Previously we reported that Delicia Cordon and her best friend who was present during the incident had planned to sue McCoy for an undisclosed amount. Now details of the suit have been revealed. According to TMZ , Delicia Cordon, is demanding at least $10 million and her friend, Elizabeth Donald, is asking for at least $3.5 million for damages suffered in the July 10 incident. Both of the women believe McCoy masterminded the attack — in an attempt to retrieve expensive jewelry and evict Delicia — and therefore should be liable for any damages they suffered. The women say they were asleep when an assailant entered the home at around 3:00 AM WITHOUT forcible entry. Delicia then allegedly went to go check on her son when “the assailant chased Ms. Cordon back into the master bedroom and began to assault her by beating her in the face with a handgun.” Cordon claims the assailant held her at gunpoint and demanded specific articles of jewelry purchased by McCoy. She also says the assailant said that he KNEW McCoy. McCoy denied any involvement in the incident an hasn’t been charged with anything.

Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images Mac Miller’s Friends And Family Come Together For A Benefit Concert Mac Miller’s family just announced A Celebration of Life, a show that will benefit the newly launched Mac Miller Circles Fund (MMCF). “The support we’ve experienced is evident in this amazing line-up and is a testament to Malcolm’s incredible life,” Karen Meyers, Miller’s mother, said about the event in a press release on Tuesday. “His Father, brother, and I are beyond thankful to everyone who is working to make this concert happen along with every fan and every friend for continuing to support Malcolm and his vision. He was a caring, loving human with a smile that could light up the sky and a soul that was out to make the world a kinder place and the MMCF will continue to do just that.” Mac was close friends with some really great artists, so it’s no surprise that the lineup for this show is impressive. Those who attend will see performances from Travis Scott, Schoolboy Q, SZA, John Mayer, Action Bronson, Chance the Rapper, Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, and more. Tickets for the celebration of life, which is set for October 31 at the Greek in Los Angeles, will be available via the official MMCF site beginning this Friday, Oct. 5. The flyer for the show was designed by Mac’s brother, Miller McCormick. All of the net proceeds from tickets to the show will be given to the Mac Miller Circles Fund, which will be co-managed by Mac’s estate, family, an advisors board, and the 4 Strikes management team. Just recently launched following Mac’s passing, MMCF aims to help young people in underserved communities by giving them access to programming and additional resources centered on creativity and community building. Mac Miller died tragically on September 7 at his home in Studio City, California. Only one month prior, the rapper had released his fifth studio album Swimming , which featured two acts that are now on the bill for A Celebration of Life, Thundercat and John Mayer.
It’s been nearly a week since rapper Mac Miller passed away after suffering a drug overdose at his San Fernando Valley home. Though authorities have yet to determine Miller’s cause of death , all signs seem to indicate that he finally succumbed to the substance abuse issues that had plagued him throughout his life. Small amounts of powdery white substances believed to be drugs in the opioid family were reportedly found in Miller’s home. And a 911 call seemed to indicate that panicked friends of Miller were had little doubt as to the cause of his condition. The fact that he was not alone at the time of his death combined with the revelation that Miller had been dead for several hours before authorities arrived led to rumors that there would be an investigation as a result of possible foul play. For now, however, it looks as though police are treating Miller’s death as a tragic accident. “This is strictly a Coroner’s Office case at this time,” Sgt. Barry Montgomery, a spokesman for the LAPD , told Radar Online. “As far as we are concerned, we are not investigating it as a criminal activity.” Officially, the cause of Miller’s death is labeled as “deferred” pending the results of a toxicology report. Fans have expressed shock over the fact that there will be no investigation, as early reports about Miller’s final hours seemed to indicate a chaotic scene. And for many, the length of time between when the rapper died and when his body was found suggested criminal negligence. Witnesses told police that a group consisting mostly of young men was “coming in and out all night” in the hours before Miller’s death, breaking bottles and engaging in other destructive acts. Sources claim several people left the home in a hurry just before police arrived. “They seemed in a rush to go,” claimed one onlooker. Sadly, many who knew Miller best were not surprised by his tragic passing. Miller’s substance abuse issues were a major factor in his recent breakup with Ariana Grande , and she was one of many who implored him to get sober. On Wednesday, Miller’s body was shipped from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh so that he could be laid to rest in his hometown. Our thoughts go out to Mac Miller’s loved ones during this difficult time. TMZ broke the story … friends came over the night before Mac died to hang out, and we’re told they stayed until the early hours of Friday morning, Sept. 7. Mac’s body was found Friday around noon. We broke the story … Miller died of an apparent overdose at his San Fernando Valley home. Cops say no one has come forward claiming they saw Mac alive after Thursday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene, after someone at his home called 911, saying Mac wasn’t breathing and was unresponsive. The emergency dispatch call came in as “cardiac arrest,” but apparently that’s because the person who found him may not have realized he was already dead. The outlet adds that while drugs weren’t found, a small amount of white powder was located in the San Fernando Valley home. — Photo: Getty
Source: Randy Brooke / Getty Kanye West says a lot of things, especially on Twitter. Case in point, yesterday (Sept. 8), Yeezy tweeted that Watch The Throne 2 is on the way. The first Watch The Throne dropped in 2011 and featured the smash hit “N*ggas In Paris.” It was also recorded and released during a time when Yeezy and his big brother Jay-Z were on much better terms. Although both parties claim it’s all love, their relationship is clearly strained . Thus, a proper sequel to Watch The Throne has been in doubt. Then Yeezy tweeted: “throne2 coming soon.” That’s it, that’s all. Is it Watch The Throne 2 , or actually some ish called throne2 . Is Jay-Z involved? Does he remember sending that tweet? So many questions, but don’t hold your breath for any answers anytime soon. throne2 coming soon — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) September 8, 2018 — Photo; Getty
Source: Kevin Mazur/One Love Manchester / Getty If you fixed your face to say or type anything other than “my condolences” to Ariana Grande , you suck at life. The renowned singer and Mac Miller’s ex-girlfriend paid tribute to the late rapper by posting a photo. Grande published a black & white pic of Mac on Instagram. There was no caption, but it wasn’t necessary in order to get the sentiment. Unfortunately, fans aren’t able to chime in (at the time of this post it has been liked 8.7M times) since she had to disable the comments due to trolls blaming her for the rapper’s death reportedly by overdose . Like we already said, if you said anything of the sort, you suck at life. Ariana Grande and Mac Miller were a couple for about two years and although their split earlier this year wasn’t on the best of terms, she’s clearly hurting at the passing of a loved one. Fortunately, way more people came to Grande’s defence rather than condone petulant trolls. Rest In Power Mac Miller . — Photo: Getty
Just a couple of days ago, we heard the tragic news that rapper Mac Miller had passed away with all signs pointing to an overdose as the cause of death. It’s obviously been extremely hard on the people close to him — he’d been dealing with addiction for a long time, and he was only 26 years old. And despite the fact that they broke up back in May , Ariana Grande was still one of those people. When the couple split, Ariana wrote a statement on Instagram calling Mac “one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet.” “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us,” she continued. She explained that she still loved him, but “unconditional love … is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you.” She finished by telling him “I can’t wait to know and support you forever and I’m so proud of you!” It was a very sweet thing for Ariana to do, and Mac was, in turn, publicly supportive of her quick engagement to Pete Davidson shortly after their breakup. As of now, she hasn’t made a statement about his passing, but she did share a photo of him , presumably from their time together. And according to a new report from Us Weekly, she’s “absolutely heartbroken” about what happened. “Her entire family is in shock too,” a source claims . “They all grew close to Mac during his relationship with Ari.” “He was a huge part of her life, and they always shared such a special bond. She wanted nothing but positivity in Mac’s life after they broke up.” But even though Ariana was obviously a sweetheart about the breakup, and even though they were obviously on good terms, a lot of people can’t help but be awful. Several people have had the nerve to blame her for Mac’s death , because that makes sense, right? “Look I ain’t even even gon sugar coat it,” one of those people tweeted. “This is @ArianaGrande fault.” “Mac Miller was really killed by a heartbreak,” another person speculated. “Ariana and Pete really took him there don’t @ me. Love powerful. Ariana really a dangerous woman holy f-ck.” Some liked to put the blame on Ariana without directly putting the blame on her, like the person who wrote “I’m not saying that Ariana killed Mac, but the break up may have had a role in the death.” “Ariana Grande is in NO way to blame for Mac Miller’s death but when someone leaves you and is immediately with a new person … ya that sh-t hurts,” another one of those tweets read. And then there were the people who just got right to the point — one of those tweeted “It’s definitely Ariana Grande’s fault. F-ck that bitch.” The hate continued on Instagram, and it go so bad that Ariana had to disable comments on her account altogether because of the plentiful “it’s your fault” comments. Can you even imagine how rough that must have been? But on the bright side, a source who spoke with Hollywood Life says that Pete is doing his best to be there for her during this insanely difficult time. “Pete is amazing, he’s so solid, and he’s like, totally Ariana’s rock, her shoulder to cry on, support system, voice of reason, best friend, everything,” the insider claims. “Pete knows grief, he’s been through unmentionable horror and loss himself, and it doesn’t frighten him — he’s a real stand-up guy.” The source adds that “For all his goofy, comedian persona, he’s actually a super deep and sweet guy, he’s really empathetic, and he loves Ariana with every piece of his heart, all he wants to do is protect her as much as humanly possible.” As for all the unwarranted blame she’s getting on social media, the source says that “It’s bad enough that Ariana is suffering the trauma of losing somebody she cared deeply about, but then to be blamed for his death is just despicable.” “Pete is doing all he can to shield her from any poison and negativity.” The source also points out that “Mac had a lot of demons that he was battling and he struggled with addiction issues throughout his whole life pretty much so to try and lay the blame at Ariana’s feet is truly appalling.” “She’s just heartbroken.” Hopefully it’s true that Pete is doing all he can to take care of Ariana right now — again, we can’t imagine what she must be feeling. Kim Kardashian is getting confronted and called out left and right these days. First, as previously posted on The Hollywood Gossip, Kim will get into it big time with her own sister on this Sunday’s return episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Then, Tyson Beckford randomly went at the reality star on social media. Now, Kardashian is receiving some very deserved backlash by a pair of actress, Emmy Rossum and Stephanie Beatriz. The Shameless star and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star each attacked Kim online for the way she reacted over the weekend after her sibilings referred to her as very thin and even anorexic. In footage Kim herself filmed and shared, Kardashian can be heard thanking loved ones Khloe and Kendall for saying such things about her 119-pound figure. Here. See for yourself: Kim Kardashian: I Love Looking Anorexic! The Internet immediately blasted Kardashian for reacting in this way to talk of having an anorexic body (that is NOT a compliment, Kim)… … while Beatriz used a personal anecdote to help explain why this attitude is so dangerous. “Kim Kardashian saying what she weighs and her sisters complimenting her being so skinny is like eating my brain rn,” the 37-year-old wrote as a meme, adding: “There’s only one time in my life when I ever weighed 119 pounds. “It was right in the middle of a terrible relationship, and intense eating disorder, and I thought that I could be thinner and look even better.” Yes, there it is. One should not aim to be as skinny as Kardashians claims to be and one should most definitely not show gratitude for being called anorexic. It stes an awful example. Beatriz went on to note: “Everyone kept complimenting me on how I looked, and I felt desperate to stay at that weight. IT SUCKED.” Beatriz concluded by offering her support to others struggling with eating disorders, writing: “So if this sh-t b f-cking w you I GET IT. Try not to hurt yourself over it. I’ve been texting friends for support.” You tell ’em, Stephanie. After seeing Beatriz’s posts, Rossum chimed in some words of encouragement on her own Instagram Stories account. “@iamstephbeatz, I love you and I support you and you’re beautiful and strong and powerful and a creative bada** woman,” she wrote. Rossum had a lot more to add, though: “@iamstephbeatz, the only time I was 119 pounds is when I had MONO. On a magazine shoot everyone was ‘freaking out over how good’ I looked. I had lost 10 pounds and was gaunt and sick and felt faint… “It totally messed with my head. I love you and I’m with you.” Similar to Beatriz, Rossum concluded her Kim bashing with a larger message of hope for anyone struggling with body image issues. “You never know what someone is going through,” she wrote. “If you’re having a tough time with body image, I promise you’re beautiful and this feeling will pass. Today is just a moment. Practice some self-care and reboot. “Take a bath. Take a walk. Take a yoga class. Make a healthy nutritious meal and watch your favorite funny movie. Tomorrow is another day.” Yes, yes and yes. Is this really such a difficult role to fill, Kim? You have millions and millions of impressionable followers. Try being a positive role model for them for a change.
