The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 8 Recap: Who Is Dying?!

There’s only so long one side can have the upper hand in the war.  That was the biggest takeaway from The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 8 which picked up in the immediate aftermath of Negan’s team managing to overthrow the walkers at the Sanctuary.  Rick realized that there was about to be a whole lot of pushback from the villains, but before he got lost in his thoughts, Carol and Jerry conveniently picked up, and they got ready to find a way to save themselves.  Everyone in Alexandria had no idea that Negan managed to get the upper hand, so things seemed to be going well for them. That all changed when Negan showed up and started yelling expletives through a megaphone.  He told the Alexandrians to form a line outside their homes, and he would spare the person who was the sorriest about everything that happened.  He threatened to bomb their homes if they did not follow his orders, and destroy the whole compound. Maggie was worried about the Saviors being there because she knew they would not come in peace.  But Maggie knew straight away that something was not right when a tree was conveniently cut down to block the path back to the compound.  That’s when a group of Saviors appeared and made it known that Negan was back and in charge.  Carl sprung into action and tried to save all the Alexandrians he could because he knew that things were going to get worse with Negan back in power.  Carl said he wanted to be the one to die for the sins of the past, but things took a turn when the bombs started exploding, and everyone worried about what was coming next.  Dwight led a group of Saviors right to Daryl, Michonne, Tara, and Rosita, before turning the gun on his people to prove to the others he was the.  The same drama was playing out at the Kingdom, and Ezekiel set off an explosion to lay waste to the place before the villains could take up residence.  Maggie went into full-blown killer mode back at Hilltop and killed the Savior who had an answer for everything.  Dwight tried to get Daryl to keep him as part of the group, or he would be killed, but Daryl only took notice when Dwight revealed that Eugene was the one who saved the Saviors.  At the conclusion, Rick and Negan fought it out, but Rick realized it was too late and made off to meet with Michonne. The final portion of the episode found Carl being struck down with a zombie bite.  Yes, the kid is dying! View Slideshow: The Walking Dead Cast: Before They Were Stars…

E pisode 7, ‘Time For After’ leads into next weeks mid-season finale of The Walking Dead and primarily focuses on our favorite mullet wearing coward Euguene . Eugene and Negan Photo: Gene Page/AMC He is currently in a pickle, he has been tasked by Negan to fix the current dilemma of a shit load of walkers surrounding the Saviors’ compound. If he doesn’ fix the situation a lot of people are going to die and there is no guarantee he won’t be one of them. That’s not the only thing worrying poor Eugene, there is also the issue of learning about Dwight being AHK’s (Alexandria, Hilltop, and Kingdom) mole.  Eugene decides to pay a visit to Dwight trying to convince him to stop his quest to bring down the Negan and the Sanctuary. He tells Dwight he won’t snitch on him if he ceases his plan but Dwight was like…   Dwight is not about to stop cause he can smell Negan’s death coming and it’s something he’s been dreaming about for a very long time. Dwight does his best to try and convince Eugene to just sit on his hands and shut off his big brain and let the Sanctuary and Negan meet their doom. Eugene isn’t trying to hear it and tells Dwight that he is Savior and the mission is to save people. Dwight wasn’t the only person trying to get Dwight to do the right thing. Eugene also has a conversation with a very ill Father Gabriel , Negan’s drunk concubine Tanya and the doctor Harlen . Eugene and Father Gabriel Photo: Gene Page/AMC They all failed miserably, of course, we even see side of Euegen we have never seen before when he angrily tells Father Gabriel he is with Negan. Eugene puts his big brain to use after he finds the iPod he gave to Sasha in the casket she died and turned into a walker in. He creates a glider out of a kite and attaches the iPod and a speaker to blast out the music. The plan is to fly the glider over the herd of walkers to grab their attention and lure them away from the sanctuary. Before he can do that Dwight shows up to stop him. Dwight tells Eugene that if even attempts to go through with his plan he will shoot him. Eugene must have a grew a pair at this moment cause he sent the glider off. BUT instead of shooting him, Dwight decides to take out the glider instead and vanishes. Eugene has his chance to snitch on Dwight to Negan, but he clams up maybe because Dwight was there to scare him into not telling on him. Also at the same moment, Daryl , Michonne , Tara , Rosita , Morgan and other members are about to mess up Rick’s plans. Continued On The Next Page

The Walking Dead Season 7B: Pictures & Synopsis Released!

The Walking Dead Season 7 B kicks off in just a few weeks and we’re all dying to find out what’s going to happen next for our favorite group of survivors.  AMC has now released three promotional photos and a synopsis that sheds light on what will be coming in the final 8 episodes of The Walking Dead Season 7. When we left off in Season 7A, a large portion of the group reunited at Hilltop with the intention of finding a way to take Negan down… once and for all.  With the Saviors being such a big, complex group, all of our favorite characters are going to to need to keep their wits about them if they have any hope at surviving.  View Slideshow: 24 Shocking TV Deaths If you watch The Walking Dead online , then you probably knew that the show was gearing up for a war against the saviors and the official synopsis teases just that. Here’s the official scoop.  The first half of Season 7 saw Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the group broken by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), forced to fall under his will and brutally convinced to live under his rules. The second half of the season will focus on preparing for war and gathering the supplies and numbers to take Negan down once and for all. Rick’s group will find out yet again that the world isn’t what they thought it was. It’s much bigger than anything they’ve seen so far. While they have a singular purpose – to defeat Negan – it won’t come easy. More importantly, victory will require more than Alexandria. They need the numbers of the Kingdom and the Hilltop, but, similar to how Rick felt, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and Gregory (Xander Berkeley) do not want bloodshed. To convince them otherwise will take more than speeches. Watch The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 8 Online The lengths Rick and the group will have to go to in order to find weapons, food and new fighters is nothing short of remarkable. We’ll meet new survivors in incredible places. We’ll see Rick and the group tested in ways we’ve never seen before. We’ll see treachery from people we trust. Rick is confident as he will see his group and many others band together with the common goal of taking down Negan. But no amount of planning will prepare the group for all-out war with Negan and his army. It sure sounds like we’re in for a wild ride as we close out the season, but can we really get to the end without any more of our favorite characters dying? Probably not.  Either way, we’ll be along for the ride.  The Walking Dead returns Sunday, February 12, on AMC.  What do you think of the new details?  Sound off below! Suge Knight: Dr. Dre Tried to Kill Me!

Usually, Suge Knight is the one being accused of shocking acts of violence and generally gangster-y behavior, but these days the  imprisoned music mogul is claiming that one of the most famous names in hip hop tried to have him rubbed out. As you may recall, Suge was shot seven times in the abdomen at a BET Awards after-party in 2014. Despite the presence of 37 security cameras at the 1 Oak nightclub that night, no arrests were made. In a lawsuit filed today, Suge claims the assailant was a hitman hired by Dr. Dre. Knight is requesting $300 million in damages from Dre, but interestingly, he’s not suing for the attempt on his life. Rather, he claims he’s owed the money as a result of the massive amount of cash that the rapper and producer made from selling his Beats by Dre headphone line to Apple. Suge claims to have a lifetime management deal with Dre that entitles him to 30% of his entertainment earnings. Knight says Apple tried to cut him out of the deal, as the company understandably didn’t want to be associated with a guy who tried to kill Eminem , and probably did kill a whole bunch of other people. According to the allegations in the suit, Dre paid a man named T-Money (of course) to assassinate Suge so that he wouldn’t be around to mess up the Apple deal or try to claim his share. So why did Suge sit on this information for so long? Well, it seems he first tried to handle the situation himself, which always ends well. Suge is currently behind bars awaiting trial for the hit-and-run murder of Cle “Bones” Jones. Knight ran Jones over on the set of the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton last year. According to Knight’s suit – and this is where his allegations really get crazy – Jones was hired by Dre  and Universal, the studio that produced Compton , to murder Suge. Suge decided to do some murderin’ of his own in response, but now claims that he killed Jones accidentally. If you’re keeping score at home, that’s now two hits that Dre allegedly put out on Suge, both of them involving two of the biggest media corporations in the world. In addition to Dre, Knight is suing Apple, Universal, and Tam’s Burgers, the Compton restaurant in whose parking lot he ran Bones and another man over. Hopefully, all of this won’t scare a major studio from one day making a Suge biopic, because this man’s life needs to be a movie.

The Walking Dead Preview: A Slice of Season 7

The Walking Dead returned with a bang on Sunday night. Or, to be more precise, The Walking Dead returned with a bat on Sunday night. And that bat was slammed into the heads of two main characters, both of whom were killed off the show in very gruesome fashion. The Walking Dead Season 7: What’s Ahead? Rest in peace, Abraham. And rest in peace, Glenn. Both of these heroes lost their lives at the hands of Negan on The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 1 , with the drama’s most frightening villain to date making it very clear that he’s in charge. But don’t take our word it. Take the word of Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes. “Let me put this to all of you as clearly as I can,” he says in the extended preview above. “I’m not in charge anymore. Negan is.” Elsewhere in this trailer, we see Daryl getting shown the scary ropes of the Saviors’ territory by Dwight, as Negan makes another point clear: “I don’t think you get it yet,” he says. “You work for me.” Aside from the promo featured here, AMC also released a clip from next Sunday’s new installment, which is titled “The Well.” It features Carol on the mend in the Kingdom with Morgan, who tells his friend of the Kingdom leader: “He does his own thing.” “Uh, what does that mean?” she asks. The Walking Dead Clip: Welcome to The Kingdom The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere has received some backlash for just how violent it was, setting a new standard even for a show who has violence to thank for its immense popularity. Why did we need to see Glenn’s eyes pop out? Why did the camera need to linger on his lifeless body in such a manner? Explained director Greg Nicotero in a conference call with reporters today: “It was important to launch us into this season by showing the extent of what Negan is capable of doing, because that drives so much of where the series is going from here on in.” Moreover, to him Nicotero seeing Rick, “our hero, completely crushed… is more disturbing than the actual violence.” Some folks out there might disagree. Did YOU think the premiere was too violent? Did the series go too far on Sunday night? Yes, that was ridiculous! No, the show has always been violent. Whatever, I stopped watching ages ago. View Poll » Why did two people need to get killed off? “We really needed to drive Rick and Negan’s story throughout the season, and we felt that one death would do the trick, but the second death – Glenn’s death – really propels us into a very different direction,” Nicotero said, adding: [That second murder is] really about Negan laying down the law. So [it] has a lot to do with Rick’s future story, Maggie’s future story and certainly Daryl’s future story.” Interesting. You can use the following video to watch The Walking Dead online and see what the controversy was all about now: Watch The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 1 Online Response to the premiere has been less than positive, with fans upset over the blood, gore and violence… along with perceived manipulation of producers waiting until halfway through the hour to reveal Negan’s victims. What does Nicotero have to say to those who have threatened to stop watching? “Listen… I’ve been shocked at the turns of events on [Game of Thrones]. But you know what? I still love it. And I’m still committed to seeing where that story goes. “So I think it’s a kneejerk reaction that people have, because they care about these characters. That’s a tribute to every single actor on our show that has perished. “It’s unfortunate that people want to take a negative spin on it… [and especially] if that’s really what’s going to happen [and they’ll stop watching], because the show still has a lot to offer!” WILL YOU KEEP WATCHING THE WALKING DEAD?
