Jenelle Evans would like to set the record straight. The Teen Mom 2 star was rushed to the hospital a few days ago after getting into some kind of altercation with husband David Eason. This much is not up for debate. But what actually transpired between the couple? Did Eason really attack Evans, as Jenelle herself seemed to admit to on a 911 call ? Evans has spoken to E! News about the incident and done the best she can to explain where things stand between her and Eason. Scroll down to see what she has to say.. 1. How Did This Latest Controversy Start? On Saturday, October 13, Jenelle was taken to the hospital. This is not in dispute. The chief of 911 operations for Columbus County, North Carolina has said two police officers responded to a 911 call placed from the home of Evans and her husband David Eason. 2. What Else Do We Know About This Call? It was placed by a female just before 10 p.m. and was “called in as an assault,” the chief said for the record. An ambulance was also requested but later canceled. 3. Was Eason Involved? No, not according to a rep for Evans, who told People Magazine that the veteran MTV star “had friends over Saturday night and they had a bonfire on her property. Jenelle ended up tripping and falling by the fire.” 4. Oh… Really?!? This story seemed fishy from the beginning. To pretty much everyone. 5. Nothing to See Here… Except Hotness! Eason shared this photo of Jenelle shortly after the incident, including with it a tawdry caption and making it seem like all was fine between the couple. 6. But Here’s the Thing: Jenelle called 911. They’re both adults, but hooking up on vacation is very different from getting married. Fernanda’s youth definitely comes up, while Jonathan is learning to leave behind his bachelor lifestyle. 3. Ashley and Jay Ashley (32) and Jay (20) met while she was in Jamaica for a friend’s wedding. They struck up a conversation on social media afterwards, and then she went back to visit him again. He proposed to her after only 8 days. 4. But … On top of the age difference between these two, there are concerns by Ashley’s loved ones that Jay may be a cheater. He certainly seems crazy about Ashley, but is it love or lust? 5. Colt and Larissa on 90 Day Fiance Colt is a 33-year-old Las Vegas native who hasn’t had the best luck with the ladies. Then he met 31-year-old Larissa of Brazil on social media. They met up in Mexico, where Colt proposed after only 5 days together. 6. But … In the nicest terms possible, Colt has been single for so long for a reason. Part of that is that he is a grown man who is accustomed to being taken care of by his mother. M ore than two weeks have passed since a security guard killed an HBCU student for supposedly breaking into cars at an off-campus apartment complex parking lot in North Carolina. DeAndre Ballard, who was a senior at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham, was shot the night of Sept. 17, but that was pretty much the only fact that was established as local law enforcement has kept quiet about most other details protesters have been demanded ever since. However, a local news reporter tweeted that the 911 call, or calls, were not being released, even though it’s fairly customary to release them to the public under such controversial circumstances. Day 15 since #DeAndreBallard 's shooting: Durham police investigators have not released any details about the investigation, nor the 911 call(s) made that night. Police have only explained why they took days to identify Ballard. — Derrick Lewis (@DerrickQLewis) October 2, 2018 The frustrating development came one day after NCCU students coordinated a campus protest by walking out of class Monday morning to demand justice for their fallen 23-year-old classmate. The organizer of the walkout, Jamie Lyn Riggin, said she wanted to increase awareness to the shooting that hasn’t seemed to register a blip on the national media radar. “We don’t stand for things like this to continue to happen,” Riggin reportedly told the group of students who participated in the walkout. “We have pride here as Eagles, and if we are gonna soar, we are gonna soar as one,” she said, referring to the NCCU mascot. The company that still employs the security guard who killed Ballard has defended the deadly shooting by repeating a familiar refrain heard after shootings by law enforcement. “We fully, 100 percent stand by his actions because this was self-defense,” Kevin Ladd, vice president of the N.C. Detective Agency, told the Herald Sun . “In our eyes this is a tragic accident. It never should have gotten to this, but our officer was fearful for his life.” Ballard’s friends and family were adamant that breaking into cars was “out of character” for the physical education major. Students on Monday also questioned how sincere NCCU’s response to Ballard’s shooting was, seemingly trying to distance itself from the incident instead of sympathizing and empathizing. “The university is not associated with and does not have any contractual agreement with Campus Crossings, an independently-owned residential apartment complex,” NCCU said in a statement released Sept. 27. “The NCCU police department officers have no jurisdiction or connection with the Campus Crossings apartment complex nor with the security officer involved in the incident. NCCU does not endorse or recommend any specific rental property for students. Additionally, the university does not utilize the security services of the N.C. Detective Agency and does not hire any officers employed with this particular agency.” Ballard’s killing came amid a spate of violence on or near HBCU campuses. A man was killed Friday near the campus of Southern Universty in Baton Rouge. One day earlier, a Morehouse College student was carjacked and robbed of his belongings near the school’s campus in Atlanta. Three Florida A&M University students had a gun pulled on them in an elevator at an off-campus apartment building in Tallahassee on Sept. 10. Last week, Hurricane Florence did some real damage to the Carolinas. And since Jenelle Evans lives near the coast of North Carolina, she definitely felt some of that damage. She's been tweeting and Facebooking and Instagramming about everything that's been happening down in her neck of the woods, and it honestly sounds horrible. But one of her most recent posts has a lot of people furious with her. Let's get into the details! 1. Fair At this point, it feels pretty safe to say that Hurricane Florence has really thrown Jenelle for a loop. 2. Kick It, Y’all When the storm was just getting started, she shared photos of Kaiser playing outside in the rain and proudly declared that they were “kickin’ this storm’s butt.” 3. What Hurricane? Then, when she lost power at her house, she shared another picture of Kaiser, this one with him inside holding a lantern, and she honestly used a “What Hurricane?” hashtag. 4. Not So Fun Things only got real for her when a dam broke in her mother’s neck of the woods and she began her third day without power. 5. Insane “This is insane,” she tweeted. “Lots of rain, flooding, washed out roads, broken dams, falling trees killing people, tornados, dolphins in the streets, sharks on highways, alligators running around, and wild snakes outside swimming. What else can go wrong?” 6. Wrong! She quickly learned what else could go wrong, because even though she said she and David Eason had been prepping for the storm, they apparently ran out of food and gas, as she revealed in a now deleted tweet. Cole Starts Hurricane Relief Fund Following record-breaking rainfall, flooding rivers, and mass power outages wrought by Hurricane Florence–which made landfall in North Carolina last Friday, September 14– J. Cole has just launched a storm relief fund through his nonprofit, Dreamville Foundation. The foundation is currently soliciting donations on its website and is set to target its relief efforts in Cole’s hometown of Fayetteville, N.C. Mandatory evacuations have impacted thousands of households, who were ordered along the Cape Fear River, which runs through the city and remains in major flood status, according to the National Weather Service. The Fayetteville Observer has reported that three deaths in the city’s surrounding Cumberland County may be attributed to Florence. “The Dreamville Foundation is looking to lend a helping hand to the community, children, and families affected by Hurricane Florence,” reads the announcement from the fund. “There will be hot food stations placed throughout the city, temporary housing options for families, and stocking of food pantries/shelters, as well as supporting other local non profits who help provide services for the people in Fayetteville.” The rapper is currently traveling through North America on his K.O.D. Tour. His first ever Dreamville Festival was scheduled to take place in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina earlier this month, but was cancelled due to safety concerns related to the storm. Before the event was forced to be cancelled, a portion of proceeds from the festival were intended to benefit Cole’s nonprofit. Those who want to contribute to the cause can donate to J. There was a time when Hurricane Florence seemed poised to lay waste to Charleston, before the storm pivoted to pummel North Carolina’s eastern half and drench the rest. Charleston still received its fair share of rain, but disgraced Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel didn’t weather the wind and downpour alone. Remember when he and Ashley Jacobs broke up a month ago? It didn’t take — and they waited out Florence together. RadarOnline reports that Ashley and Thomas are back together , and that they weathered the storm as a couple. “Ashley spent the whole weekend with Thomas while the hurricane hit around them,” an insider revealed to the tabloid. Though there have been reports of Ashley and Thomas secretly hanging out , it sounds like this was more than just friends surviving together. The source announces: “They are back together now!” Well … that’s not the worst news to come out of this storm. We’ll say that much. Why, after breaking up and Thomas accusing Ashley of cheating , are they back together? Apparently, this is Thomas’ doing. “Thomas has never been able to fully break up with Ashley,” the insider explains. Sometimes, people just have the right chemistry — sometimes literally, as pheramones play a huge rule in attraction — and get their hooks into each other. That’s why some exes can haunt you for years. To hear the source tell it, “he just can’t give up on her.” The insider goes on to say that Thomas remains crazy about Ashley “even though he was so mad she was dating other people.” HonestlY? Those of us who live in the state have been recoiling at videos of interstates so submerged that they resemble rivers. Ashley continues: “I want to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts and messages this week.” “Thinking of all those affected by hurricane Florence,” Ashley’s post concludes. “Continuous prayers your way.” Though Ashley had wondered who would date her after seeing her antics on Southern Charm , it’s clear that there’s more to this rekindled romance than desperation. Ashley saw something in Thomas that made her pack up her whole life and move across the country after only five dates. Whatever that was, it’s enough to make her support him even after multiple women accused him of sexual assault. Thomas’ own friends and co-stars tried to discourage Ashley by pointing out how unfairly he was treating her, but … some people keep going back.
