Leah Messer: Once Again Criticized for Bad Parenting

Leah Messer just can’t catch a break. No matter what she does, no matter how far she comes in life, she continues to receive criticism like there’s no tomorrow. And sure, sometimes she’s deserved it. Who could forget all those times on Teen Mom 2 when her daughters were crying because she hadn’t fed them breakfast and they were hungry? Or what about that time that she legit nodded off while holding a baby ? But sometimes, Leah does her best, and it’s still not good enough for her haters. This is one of those times. Over the weekend, Leah took her girls to a cheerleading competition. One of the twins, Aleeah (also known as Gracie), was in the competition, and Leah proudly shared some photos of her. And that, according to many people, was the wrong thing to do. People took issue with Aleeah’s costume as well as the amount of makeup she was wearing. “I don’t understand the need to dress our children so sexy and provocatively and put makeup on them and make them look older,” one commenter wrote. “Let them be little let them be children. Let them be innocent!!!” Another commanded Leah to “Cover those babies up!!! Too much skin!!!” One person complained that “It’s pretty sick how parents dont let their kids be kids!” Another asked “Can someone here explain the need for makeup and crop tops/mini shirts on a child?? Umm how does this ad to the sport??” And one more really got out of line, writing that “These are babies that don’t need makeup or even wear cheer clothes like these. I can bet everything I have (and dear god I hope I’m wrong) that she’s going to be 16 and pregnant too. Ugh.” There are so many issues with these kinds of comments … where do we even begin? One, we shouldn’t have to explain how wrong it is to suggest that a seven-year-old girl is going to end up pregnant at 16. Two, Aleeah has to wear that much makeup because she’s on a stage in front of a big crowd with bright lights on her. If she didn’t wear heavy makeup, no one in the audience would be able to see her face. It’s not like Leah is letting her kid go to school in that makeup , unlike some other Teen Moms. Three, the kids have to wear a certain kind of clothing to be able to move freely, right? They’re just cheerleading, it’s not like they’re modeling bikinis like You-Know-Who’s kid . Four, if Leah and the rest of these girls’ mothers are fine with this, then isn’t that what’s important? Leah’s been working hard to become a good, stable parent, and it’s nice to see her doing things like this with her children. Let’s not make this a negative thing, OK? On Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 3, Javi Marroquin finally returned home from deployment, and he and Kailyn Lowry reached a tipping point. One that we’ve going to go out on a limb and say that you all saw coming a mile away at this juncture if you watch Teen Mom 2 online . Watch Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 3 Online When Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 3 got underway, Kailyn took her two kids to Puerto Rico as Javi’s return from military duty approached. They’d already filed for divorce (the timeline for this is disputed, and a reason Kailyn is threatening to quit the show ), but she was still anxious. Her first ex, Jo Rivera, offered “no comment” when asked if she sucks at relationships, but said he doesn’t want their dynamic to change. That will be tough since Kail told the kids flat out that when Javi got back from overseas, he wouldn’t be living together with them anymore. Lincoln and Isaac took it well, but Isaac was naturally confused about why only Linc would be going over to Javi’s new house sometimes. Then it became quite clear to everyone involved. Javi Marroquin: See His Heartbreaking Homecoming on Teen Mom 2! Javi and Kailyn were arguing over car seats within minutes after he returned from half a year away, and they could barely speak politely. These two? Not the best at communication. “It’s weird,” she said, stating the obvious. Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 3 ended with devastating realness for Isaac, who was clearly upset and emotionally reeling from it all. Whether you’re Team Javi or Team Kail, everyone should be Team Isaac and Team Lincoln, because that’s what it’s really all about. They’re parents for life, even if they’re not married for life, and we hope they find a way to put their differences aside for the kids’ sake. It is honestly heartbreaking to watch. Speaking of single parenting woes: Leah Messer Attacked by Jeremy Calvert for THIS?! Just as Leah Messer was preparing to move herself and her three girls into their new home, her town was hit by a devastating flood. Her ex-husband Jeremy Calvert’s parents’ home was wrecked in the natural disaster, so he returned home to help them deal with it. That’s when things got contentious. Out of the blue, he took their daughter to Ohio – where he is living and engaged to Brooke Wehr – and wouldn’t answer Leah’s calls. “We’re supposed to get another flash flood warning, and she’s in another city, and I know nothing!” Leah said, fuming at Jer’s decision. Calvert, she said, later “lied his way out” of the issue when confronted about being hard to reach while taking Addie out of the state. If it’s not one thing, it’s another … Chelsea Houska Shows Off Growing Baby Bump! In South Dakota, the pregnant Chelsea Houska was eager to make a big baby announcement, but wanted to wait until after a sonogram. Even buying a machine to hear the fetal heartbeat at her home whenever she wanted didn’t calm her nerves, but a doctor’s visit did. After she posted the announcement to social media, she, Cole DeBoer, Aubree and a producer all celebrated the joyful news again. Things weren’t so joyous in the Happiest Place on Earth, where Jenelle Evans was having so much fun with Jace, she wanted to stay loner. Too bad Barbara Evans has custody, and other plans; Jenelle’s mom wanted him back with her right away, and that led to a huge melee. With no resolution in sight. Adam Lind: Arrest Warrants Issued For Back Child Support!

Teen Mom 2 star Adam Lind is officially a deadbeat dad. Chelsea Houska and Taylor Halbur are due major compensation from this flake, an ongoing struggle that ironically helped them become close. Because Adam Lind has failed to pay enough child support to either woman, the derelict of society now has two warrants out for his arrest. According to the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office in South Dakota, Lind currently owes $3,805 in child support for the first warrant. A family insider confirmed that the amount is for his child support agreement with Teen Mom 2 staple Houska for their daughter Aubree, 7. If that doesn’t sound like a lot, well, maybe it’s not to you, or it shouldn’t be, but these things are relative, and we’re talking about Adam Lind.  Not exactly a model citizen in any respect. As for the second warrant, Lind owes former girlfriend Taylor Halbur even more – $5,489 in back child support for their daughter Paislee, 3. How can he be that short at this point? “He isn’t paying because he’s an idiot and thinks the amount isn’t fair ,” a source close to the situation tells Radar , without mincing words. Sadly for Lind, it doesn’t work that way. Adam is required, by binding court order, to pay $945 per month to Houska as of March 3, 2016, and also to pay for her health insurance. Lind is also on the hook for “medical, dental, orthodontic, optometric, counseling or other health care costs that are not covered by insurance.” For additional costs not covered by insurance, Houska is expected to pay 55 percent, while Lind must handle the remaining 45 percent. Halbur, for her part, is expected to receive $1,203 a month from the world class loser as of June 20, 2016, and apparently has not been. The court documents in her case read: “Included in this amount is the amount of reimbursement or credit for medical insurance, any allocation of child care costs as set forth in the report.” Halbur is responsible for the first $250 per year of medical expenses that is not covered by insurance; after that, the remaining 25 percent.  Lind is ordered to pay the remaining 75 percent after that point, which clearly is a task he may not be up to – and pay a heavier price for. The personal trainer, seen above with Paislee and current fiancee Stasia Huber , has blasted both of his ex-girlfriends on social media. After they requested that the court raise the amount he pays per month, Lind wasn’t having it … and in turn, he let them both have it. “She feels $945 a month is necessary,” he ranted. “Guess her lil pig, 6 dogs, new jeep and house just isn’t enough and needs extra $$.” That would be Chelsea Houska, who is now engaged to Cole De Boer, by all accounts a stand-up guy, and getting married soon. Whom I have some custody of.” “Weird how they both file for more $$ right when season 7 is coming to an end to kick of their season 8.” Of course, Lind threatened to quit Teen Mom 2 , claiming he’s fed up with MTV, then quietly angled for a raise to come back on. He’s smooth, this one. Adam has not been arrested for the charges, though if he keeps running his mouth and withholding money he clearly has, that could change.  Fast.

Leah Messer: Pissing Off Other Parents at Kids’ School?

Getting kids ready and off to school on time is never easy, but this time of year, after having the tykes at home all summer, many parents look forward to morning drop-offs. Not Leah Messer. For Leah the morning drop-off is the ultimate test of parenting competency. Last year, she botched one so badly that she briefly held the title of Most Hated Teen Mom 2 Cast Member. (Fortunately for Leah and the other girls, Jenelle Evans is always quick to regain that title.) You may remember the scene and the social media firestorm that followed it. Leah rushed her girls off to school without feeding them breakfast first, and the young ladies were decidedly (and understandably) not happy about it. To make matters worse, it wasn’t the only time that Leah had trouble getting the kids off to school on time: Leah Messer to Kids: I’ll Get You to School Whenever I Want! In fact, things got so bad, that Leah actually lost custody of her twins to their father, Corey Simms, in large part because of her inability to get them up and ready for class in a timely fashion. It wasn’t until she was able to demonstrate that she is able to get the kids fed, clothed and off to school that Leah was granted custody again . We think it’s safe to say she’s not a morning person. Anyway, it seems that Leah is once again having weekday morning issues. Except this it’s not her kids who are cranky – it’s the other parents. Leah posted the following to Instagram earlier today: As you can see, she’s eager to apologize/clarify herself to a fellow parent who was clearly upset about the presence of a camera crew at their child’s bus stop. “There were NO cameras filming at my girls’ bus stop this morning,” Leah writes. “MTV follows my life and happened to be doing so this morning at my home. “HOWEVER, I personally have more than enough RESPECT for the other children & parents that I knew would be there to make it VERY clear to MTV that no cameras were to be filming at the bus stop.” She concludes: “I hope the person who seemed to be frustrated that the crew was following behind me in a car does see this and knows that my priority is my children, and our school, and my job on TV will never interfere with that. “If you have ANY questions or concerns feel free to contact me directly.” It’s unclear exactly why the offended party believed their child was being filmed, but we can’t help but think that Leah could’ve handled this in a more discrete fashion. Granted, she didn’t mention the person by name, but a kindly worded email or phone call probably would’ve been more effective than Leah addressing a situation regarding privacy in front of her 1 million IG followers. Jeremy Calvert Surprises Daughter Adalynn, Leah Messer Captures It On Video

Leah Messer might not get along with her exes, but she did something so sweet for Jeremy Calvert that she shared it with Teen Mom fans. Messer's daughter, Adalynn, was climbing up a playground structure when Messer told her to look down the slide. There was Calvert waiting to give his 3-year-old daughter a big hug. The little girl was so cute as she realized what was going on, then hustled down the slide, right into Calvert's arms. “Her surprise today was DADDY!,” Messer wrote on the Instagram video.   “Made mommy all emotional!!” Leah, who also has two daughters by her first ex-husband, Corey Simms, added in the caption. “So happy for my baby!!!” We're happy for Addie too, and from the looks of it, this is just the preview of a scene we'll get to watch play out in HD. Production captured the embrace, which viewers will likely see on when they watch Teen Mom 2 online next season. One eagle-eyed fan wrote: “I see you all are filming again ( see the camera dude in the back lol) 🙂 that hug probably lasted longer than you were able to capture.” “Such a beautiful moment.” The compliments just kept coming: – “This was such an amazing video!!! Just saw it and it definitely made my day!”  – “God bless you guys and all of you guys sure deserve happiness she missed her Daddy!!!!” – “Thanks for sharing this moment!!! I bet Jeremy couldn't hold back his tears either!!!!” It really was pretty beautiful. Calvert and Messer have had their ups and downs while co-parenting Adalynn, which was chronicled on last season of Teen Mom 2. Since then, however, things have improved significantly. The former couple, who have always enjoyed a good co-parenting relationship despite going through a tough divorce, are very amicable. There were some bumps in the road earlier this year, though. When the most recent MTV reunion special aired back in June, Messer was frustrated with her ex and very vocal about this. At issue? Him being around less and less these days. “I don’t know what’s wrong with him right now,” she said. “I have full custody of Addie. He was doing great, but he moved in with his girlfriend in Ohio.” Calvert does work a lot, and is on the road frequently for his job, and visiting the aforementioned girlfriend, Brooke Wehr  (pictured above). There may be some hard feelings there, but they haven't taken away from what the former spouses are trying to do in putting Addie first. It's really nice to see that the two are working to make sure they remain on good terms, and their daughter sees him whenever he can. Watch the emotional video below …

Amber Rose Debuts Dramatic New Look, Overdoes It With The Lipstick

Welp, here we are.  And there Amber Rose sits, with her new ‘do, piercing eyes and puckered lips. What brought on this change?  We’re not sure, but it suits the talk show host.  Two weeks ago, Rose sported a blond wig a la Marilyn Monroe, so we’re starting to see a dress-up pattern here. Maybe she’s Brigitte Bardot this week? Recently, Rose told her audience how she’s begged her ex-husband and baby daddy Wiz Khalifa to give her his sperm so that she can have another baby. The former couple were in Charlotte, North Carolina where Khalifa was performing, and Rose asked him yet against for the baby making goods. “But instead, he just put his babies on my face.” Oh.  Ok. So I guess they’re hooking up again, but keeping it casual? Amber Rose Asks Wiz Khalifa For His Sperm Rose is fine with making fun of herself, but even she has her limits. Speaking to NBC News , the activist explained that there is a difference between making a joke and calling a woman a crass name. “People think I’m really controversial, she said. “I’m just really standing up for women . We are just sick of being talked down to, sick of being called ‘hoes’ and ‘sluts’, getting ‘slut shamed’ and talked down on for the same things men do. “People don’t understand that’s an extreme form of bullying. They bully women constantly and wonder why we are so insecure when they constantly put us down.” Rose also addressed the misconception that she is a very sexual person. “When I became famous, I got associated with so many men, who I had never even kissed or had sex with or anything. The rumors were out of my hands. People assume that I’m extremely sexually advanced, that I have orgies all day,” she said. The reality is that Rose is just as shy as most of us about the subject, but she points out that it’s just not her thing. “When I do hear the sex questions that I get sometimes I am taken back but I’m never judging,” she said. “My show is a no judging zone. Leah Messer Criticized For Negligent Parenting, Bad Grammar

Leah Messer is on vacation at the moment, but as she’s currently learning the hard way, there’s no vacation from social media drama. As you can see, she took her daughters with her, so you’d think we’d get a brief reprieve from claims that Leah is a negligent mom . But no, the concern-trolling is real when it comes to Leah, and the angry moms come out of the woodwork pretty much every time she posts. The pic above drew jeers and condemnation from some of her Instragram followers not because of the content, but because of the time it was posted. Leah captioned the pic: “Before bed, I couldn’t help but share! #MyFamily #AAA #summer2016 I love them so much!!” Seems innocent enough, but the pic was posted at about 1 am California time (Leah and her kids are in Garden Grove at the moment) and many fans interpreted the caption to mean that Leah and her daughters posed for the pic at that time. Others harkened back to the time that Leah rushed her kids off to school without breakfast , and suggested that if she didn’t stay up so late, perhaps she wouldn’t find it so difficult to wake up in the morning. Sigh. Wisely, Leah has chosen not to respond. Sadly, sometimes even if you don’t feed the trolls, they still multiply. Around the same time last night, Leah also posted the photo above, along with a caption reading: “A bond that will never be broke! A mother & her daughters!” Leah’s questionable grammar prompted replies such as: “You’re an inspiration but please learn English… your bond will never be broken not broke.” “Try ‘a bond that will never be BROKEN’ moron” We won’t even bother to point out that both of those sentences contain grammatical or punctuation errors. But we will say you really need to chill, Internet commenters of the world. You’re making us defend Leah Messer , and that’s just not cool. Leah Messer: SLAMMED By Fans For Latest Video of Daughter Addie

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , you know that questionable parenting decisions are kinda Leah Messer’s thing. Whether she’s passing out while holding a child or rushing her daughters off to school without breakfast , raising kids often feels like a job that Leah’s not particularly well-suited for, but she’s kinda stuck with it now, ya know? Leah, has been very vocal about the fact that she believes she’s simply a victim of bad editing. But we’re not buying it, in large part because some of the most damning evidence about her incompetence as a parent comes straight from her own Instagram page. Check out her latest WTF?! moment: Leah Messer Records Video of Daughter While Driving Yes, despite the fact that she gets criticized every single time she records video with while driving, Leah persists in dong so – with her kids in the car, no less. “She is soo happy! Will post some pics of her swimming soon! She is the definition of PERFECTION! #MyBaby -FYI: My eyes stayed on the road the ENTIRE time, so try to be nice on the comments. Otherwise I will block you, k? thanks!” Sigh. That’s not how this works, Leah. You don’t get to post video of yourself doing something stupid and dangerous and make yourself magically immune to criticism by saying, “But don’t worry, I was totes safe about it!” And it’s not like she filmed herself exercising caution while sticking a fork in an electrical outlet. When you do dumb things behind the wheel, you’re not just endangering yourself, but also everyone around you, including the adorable little girl in the backseat.  “I’ve lost real people in my real life because of distraction while driving on the phone. I promise you it’s worth the wait until you’re not driving. Be safe, have fun with those babies,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “Please, if you love your children don’t text and drive/record and drive. It was a cute video but PULL OVER to record it. Your lives are precious, don’t put them at risk because you’re on your phone.” Believe it or not, there was a time not that long ago when no one carried a tiny computer in their pocket, and when they drove, they did so without sending messages to anyone or sharing videos with millions of people. There were fewer distracted driving accidents, but that was partially due to the fact that you just don’t go as fast when you’re propelling the car with your own feet, a la Fred Flinstone. Corey and Miranda Simms: We Are NOT Getting Divorced!

Corey Simms and Leah Messer didn’t work out, as you know if you watch Teen Mom 2 online , but he and Miranda Patterson are on solid ground. Despite rumors of a Corey and Miranda Simms divorce that were triggered by social media comments earlier this month, they’re fine.  Seriously. Like Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer, they are one of the rare Teen Mom couples you don’t have to worry about lately. Miranda and Corey were recently caught up in controversy after a Facebook account attributed to him referred to being a “single” dad. Luckily, it’s not true, and Miranda Simms took to Twitter to explain. “That most definitely is a Fake Facebook,” Miranda told her fans. “Corey and I have a private FB for only family & close friends!” In a second tweet days later, Miranda added, “Those rumors def aren’t true! We actually celebrated 3 years of marriage yesterday.” Bottom line: Whatever beef they have with Leah is one thing, and we likely haven’t seen the end of that, but as a couple, they’re golden. Miranda Simms Calls Leah Messer Out: I’m So Good To Your Girls! Almost lost in the shuffle amid Leah’s non-stop drama is the fact that Corey and Miranda became parents themselves fairly recently. Besides the twin girls he shares with Leah Messer, the couple are the parents of a daughter Remi, who just celebrated her first birthday. Don’t expect to see much of her on MTV going forward, though. Insiders say Corey was not a fan of the ongoing drama surrounding Messer and her alleged drug use playing out as it did on the air. “[Corey Simms] feels MTV did him dirty,” a friend explained. How so? Simms believed producers “let Messer off easy.” “He thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show [ Teen Mom 2] viewers, ‘This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is reality.'” “Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason,” the source claimed, and he scaled back on filming. Leah Messer: I Don’t Care if Corey Simms Dies! “[Corey] told producers what he thought about the situation, and said that he and Miranda would not film nearly as much as in past seasons.” As for his ex-wife, Leah Messer also slammed producers for what she felt was an unfair portrayal this season, so they have that in common. Then again, in her case it was a little more complicated. After all, she was taken to task repeatedly for perceived parenting fails as well as her handling of relationships with both of her ex-husbands. It’s a turbulent world out there for those Teen Moms.
