Live, he offered her cocaine before filming began. So there’s that. About TMZ, she says that the website itself is extremely misogynistic, and that ageism is a big problem, too. “Harvey Levin, have you ever done anything honorable, ever?” she asks. “What do you do besides tear women down and make a bunch of money?” She actually refers to him as “the gay male version of Kellyanne Conway.” All throughout the video, she names people — not famous people, just people she’s worked with in the industry — who she feels let her down in some way. After all this, at the end of the video, she explains that she recorded it in the first place because she’s currently on a world tour, and she’s leaving Australia soon for Singapore. She’s been advised that she’s on multiple international lists, and that she’s been detained at every airport she’s been to in recent months. “So when I go to Singapore, if I just don’t return, I just want you guys to know, that’s why. Because I took a picture of a mask with ketchup on it.” Thoughts?

Mimi Haleyi: Harvey Weinstein Orally Assaulted Me While I Was on My Period

If we documented every sexual assault charge against movie producer Harvey Weinstein , we’d never have time to write about anything else at The Hollywood Gossip. But the accusation leveled against Weinstein this afternoon by a former production assistant named Mimi Haleyi seems worth mentioning because it’s just so appalling. And disgusting, to be honest. An ex-employee of the Weinstein Co., Haleyi sat alongside attorney Gloria Allred in New York City on Tuesday and told the press that she met Weinstein at the 2004 premiere of The Aviator. Two years later, at the Cannes Film Festival, Weinstein invited Haleyi to his hotel room to supposedly discuss business. After “a few minutes of normal conversation,” he attempted to convince Haleyi to give him a massage, she explained. But she declined and left the room. “By that time I was crying, as I felt completely humiliated and stupid for having been excited about meeting with him,” Haleyi said. Following this incident, Weinstein actually asked Haleyi to work on one of his television shows. After this jobs ended, he asked her to go to Paris with him. This seemed like a “romantic” request, Haleyi said today, so she turned it down. Angered that she would say no to him (twice, no less), Weinstein allegedly showed up to Haleyi’s apartment in New York and “physically forced himself in through the door, pleading with me to come to Paris,” she said. But she did not give in. After Weinstein returned from France, Haleyi said she wanted to “maintain a good relationship” with the producer, so she agreed to meet him at his Manhattan apartment. They watched TV for a few minutes, but soon “he was all over me, making sexual advances,” she said, adding: “I said, ‘I am on my period. There is no way this is going to happen. Please stop.’ He wouldn’t take no for an answer.” Weinstein is then accused of backing Haleyi into what looked like a child’s bedroom. “He held me on the bed, I tried to get him off me but … he was extremely persistent and physically overpowering,” she said. “He orally forced himself on me while i was on my period. He even pulled my tampon out. I was mortified. I was in disbelief and disgusted.” After the alleged assault, Haleyi said Weinstein rolled over on his back and asked: “Don’t you feel like we’re so much closer now?” No , she replied. Earlier this month, a New York Times article detailed eight separate settlements Weinstein had arrived at with women who accused him of sexual misconduct. Since this article went viral, countless others in Hollywood have shared their Harvey Weinstein stories. And many sound eerily similar to this one, with women saying Weinstein would invite them to his hotel room under the guise of business… only to force himself on them in various ways . A spokeswoman for Weinstein has previously said that “any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied” by him. As of this writing, 54 women have accused Weinstein of sexual assault or harassment. View Slideshow: #MeToo: Stars Share Stories of Sexual Harassment, Assault

Steve Harvey Lawsuit: Ex-Wife Alleges Mental Torture, "Soul Murdering"

In a controversial letter to employees that went viral last week, Steve Harvey demanded to be left alone . But Mary L. Vaughn apparently did not get the memo. The comedian’s ex-wife is coming strong after the man she says scorned her in nearly every way imaginable, filing a $60 million lawsuit against Harvey that paints him in an even worse light than that infamous letter. Vaughn and Harvey were married from 1996 through 2005. During their time together, the former was allegedly subjected to “prolonged torture with the infliction of severe mental pain and suffering,” according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight. These same legal papers also claim that Vaughn “attempted suicide by self-medicating [in] an effort to stop the pain.” Yikes . They go on to allege that Harvey and his lawyer caused “severe emotional distress” that led to a litany of medical conditions for not only Vaughn … but her immediate family over the past 15 years or so. Pretty damning accusations, that’s for certain. And Vaughn isn’t even finished. She’s suing the talk show host for child endangerment, torture, kidnapping, breach of contract, conspiracy against rights, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and “soul murdering.” The lawsuit even cites such terms/actions as harassment , brainwashing and theft by deception . Harvey and Vaughn share a 10-year old son, Wynton. This isn’t the first time the latter has aired severe accusations against Harvey, having previously gone off on him via a YouTube video. She was even jailed for 30 days in 2013 for contempt of court after violating the terms of a gag order in the couple’s divorce. Harvey has three kids from his first marriage and has been the husband of third wife Marjorie since 2007. Just a few days ago, Harvey made negative headlines after the Internet learned that he sent a memo to employees last year in which he laid out a series of ground rules. They all boiled down to Harvey wanting total and complete privacy at work, with excerpts including the following demands: Do not come to my dressing room unless invited. Do not approach me while I’m in the makeup chair unless I ask to speak with you directly. Do not wait in the hallway to speak to me… make an appointment. The star eventually acknowledged that he sent this letter, but made no apologies for how much of a diva it made him sound like. “I could not find a way to walk from the stage to my dressing room, to sit in my makeup chair, to walk from my dressing room to the stage or to just sit and have lunch without somebody just walking in,” Harvey explained to ET , adding: “I’ve always had a policy where, you know, you can come and talk to me – so many people are great around here, but some of them just started taking advantage of it… “I just didn’t want to be in this prison anymore where I had to be in this little room, scared to go out and take a breath of fresh air without somebody approaching me, so I wrote the letter.” Vaughn would likely say that she knows a thing or two about being stuck in a prison when it comes to Harvey. In response to her lawsuit, Steve’s attorney Brandon Williams told TMZ the followingL “Mr. Harvey vehemently denies any allegations set forth in the lawsuit. The Complaint is meritless, frivolous and the allegations are completely false. “We will vigorously defend/counterclaim against the Complaint.”

Kim Kardashian: Not Invited to ANY Oscar Parties?!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may be back together, but that doesn’t mean they’re back on top. In years past, Kimye was a constant presence at big awards season events, but this time around, the couple wasn’t spotted working a single red carpet or after-party. And according to a new report from Radar Online, it’s not for lack of trying: “Kim was hoping to go to the Vanity Fair party, or really any party,” a source close to the Kardashians  tells the site. “But she didn’t receive an invitation.” Instead of hobnobbing with the rich and famous, Kim and Kanye reportedly spent the evening on the couch, likely rocking matching pairs of $3,000 Yeezy sweatpants: “They watched the show at home,” the insider says. “Kim is often reminded that she is not a real star when she goes to any of these things, but she and Kanye really wanted to have a fun night out.” Yes, the Kim Kardashian sex tape may have been a hit online, but surprisingly, it hasn’t earned Kim much praise from critics. This isn’t the first year that the Wests have sat out the awards season party circuit, but the source says they were hoping to send a message by attending some of 2017’s biggest events. Kanye was hospitalized following an emotional breakdown back in November, and there have been murmurs about the state of his mental health ever since. On top of that, Kim and Kanye divorce rumors have been flooding social media non-stop. Popping up at a few red carpet soirees would have been an easy way for the couple to reassure fans and garner a few good headlines for a change. Interestingly, Kim’s not the only member of her family to feel put-off by Hollywood’s biggest night. Production sources say Kris Jenner threw a tantrum while covering the red carpet for E! News. The infamous momager was reportedly pissed that she wasn’t informed about the blue ribbons celebs were wearing to show their support for the ACLU. Jenner felt that she was made to look like a fool for asking about the significance of the ribbon on air. Sounds like the Trumps might not be the only family who chooses not to tune in to next year’s ceremony. View Slideshow: Kim Kardashian: 19 Reasons Why She Isn’t That Terrible

Steve Harvey Responds to Best Picture Flub: I’ve Been There, Folks!

Steve Harvey suddenly has something significant in common with Warren Beatty. But it has nothing to do with the massive number of women with whom Beatty has had sex. Instead, it’s the embarrassment of making an epically famous mistake on a national awards show stage. In December of 2015, Harvey concluded the Miss Universe Pageant by announcing Miss Colombia as the winner. The only problem at the time? Miss Colombia was not actually the winner. That honor actually belonged to Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines, a gross error that Harvey was forced to come out and admit minutes after misinforming the audience initially. It was quite the snafu, although it didn’t do much harm to Harvey’s career. Considering he was invited back to host the same beauty pageant a year later. Steve Harvey Announces WRONG Miss Universe Winner: You Gotta Watch This! On Sunday night, meanwhile, Warren Beatty was at the center of the greatest gaffe in Academy Awards history. Due to an envelope mix-up that really was not his fault, the legendary actor helped tell the world that La La Land had won Best Picture for 2017. Except it hadn’t. Moonlight had won Best Picture for 2017. Watch this VERY awkward snafu take place in the following video: Oscars 2017 Best Picture: There’s Been a Mistake! Soon after the proper victor was crowned, host Jimmy Kimmel tried to lighten the tense mood, quipping on stage: “Guys, this is very unfortunate what happened. Personally, I blame Steve Harvey for this.” It was a pretty good line, but it also gave Harvey a chance to milk the situation for as much attention as he possibly could. “Good morning everybody! Went to sleep early last night. So…what I miss? #Oscars,” the comedian Tweeted this morning, prior to using the mistake as a PR opportunity. “Tune in to @SteveHarveyFM at 8 AM ET today for my response to last night’s #Oscars . YOU KNOW I have something to say,” he added. On his radio show, Harvey proceeded to wax at length about the Oscars flub. “I know all about this. I know more than anyone else in the world about this,” said the 60-year-old. “I am the creator of these moments. The epicurean of this.” Harvey went on reference a number reactions made on social media to the televised mistake. “Because Warren made a mistake, does he have to die?” Harvey joked. “Should he lose his life? Y’all wanna kill him? Well he needs security because of this.” Prior to the cast and crew from Moonlight accepting the Best Picture prize, Beatty jumped back on the microphone and explained what happened, saying he was confused the second he opened the envelope because it read “Emma Stone, La La Land.” Since this snafu took place, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the auditing firm that tallies the Oscars votes, issued an apology and took responsibility. View Slideshow: Academy Awards Flub Inspires Internet, Leads to Other Best Picture Possibilities “Me and Warren handled it great. It’s me and Warren’s thing,” added Harvey. “We handled it great. At least the producers of the Oscars walked out with him… and they corrected the mistake on the night.” Concluded Harvey on his show: “Warren I know your pain!” “I can help Warren get through this. I’m [going to] show him how to handle it with dignity and grace. Thank God for producers who stand with their talent. Unlike waiting the next day to handle it with the press, as it was suggested in my ear… “I can help Warren get through this. Call me Warren, baby.”

Bye, Chester! Afrika Bambaataa Replaced As Zulu Nation Leader

Zulu Nation Cuts Ties With Afrika Bambaataa After previously stating child molestation claims were all part of conspiracy to besmirch Bambaataa’s name, the Zulu Nation says it has cut all ties with Afrika Bambaataa. Per Pitchfork : A statement on Zulu Nation’s UK website, attributed to the international and regional U.S. Zulu Leaders, didn’t mention Bambaataa by name, but said, “As part of this restructure ALL accused parties and those accused of covering up the current allegations of child molestation have been removed and have stepped down from their current positions.” In addition to not naming Bambaataa specifically, the statement said the organization said it couldn’t condemn “one of our founders based on testimony through social media alone.” However, the statement added: “We also cannot dismiss the comments of parties asserting they have been harmed. We have a duty to search for truth.” The group also said it wanted to “extend great sympathy to anyone affected by such issues.” Throughout, the statement emphasized need for change within the organization, saying, “There shall also be a new move to work towards providing support for victims of abuse, rape and molestation and working more closely on other social issues existing in communities such as drug addiction, alcoholism and mental health.” This comes a few days after Bam’s former bodyguard said the hip-hop legend molested “hundreds of boys.” While fellow hip-hop legend KRS-One proudly stands by Chester The Molester, his Boogie Down Productions brother D-Nice is another story. Here’s what he posted on Facebook. I’m a father and a lover of hip-hop culture. I’m deeply disturbed and disappointed by what I’ve been hearing. We must protect our kids. The Bambaataa pedophilia allegations are heartbreaking and disgusting. If what they are saying is true, I have no respect for him or anyone that attempts to defend him.
