Outside of her classic The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album, she has released rap tunes and Unplugged performances to get fans through life. Which is why it can be so disappointing when her shows take a turn for the negative. For example, Lauryn has already canceled several dates on her Miseducation 20th Anniversary Tour, including her Wednesday show in Charlotte, North Carolina, her Thursday show in Raleigh, her Sunday show in St. Petersburg, Florida, her August 2 show in Jacksonville, Florida, and her August 17 show in Bristow, Virginia. According to Tampa Bay Times , her Tuesday, July 31 date in Miami has been rescheduled to October 15, while her July 5 concert in Virginia Beach has been pushed back to August 15, according to The Virginia Pilot . Live Nation said the canceling and rescheduling was due to “unforeseen production issues.” All of this comes just days after a tragic show in Toronto where L Boogie was over an hour late and only performed for 45 minutes (for what was supposed to be a nearly two hour set). So disappointed in the Lauryn Hill concert tonight. Made fans wait over an hour and then performed for 45 mins max. Could barely recognize the songs she attempted to sing. Cash grab for sure. Is Jenelle Evans the worst mother on all of Teen Mom? Could be, yeah. She definitely has some competition in a franchise that also includes the likes of Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham, but she’s the only one who’s been investigated by CPS this month , so … Anyway, the point is that Jenelle is just not all that great at parenting, and she’s proved that many, many times over the years. Remember when she had Jace and told her friends that having a baby was like being in jail, and then she said that she thought it’d be OK if she went out and partied all night because her newborn would be sleeping anyway? Or when she signed over custody of Jace to her mom so she could smoke weed with Kieffer and get arrested a ton? That kind of stuff happened eight years ago, but there are plenty of examples from this year to choose from as well. For instance, all those child abuse allegations against Jenelle’s husband, David Eason. Look, we could spend days going over all the horrible, awful things Jenelle has done as a parent — literal days, probably — but let’s just get down to business and talk about this new thing, all right? Because this new thing Jenelle’s doing to fail at parenthood is illegal and also potentially life-threatening. See, last year, before the swamp started eating her house , Jenelle decided to get a pool. She’s shared a lot of pictures of it since then, and it does look pretty fun. The kids seem to enjoy it, which is nice, considering everything else that allegedly goes on out there. But there is an issue: she’s never put a fence around the pool. Her social media followers have been hounding her about this oversight ever since the pool came to be, so much that she’s actually commented on it. All the way in September, she tweeted that “of course” she’d put a fence around it, with “a pull lock like at public pools.” She added that “To get your permit approved for your pool you have to get a fence, also to protect wildlife.” And yet here we are, nearly a year later, and does the pool have a fence? You know good and well it does not. This issue has been getting more attention lately, probably because Jenelle’s been posting more photos and videos featuring the pool now that it’s summertime. Like this one, where you can clearly see that there’s no fence: On that photo, she received comments like “Y’all need a fence around the pool b4 a child drowns idiots” and “I would rather fence in my pool than bury my child but I guess that’s bc I’m logical.” One person advised her to “Put a safety fence up around that pool or just like that an accident with those children can happen in Another pointed out that “She doesn’t even know the first thing about carseat safety, why would she care about her kids drowning?” Believe it or not, while Jenelle has tons and tons of haters , she also has some fans, and those people tried to defend her by saying she does have a fence around the yard — you can see it in the background. It’s true, the fence is obviously there, but it fences in the entire backyard, so the kids can still go outside and directly to the pool. And according to North Carolina state law, that’s simply not good enough. Radar Online reached out to someone from the North Carolina building codes department, and that person confirmed that, legally speaking, you have to block off your pool. According to the law, any kind of outdoor pool is required to have a barrier that meets certain standards. There are lots of specific measurements that barrier must have — it has to be a certain height and in a certain position, that kind of thing. But since Jenelle doesn’t have any barrier at all around her pool, that means she’s breaking the law. Will anything come from this? Probably not. After all, Jenelle’s done heroin, abused animals, and stolen her mother’s credit cards all on national television, and she’s never even been in jail. Rich The Kid’s Wife And Girlfriend Tori Brixx Bicker Over “Set-Up” Rich The Kid’s wife Antonette Willis is giving her two cents on her husband’s attack and hospitalization …and she has a very definite theory on who’s responsible for the entire fiasco. She seems to feel pretty strongly that Tori Brixx, the woman he’s been seeing on the side and whose house he was pistol-whipped and beaten bloody inside of, had a hand in making sure the incident went off without a hitch. She’s screaming set-up, and claims that if she catches Tori in the streets…it’s over for her. Tori immediately took to her IG Live explaining the situation from her point of view, sporting some pretty nasty facial bruising in the process. She says not only is she NOT a mistress in this situation, but she definitely did not set up her boyfriend to get beaten and robbed. Yikes. If this was a set up, it seems a little counterproductive to get yourself, your sister, and you dog equally beaten and messed up in the process, don’t you think?? Also we’re not sure what reason Tori would have to set Rich The Kid up…but stranger things have definitely happened. Of course, the back and forth wasn’t over there. This Black Panther Prosthetic Leg Is Really One-Of-A-Kind When North Carolina -based tattoo artist Milton Purnell was asked to makeover a young boy’s prosthetic leg, he took some inspiration from Black Panther . It’s clear from the video, posted by Purnell on Facebook and later shared elsewhere, that his work was incredibly appreciated. The heart-warming visual shows the artist presenting a young boy with his brand new, one-of-a-kind prosthetic leg–which ultimately results in a happy dance and disbelief. Everyone in the room is in awe over the boy’s excitement, and you’ll gush over how endearing his reaction is to his personalized new piece of hardware.
Just yesterday, we learned that Javi Marroquin is dating Lauren Comeau , a Maine native and South Carolina resident whom he reportedly met through a mutual friend. It seems as though the relationship is in its early days, but it also seems that both parties are very, very into it. Javi gushed about Lauren in a recent interview with Radar Online, and now she’s following suit. Lauren spoke to the site today, and while she appears to be just as giddy as Javi, she’s also not in denial about the unique difficulties of their relationship. Comeau seems to have no plans of leaving South Carolina, and with a young son and a cushy reality TV gig, we doubt Javi will be moving relocating outside of Delaware any time soon. That means that in addition to the challenges of Javi being a reality star with an even more famous ex, Marroquin and Comeau are dealing with the difficulties presented by a long term relationship. “Distance isn’t ever easy,” Comeau told Radar. “But we have a lot planned and busy schedules in between so I think we’ll handle it well.” Comeau also opened up about the unusual way in which she and Javi met. It seems a mutual friend introduced them online and they communicated for several weeks before meeting in person at a recent wedding. “We connected through a mutual friend in Delaware and finally got to meet at a recent wedding,” she said. “We clicked instantly, and just really enjoyed each other’s company. I’m excited to see what happens.” Javi seemed equally optimistic in his own interview: “This one feels right,” he told Radar. He recently posted a photo of himself with Comeau, along with the following caption: “Sometimes I wish I can go back in life, not to change sh-t just to feel a couple things twice.” Both parties say they’d like to “take things slow,” but we think their actions are speaking louder than their words. Let no one say the police in Asheville, North Carolina don't know how to have a good time. As you'll find out in the fun story below, a couple officers in this city were called on July Fourth to investigate an unusually long and allegedly illegal Slip 'N Slide. When they arrived on the scene, however, these badge-wearing heroes didn't place anyone under arrest. Instead, they placed themselves on a tube and had some fun… 1. Let’s Set the Scene A neighbor called 911 after spotting a giant Slip ‘N Slide down the street, seemingly blocking traffic. 2. The Cops Dutifully Showed Up and Investigated But they didn’t shut down the activity… they joined in! 3. WHEEEEE! “We looked at it and determined it wasn’t really an issue,” said senior officer Carrie Lee, as a neighbor captured the unexpected play time on video and then shared it on Facebook. 4. There She Goes! “The first thing I said, I said I’m not here to break up your fun,” Lee said, explaining how she and her partner then decided to partake in the fun. 5. Making Friends, Having Fun Katlen Joyce Smith’s Facebook footage of these awesome shenanigans has been viewed nearly 165,000 times. 6.
