Teresa Giudice: My Daughter Gia’s All Grown Up … and Going to Prom!

There’s nothing like your firstborn’s major life milestones. Even reality TV moms get excited when their daughter goes to prom. They look so lovely together and, even with all of that makeup, you can tell that they’re mother and daughter. They, of course, being Teresa Giudice and her 16-year-old daughter, Gia Giudice.  Teresa could barely contain her excitement and pride over Instagram, and it’s no wonder — Gia looks absolutely stunning. The fact that Teresa spent some time behind bars clearly only means that she cherishes time with her children that much more. And yes, that’s enough on Gia that it doesn’t necessarily look flattering for her features. But that’s what everyday makeup is for.  Gia can look like a gorgeous teenager on each and every other day of the year. This is prom season and it’s time for her to look however she likes. She gets to shine in a room full of her friends and peers who are also dressed and made up to shine. In this case, for Gia, that means looking like some kind of fairy princess whose face sparkles beautifully match her dress. At a dance’s lighting, she’s going to look positively celestial . You know, they make an adorable couple. And they’re young, so we’re gonna limit our eye-rolling over Nick’s super-short hair. Frankly, a lot of high school kids are still getting whatever haircut their parents order for them. Also, if there’s one thing that we know about straight couples, is that height differences are all the rage. As in, studies have shown that greater height differences tend to lead to longer-lasting relationships, which sounds like the fakest thing ever. Just because it sounds fake doesn’t mean that it isn’t real, though. And women do seem to swoon over height, so good for Gia for landing Nick, since he’s clearly a good head taller than she is. Teresa Giudice’s had a rough go of it at times, what with various legal troubles . What people maybe didn’t consider is how much that would take away from time with her children. It’s good that she’s taking this time to connect with her daughter. It’s also adorable that she’s basically just gushing about her on social media. This is a woman who’s been absolutely over-the-top on television before, so it’s nice to see her doing something so normal and healthy.

Emma Watson: I Can Be a Feminist AND Have Boobs!

Emma Watson is a gift to this world that we don't deserve. Not even a little bit. She came to us so many years ago as the intelligent, courageous, nerdy but lovably Hermione Granger, and she hasn't disappointed us once in all this time. One of the most admirable things about Emma is that for the past couple of years, she's been a loud and proud feminist — so much so that she's spoken at the United Nations about feminist issues. Her fight for women's rights is actually one of the most notable things about her these days. So when she posed topless for Vanity Fair, some people felt the need to talk trash about her . One journalist tweeted “Emma Watson: 'Feminism, feminism… gender wage gap… why oh why am I not taken seriously… feminism… oh, and here are my tits!'” Because to some, Emma can't be a feminist and have visible breasts at the same time. Luckily, Emma has heard about the controversy surrounding the photo shoot, and she's taking the time to speak out about it. And what she has to say is simply delightful. “Feminism is about giving women choice,” she explained. “Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with. Tommy Page Dies; Pop Star and Music Exec Was 46

Tommy Page, the pop star and music executive best known for his 1992 hit “I’ll Be Your Everything,” has passed away. He was just 46 years old. A spokesperson for Billboard Entertainment Group broke the news in a statement issued to several media outlets: “We are all mourning the loss of our friend and colleague, Tommy Page,” the statement reads. “He was a magnetic soul and a true entertainer.” The death is being reported as a “suspected suicide.” Page’s fame peaked in the early ’90s, when “I’ll Be Your Everything” reached number one on the US charts and spent 13 weeks in the top 40. In 1992, at the height of his popularity, Page played himself on an episode of Full House that’s fondly remembered by fans of the show. He went on to record nine studio albums. After reaching the heights of pop stardom when he was barely out of his teens, Page earned a degree in business from New York University. He spent most of his adult years as a highly-regarded executive at several influential record labels. During his time at Warner Bros. he helped manage the careers of Michael Buble, Alanis Morissette, Josh Groban and Green Day, among others. In 2011, Page joined Billboard magazine as an associate publisher and was promoted to publisher within a year. At the time of his death, Page also worked as vice president at Pandora and senior vice president at Cumulus Media. Page frequently collaborated with the New Kids on the Block, two of whom received co-writing credits on “I’ll Be Your Everything.” The members of the iconic boy band took to social media to share memories of Page after news of his death went public: “#TommyPage: I remember his same genuine smile he have every time you saw him. A very sad loss. #riptommypage,” former New Kid Joey McIntyre tweeted. Donnie Wahlberg paid tribute to Page by posting the photo below: “Recording ‘I’ll Be Your Everything’ w @jordanknight and #tommypage in ’89! Special memories. Great times. #RIPTommyPage,” he captioned the image. Countless other musicians and industry insiders paid tribute to Page, including pop star Debbie Gibson, who wrote: “Devastated over the loss of my friend Tommy Page. Teresa Giudice Makes Heartbreaking Statement on Mother Antonia Gorga’s Death

It’s been a sad weekend for the Real Housewives of New Jersey crew. Antonia Gorga, mother of Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga, has passed away after battling an unknown illness. She was only 66 years old. We still don’t know exactly what happened to Antonia, but we do know that her family is devastated by the loss, which is obviously huge. Teresa shared the above photo on Instagram, and the caption she wrote is enough to break your heart. “She will forever be missed and cherished in my heart!” she said. “Because of her I will find the strength to continue life’s jourtney. My mother, my confidant, my best friend, my everything.” “Until we meet again … I love you mommy.” She also shared a photo of Antonia, her children, and her grandchildren, writing “I miss my mommy so much.” In another, she wrote “Always there for us & forever in our hearts.” She even shared this collage of photos: Along with the photo she said “Thank you for the love and support during this extremely difficult time. My mother was a very cherished part of our family and she’ll be deeply missed.” “Each and every one of your messages of love & support are so appreciated.” “Give her eternal rest O Lord and may your light shine on her forever,” Teresa finished. But Teresa wasn’t the only one mourning Antonia. Her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga , shared a photo of her own and wrote “May she Rest In Peace.” “She was a beautiful woman who loves her children & grandchildren so immensely! I watched Joe & Teresa sit by her side for the last three months, the heart in this family is strong & she will live in our hearts forever.” Teresa’s fellow Real Housewife Jacqueline Laurita even shared a thoughtful message on Instagram, which is notable since Teresa and Jacqueline have had their issues in the past . “Tenderly may time heal your sorrow. Gently may friends ease your pain. Softly may peace replace heartaches. And my warmest memories remain,” her message read. Another housewife, Amber Marchese, tweeted “A beautiful lady. Tom Cruise Girlfriend: Who the Heck is She?!?

Tom Cruise loves Scientology.  This is not a press-stopping statement, as the actor recently came out and referred to the religion as special and beautiful . But a new report claims Cruise finds something else special and beautiful as well. Or someone else, we ought to say: yup, Tom Cruise has a girlfriend! And it’s allegedly serious! According to Us Weekly, Cruise has been “romancing a British woman” for several months. He is yet to jump on any talk show’s couch about her, so not many details about the relationship or the Tom Cruise girlfriend are known at the moment. Heck, we’re not even sure of her name. But the tabloid claims that Cruise and this unidentified new lover early met in London in early June when he was filming The Mummy. The two reportedly went on a date at that time to Bourton-on-the-Water, an idyllic village in the Cotswolds, two hours outside the city Of course, some Tom Cruise critics may have difficulty believing this story. It is a long-held stance by many that Cruise only dates women selected for him by The Church of Scientology. There’s been talk of girlfriend auditions and plenty of chatter over how his entire marriage to Katie Holmes was a set-up. But this Us Weekly cover story would have us believe otherwise. It claims that Cruise’s British girlfriend is “very normal and pretty” and has taken to living with the Jack Reacher: Never Go Back star at his rental cottage on the outskirts of London. “They go on bike rides through the countryside. Sometimes Tom’s sister would join them,” an anonymous insider tells the magazine. That sounds very sweet. But are you buying it? Cruise is very public when it comes to selling his movies and promoting them on various talk shows. He’s happy to discuss his professional life. But good luck trying to get him open up about anything personal, such as whether he’s seen Suri any time in the last three years . It’s been over four years since Cruise split from Katie Holmes and this Us Weekly source says he is eager to make his latest romance last. “He’s serious about this relationship and wants to make it work,” claims the tabloid insider. “Tom wants some companionship.” Awww! That’s so sweet! Also pretty sad and sort of scary if the Church of Scientology really is playing any kind of role in Cruise’s love life. But still. There’s something sweet about a mega superstar such as Tom Cruise just wanting someone to go on a bike ride with, isn’t there? And there’s something hilarious about Cruise recreating scenes from his many iconic movies alongside James Corden on television. Teresa Giudice Defends Donald Trump, Slams Accusers

Did you need another reason to hate Teresa Giudice? Was her bankruptcy fraud not enough? The whining about her life? The self-centered attitude? The lack of self-awareness? The mind-numbingly spoiled behavior she displays at every opportunity? That’s okay. This Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member has now given critics plenty more ammunition. Speaking to Extra on Tuesday night in New York City, Giudice defended spoke out in favor of Donald Trump. This might be acceptable * if she was a fan of his economic policies … or believed he could best defeat ISIS … or simply thought Hillary Clinton was too corrupt to hold the highest office in the land. ( * Who are we kidding? Trump is a lying, dangerous, wildly ignorant bigot; there’s no acceptable reason to vote for him.) However, Giudice did not defend the GOP nominee against any attacks against his policy positions. She defended Trump against accusations that he has committed sexual assault or sexual harassment on numerous occasions. Asked about the multitude of women who have made these claims in recent weeks, Giudice said the following to the entertainment program: “I mean, I don’t understand, why come out with it now? Why didn’t they come out with it when it happened?” She added: “If a man touched me, I would come out with it right away. “I wouldn’t wait till he was trying to be President and then come out with it. When people come out [saying that], they only want their 15 minutes of fame.” SIGH . Must we really go over this again? Of course Giudice would say this. First, it’s easy to simply say this. Try experiencing actual sexual assault, Teresa. Second, Giudice is rich and entitled and has absolutely no idea what it might be like for a woman to be neither of these things; and to then be inappropriately touched by a powerful millionaire. Third, what if these women did wait until Trump was trying to be President? What if the incidents took place many years ago, but the alleged victims didn’t think it would be worth the disruption of their personal lives or professional lives to bring allegations against someone as powerful as Trump back then? What if they feared no one would believe them? That they would suffer the sort of insults and mockery that Trump has become known for? But now Trump is seeking to actually become President – and they think it’s maybe worth sharing their stories in order to prevent such a hideous human being from having his finger on the nuclear codes? Would that be so bad? Would that not actually be admirable, especially when none of these women has actually filed a lawsuit or sought any money or pose for any tabloid covers? So, naturally, he must be a good person, right?!? Those who watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online are well aware that Giudice simply sucks as a person. But it’s eye-opening for the rest of us to see such idiocy on full display. The important (and hilarious) thing here is that Giudice cannot even vote on November 8 because she remains on supervised release after her prison stint. Not that she’s even brave enough to claim she would vote for Trump. “I think they’re both great,” she told Extra of Clinton and Trump. “May the best person win.” Fortunately, based on every respected poll out there, it looks like she will.

Joe Giduice is currently serving a 41-month sentence in prison for at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey.  He has been in the inside since March and it’s becoming increasingly apparent that he is not having the best time of it. Then again, would anyone actually enjoy prison?  Giudice is away from his wife and children. That’s got to sting a little.  Missing your kids growing up is a horrible punishment for anyone, but it’s his own fault for breaking the law.  “It’s worse than anyone expected,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly.  Teresa got out of prison in December last year, returning to her family just in time for the Christmas.  This also meant she could resume her duties on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.  Another source claimed that Joe “misses his kids so badly,” adds another insider. The source even alleged that Joe grew closer than ever to daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana while Teresa was holed up in prison.  “He got so close with them when he was with them alone.” That much was all but a given. Going from a two parent family to a one parent one would not have been an easy task, but it sure sounds like he went above and beyond to make sure his daughters were okay.  “He’s having difficulty being away from them.” Joe “sits alone much of the time and is falling into a depression,” says the friend. However, it’s not all doom and gloom for the reality TV star.  “Joe has two friends he plays cards with,” says the source. “They gamble with commissary items.” Being in prison, Joe couldn’t quite keep eating junk food.  Instead, he’s been turning his attention to keeping fit and shedding some weight.  If you watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online , you’ll know there was a lot of tension between Joe and Teresa before he entered prison.  Well, that’s what the producers would like you to believe.  The scene was so obviously doctored that we’re surprised it made it to the broadcast of the episode.  Have a look at the scene: Teresa Giudice vs. Joe Giudice: See Their Fake Fight! Matt Damon Drops By Emmys, Hilariously Taunts Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel watched someone else walk away with an Emmy for Best Variety Talk Series last night. That, however, wasn't where the pain of loss ended. As John Oliver and his colleagues exited stage left, Kimmel's “nemesis,” Matt Damon casually entered stage right, munching on an apple and looking to shoot the breeze. “Terrific,” Kimmel deadpanned as he saw the Oscar winner stroll up to him. “Can I help you?” he asked a smirking Damon. “What do you want?” “Just calm down, man,” Damon said, his mouth full of apple. “I missed the last category.  Did you win?” he asked Kimmel. “No, we didn't win, alright?” “Oh, that's a bummer. It makes a lot of sense, but…you must be really bummed out.” “Yeah, we're a little disappointed, thank you.” “So, you're not going to get a trophy.” “No, I don't get a trophy, then,” Kimmel said.  ” Are you finished?  You done?” “Wait, who did get a trophy?  Who won?” Damon asked. “John Oliver. He was just out here. What do you mean…” “Yes! Yes!” Damon said as the audience cheered. “They know,” he added, pointing out into the crowd. “And I knew.  I had him in my pool.” “Do you mind if I continue with the show,” a ticked off Kimmel asked. Damon relented and told his frenemy he'd see him at the after party. “There's an after party?” Kimmel asked. Ooh.  Awkward. “Hey Jimmy.  Tell your mom, 'I like them apples,” Damon said as he walked off stage, referencing a line from Good Will Hunting . Kimmel's mom had made about 7,000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the audience last night. Kimmel assumed that some people were hungry since they “hadn't eaten since Labor Day,” so Mrs. Kimmel packed sandwiches, juice boxes and apples for everyone. Damon and Kimmel have this skit up for 11 years, and it still isn't old.  Last night's might have been the funniest yet, though their interactions in the past – most recently “Couples Therapy” – are pretty damn good. It started on the third episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! , the talk show host himself told NPR in 2013. “We had a bad show. … The guests were bad, and I was feeling pretty bad about myself at the end of the program,” Kimmel recalled. “And I decided to say, for the amusement of one of our producers who was standing next to me … ‘I want to apologize to Matt Damon. We ran out of time.’ … And he got a kick out of it, the producer, so I just started doing it every night to amuse him.” From there, it led to an appearance by a very unamused Damon, to Sarah Silverman's “I'm F—ing Matt Damon” music video, and soon became a recurring segment of the show.
