As reported last night, Jessa Duggar gave birth to her first child on Thursday afternoon, finally becoming a mother after 40-plus weeks of posting photos of her ever-expanding state on Instagram. Husband Ben Seewald then shared a picture of his newborn online this morning, only to follow it up a few hours later with an update concerning child and mother. “Our sweet baby boy was born last night. He weighed 9 lbs and 11 ounces and is 21 1/4 inches long!,” Ben wrote on www.theseewaldfamily.com. “He’s precious and both he and Jessa are doing great.” Glad to hear it! Especially concerning that weight and that length. Holy hugeness, Jessa! We’re relieved to hear you are holding up okay after such a delivery. As for the little one’s name? Ben knows fans are curious. But that doesn’t mean he’s prepared to satisfy that curiosity just yet. “Stay tuned – we will share his name soon,” Seewald wrote online. In light of another Duggar family member entering the world, Jessa’s brother-in-law Derick Dillard and her sister Jill Dillard congratulated the couple on Friday. “Congrats to Jessa and Ben on the birth of their baby boy!” Derick wrote on Instagram, adding: “y’all are great parents already! May you raise this little guy in the love and admonition of our Lord. #congrats #newparents #newnephew #prouduncle.” Jill Duggar, who gave north herself to a boy named Israel , shared a celebratory message of her own on social media, keeping it short, simple and enthusiastic: “Yay! So excited for @jessaseewald and @ben_seewald.” According to TLC insiders, new baby boy will be a focal point on Counting On, the network’s upcoming series of specials featuring Jessa and sister Jill and where their lives are now. The R&B thickums revealed that she’s kept in touch with Ja Rule over the years and even says she’s rooting for him to make a comeback once he gets out in July. via The Grio Days ago, reports surfaced that the 36-year-old rapper Ja Rule left a state prison in central New York after serving most of his two-year sentence for illegal gun possession and has been placed in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center with an expected July release date. Ashanti revealed that she has remained in touch with Ja Rule throughout his jail sentence. “I have written letters. We’ve communicated…we’ve written each other letters,” she said. “I’ve sent cards and things like that.” Regardless of Ja Rule’s criminal record Ashanti believes that once released from jail, the rapper can make more hit music and top the charts once again. “I think Ja Rule is super duper talented. When I got into the studio with him… and just his melodies, his lyrics, and how he puts a record together and how he can make it catchy. So many people have… I don’t want to say copied… but Ja has a swag that a lot of people came in after him doing. So I definitely think that Ja has what it takes to make a hit record.” When asked if she has plans to collaborate with Ja Rule after he is released from jail Ashanti confessed, “we probably will.” Uhhhhhh…..it’s nice of Ashanti to support her homie and everything, but we’re good on a throwback Murder Inc collabo in 2013. Charlie Sheen is officially headed back to television. FX has picked up Anger Management , outbidding two other networks for a series that will feature Sheen as a therapist with a short temper and will be based on the 2003 movie that starred Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler. Anger Management Trailer The sitcom will premiere with 10 episodes next summer, with FX already agreeing to 90 more if ratings are strong. “We think that Bruce Helford, Joe Roth and Charlie Sheen have come up with a wonderful, hilarious vehicle for Charlie’s acting talents – and a character we are very much looking forward to seeing him play,” says John Landgraf, President and General Manager of FX Networks. ” Two and a Half Men has been an outstanding component of FX’s schedule for the past 14 months, and we have every confidence that Anger Management will soon be as well.” This will mark the actor’s first gig since he was fired by CBS for being positively insane . Jake Pavelka, Danielle Staub, Heidi Montag and other reality alumni are all going into the food business together for an upcoming series that places some big personalities under heavy pressure, us has learned. On the show, the cast will be tasked with opening a restaurant in just 28 days.

In the new drama Holy Rollers , Bartha still plays support to Jesse Eisenberg, but through his role as the debauched Hasid who lures Eisenberg into a life of drug running, Bartha gives the movie its jittery intrigue. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old actor has the lead in Stanley Tucci’s Broadway musical Lend Me a Tenor , and though he was gone for most of the first Hangover , he’s due to have an expanded role in the second.
