So much for those Kylie Jenner and Tyga breakup rumors. Both the 18-year old reality star and 25-year old rapper attended the 2015 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. And while the pair did not walk the red carpet together, Jenner and Tyga hung out in the audience during most of the Jennifer Lopez-hosted ceremony. The event took place just days after Kylie and Tyga supposedly split , with insiders claiming tension over which was more famous became too much for the tandem to handle. But Jenner shared a Snapchat video just 36 hours after the couple’s alleged demise, one that seemed to depict them in bed and one that included the text “everyone needs to chill.” Fast forward to the American Music Awards and Kyle shared another video of Tyga dancing in the lobby of the Microsoft Theater. She also posted footage of her entourage’s limo ride to an after-party at The Nice Guy in Hollywood… and, yes, it included a snapshot of Tyga in a suit, bobbing his head to some music. Need more proof that all is good between Jenner and Tyga? The latter spent Saturday, November 21 hanging out Kourtney Kardashian and Kanye West while partying at Diddy’s birthday bash. “Tyga was hanging out with Kanye and Kourtney Kardashian most of the night,” a source tells Us Weekly. “He was getting along great with Kanye and Kourtney all night and they were smiling and chatting so this breakup must not be that bad. It was totally cordial between them all.” So there you go. We’re not entirely sure what happened between these two and we can’t guarantee they stay together forever. WARNING to all men around America: do not mess with Demi Lovato. Or Alanis Morissette, for that matter. But we already knew that. Billed by ABC ahead of time as an “epic” duet, the singers came together on stage at the 2015 American Music Awards and took us back in time to 1995. In celebration of Morissette released her iconic album, “Jagged Little Pill,” the Canadian star teamed up with Lovato for a rendition of “You Oughta Know.” The performance of this anger-filled breakup anthem actually marked Morissette's first-ever time performing at the American Music Awards, despite having won two of its trophies back in the day, Favorite Pop/Rock Female and Favorite Pop/Rock Album in 1997. In August, meanwhile, Morissette also performed “You Oughta Know” with Taylor Swift as part of the latter’s 1989 tour. Farrah Abraham has just announced a new erotic romance trilogy. You cannot make this stuff up. Its title? Celebrity Sex Tape. We are dead serious. The novels are loosely based on Abraham’s own rise to stardom and the recent scandal that put the Teen Mom under intense public scrutiny in 2013. Alanis Morissette claims her fired housekeeper stole her dog and is refusing to give the pet back, effectively holding the pooch for a king’s ransom. The housekeeper, via the video below, tells a different story. Alanis Morissette Dog Drama Poor Alanis Alanis says the housekeeper took her dog without permission after she was fired; she counters that Alanis abandoned the dog after it shat all over the house. Morissette and hubby Mario Treadway have since filed a lawsuit trying to get the dog back , and in it, claims her legal efforts are being used against her. The singer is afraid that the more she protests, the more likely they are to drive up the price of a settlement to return the dog. Yes … this is a real story. Treadway says Circus “is not merely a piece of property. He is living and breathing” and each day without him, “[my] heart suffers more and more.” He says their former house manager is ultimately motivated by money and not love, and are just holding the pup in order to score a big payday. It may have taken another altercation with the paparazzi to get there, but Kanye West has landed in Paris. And photos of the rapper alongside baby mama Kim Kardashian make it look like he’s left all problems back in the United States. Kanye, of course, was held up leaving for the airport yesterday when he got into a big-time argument with a reporter who harassed him on the artist’s driveway. But West remained relatively calm and has since filed charges against the paparazzo for trespassing on his Hollywood Hills property. This confrontation came on the heels of West going after Jimmy Kimmel on Twitter after that comedian mocked the singer’s recent interview with BBC Radio. So it’s been a long few days for West, who left his daughter at home to spent time alone overseas with Kardashian. Alanis Morissette is being sued by a former nanny who alleges that the singer never paid her overtime or allowed her to take breaks during 12-hour shifts. Morissette, 39, and husband Mario “Souleye” Treadway have been sued by ex-employee Bianca Cambeiro, who filed the claims in court papers Thursday. Cambeiro cared for the couple’s son Ever, who turns three on Christmas of this year, 3-4 days a week. And boy, those 3-4 days a week were rough! Bianca says in court documents that she began working for Alanis Morissette in August 2011 at their Brentwood, Calif., home for the rate of $25 an hour. Sounds like a great gig, right? Not so much, Bianca says. Asked why she wasn’t being paid overtime, Alanis’ accountant allegedly said , “We don’t do that.” And her complaints don’t stop there by any means. Cambeiro claims she was prohibited from leaving the baby’s room while it was sleeping unless one of the parents or until the day shift nanny relieved her. According to the documents, the ex-nanny seeks no less than $100,000 for a list of reasons, including emotional distress, attorney fees and lost wages. As a non-exempt employee who worked over 10 hours a day, she claims she was legally entitled to a minimum of two 30-minute meal breaks each shift. Morissette’s camp has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
Chris Brown is allegedly listening to Alanis Morissette for the purposes of combating depression. Karrueche Tran is said to have gotten him hooked on the artist! The 24-year-old might need all the help he can get. Brown suffered a seizure earlier this month that his rep blamed on non-stop negativity surrounding the star, then just nixed four shows in Canada. The reason? Personal and health issues. Moreover, he was just slapped with 1,000 more hours of community service at an upsetting court hearing. No wonder he needs to clear his head. You live, you learn, Chris?! “He tried something different: He started meditating for a minute and listened to Alanis Morissette,” a source close to the oft-troubled artist says. “That song she got, ‘That I Would Be Good,’ he had that on all f–king day, listening to it in his headphones. [It was if] she were speaking directly to him.” It seems like an odd choice, but Chris Brown “likes all types” of music, and it’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran who turned him on to Alanis. “He listens to everything … music is music,” the source adds. “Everything got a message in it. Karrueche told him to peep it out and he did. That’s all he’s been listening to. He’ll try anything to get out of this f–ked up depressed mode.” “He has to do a bunch of hours that he already did, he ain’t really feeling all too good, and on top of all that he had to cancel his shows in Canada … he’s stressed out.” “He wants all this s–t behind him and quick,” the source says . “It’s all just too much stress for him. He’s too young to be having all this in his life.” If only he could have done anything to curtail it.
A news agency in Iran has published a report claiming that white, rural Americans would rather vote for its own head of state, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, than U.S. President Barack Obama. Slight problem: The report was by the Onion. Quoting The Onion, Iranian news agency Fars (more like FARCE, are we right?!) cites a fake poll that says 77 percent would rather have a drink or watch sports with Ahmadinejad. A made-up West Virginia resident is quoted as saying: “I like him better.” The West Virginia resident also believes Iran’s president “takes national defense seriously” and wouldn’t let “gay protesters tell him how to run his country like Obama does.” The Fars news agency, which is affiliated with the powerful Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), does not credit The Onion for the report on the survey. Iran banned alcohol after its revolution in 1979, while homosexuality is punishable by imprisonment or death and the nation’s media and politicians often refer to the U.S. as the “Great Satan.” That and they’ve apparently never seen The Onion. What a terrible place!
