Kanye West: I’m Moving to Chicago Whether Kim Likes It or Not!

You already knew that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West love Chicago , but you were aware the couple also has an affection for the Illinois city of the same name? We apologize for that sad bit of dad-joke word play, but Kimye makes it too easy with their “eccentric” baby names. All awful kidding aside, Kim and Kanye named their daughter Chicago for a reason — it’s Kanye’s hometown, and he credits the city with helping to transform him into the man he is today. We can only assume Chi-Town has a magnet school that specializes in teaching children how to throw egomaniacal tantrums and design horrendously ugly sneakers. Just kidding, Yeezy! Anyway, the point is, Kanye’s relationship with Chicago is not unlike his marriage — full of love, but very, very complicated. Speaking with TMZ this week, ‘Ye revealed his desire to return to the Midwest and remain there for the rest of his days: “I gotta let y’all know that I’m moving back to Chicago and I’m never leaving again,” West told the outlet. Unfortunately, there are some problems with Kanye’s fantasy. For starters, trying to imagine Kim digging into some deep dish while sandwiched between two portly Bears fans is like picturing Kid Rock enjoying high tea at Buckingham Palace. On top of that, Kim recently lambasted one of Chicago’s most beloved son in a tirade that many interpreted as an attack on the city itself. The beef had to do with Kanye’s charity and his alleged lack of involvement in the foundations that bear his name. Chicago rapper Rhymefest was particularly harsh on Yeezy, leading Kim to clap back in epic fashion: “U haven’t been right since u got kicked out of the studio in Hawaii wearing fake Yeezy’s @RHYMEFEST,” the mother of three tweeted. “You’re over levergenging [sic] Kanye’s name & asked Kanye to donate money to u so stop w your fake community politics & lies. Truth is you haven’t been able to sustain the foundation [sic].” Chicagoans went off on Kim in response, and as far as anyone knows the feud still isn’t settled. So Kim probably isn’t thrilled with the idea of leaving her beloved Calabasas behind for a city where she’s even more widely despised than she is in the rest of the country. The situation has led to another round of Kim-Kanye divorce rumors , but we think the internet is getting a little ahead of itself on this one. Mystery Doorbell Ringer Comes Forward, Shares Chilling Survival Story

This woman's terrifying story gripped the nation before anyone knew her name or heard her reveal what had happened to her. America first saw her as a nameless woman who, while wearing restraints and a large tee shirt, rang a neighbor's doorbell late at night. Her name is Lauren, and her story is every bit as chilling as people feared. Lauren is 32 years old. She says that one night, she awoke to her 49-year-old boyfriend, Dennis Ray Collins, kneeling on her chest. He was stuffing some sort of fabric into her mouth. Her feet and ankles were bound by restraints, and she had duct tape on her head. She reveals that, at the time, she fully believed that she was going to die. She says that she tried to cling to hope during the sexual assault that followed. Lauren says: “I just kept repeating in my head ‘God has more for me than this, I’m not gonna die here tonight,'” She had been living with Collins for 4 months at the time of the rape. She says that afterwards, he allowed her to go to the kitchen to get some water — because her throat hurt from screaming. This, she reveals, is when she saw her chance to escape — and took it. We can never imagine how much bravery it took her to make that dash for the door and leave. As natural as the instinct to flee is, there is also a powerful instinct in many people to cooperate with a threat in the hopes of survival. Neither instinct is always right, but Lauren made the right choice. She says that she flagged down a car, asking the driver to help her — but that the driver took one look at her and sped away. It was then that Lauren was famously recorded ringing a doorbell. She rang several doorbells. Lauren explains that she was in fear for her life, but convinced that if someone saw her and made eye contact with her, that she woudl be safe. In the end, Lauren was able to go back for her car to drive away. It was 3 in the morning, and her chances of getting someone to answer the door were slim. Again, we cannot imagine how much courage it took for her to return to the one place where she knew that Collins might be. Lauren drove to safety while the homeowner's whose doorbell caught Lauren on video contacted law enforcement, fearing for this mystery woman's life. It was five days after the video surfaced that Collins committed suicide. In his suicide note, he apologized to Lauren — which, obviously, doesn't mean much, considering what he had done to her — and swears that he had not planned to kill her. “I never would have killed you like you thought,” Collins claimed. “I’m sorry for what I’ve done and I wish I could turn back time.” He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Lauren is grappling with powerful emotions in the aftermath of this trauma. She even feels a misplaced sense of guilt over Collins' death. But, speaking to Inside Edition, she admits that she believe that he would have taken her life. “I worry if this video didn’t come out,” Lauren admits. “And if he were not gone — then I eventually would be.”

Julie Chen: Will She Leave Big Brother, Too?

At this point, Julie Chen is as synonymous with Big Brother as racism, homophobia and stunning evictions. And yet fans of this long-running reality show are now refreshing their browsers every other minute in order to learn the answer to the following question: Is Chen about to say goodbye as host? Questions about Chen’s future on CBS in general are understandably prominent at the moment, considering she just left The Talk . The veteran panelist did so amidst a sexual misconduct scandal surrounding husband Les Moonves, who just lost his job as CBS President due to allegations that he forced himself upon multiple women a couple decades ago. In a video message that aired on Tuesday’s edition of The Talk ( is that not the dumbest name ever for a program?!? ), Chen told viewers that she simply needs to be around her family as much as possible these days. “Right now, I need to spend more time at home with my husband and young son,” she said rather simply. We wonder if the intense criticism that came Chen’s way last week also played a role in this decision. Upon signing off from Big Brother a few days ago, Chen showed obvious support for Moonves by attaching his last name to hers for the first time ever on air. Social media blew up over this move. Is it shocking that Chen is standing by her man? Not really. But many viewers were still aghast over such a public display because Moonves is accused of some pretty heinous stuff . Chen is expected to stay on as host through the Season 20 finale on September 26. According to Us Weekly, no decision has been made beyond this episode, with various network executives thinking it’s best if she just goes away. They figure the less association CBS has overall with Moonves or anyone in his family, the better. If Chen does leave – and this remains a big IF – season 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby would reportedly be under consideration as her replacement. The same can be said, according to this tabloid’s sources, of Celebrity Big Brother runner-up Ross Mathews and Big Brother Canada host Arisa Cox. TMZ, meanwhile, claims that Chen wants to return to Big Brother and that the current plan is for her to do so… … IF Big Brother is renewed, that is. Forget Chen’s future on the show, this website writes . The future of the actual show is in question. So that’s where things stand at the moment. Many unanswered questions are out there. Bristol Palin: DONE With Teen Mom OG? Demanding Her Own Show?!

It's only been two months since Bristol Palin joined the cast of Teen Mom: OG , but it seems the daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is already looking to move on from the show. We suppose it shouldn't come as a huge shock that Bristol doesn't feel much in the way of loyalty toward her employers, given that her mother just up and quit being in charge of a whole ginormous state in the middle of a term. It seems the apple really didn't fall far from the tree in this case, and like her famous mom, Bristol believes she's destined for TV mega-stardom. Of course, it's anyone's guess as to why she thinks that, as thus far audiences have been as indifferent toward Bristol as they are toward Sarah. The Palins seem to have a distorted view of just how fascinating the rest of the world finds them, and in Bristol's case, that egomania is resulting in some intense conflicts with her Teen Mom bosses and co-stars … 1. Back In Action After spending some time away from the spotlight, Bristol is returning to public life in a huge way — with a starring role on one of TV’s most popular reality shows. 2. Big Shoes to Fill When the time came to replace Farrah Abraham, TMOG producers reportedly felt pressured to do something big. 3. Times Have Changed The original girls (the OGs, if you will) were unknowns when the show started, but now they’re full-blown stars with millions of social media followers. Unless the new additions to the case existed on a similar plane of popularity, they would likely be viewed as disappointments. 4. All-Star Casting So it was that Morgan J. Today, we have more intimate details about the swirly relationship thanks to the folks at Deadspin now that Joe McGinniss’s has released his new book “The Rogue” After her graduation, Sarah returned to Alaska and worked on the sports desk of Anchorage television station KTUU. On weekends, she’d sometimes appear on camera, delivering sports reports during the 10:00 PM newscast. Her attitude toward people of color was evolving. In Anchorage, she even dated black men. A friend says, “Sarah and her sisters had a fetish for black guys for a while.” Each year, over Thanksgiving weekend, the University of Alaska hosted a basketball tournament called the Great Alaska Shootout, featuring some of the country’s best teams. In 1987, one of the top squads to visit Anchorage was the University of Michigan, led by six-foot-eight junior Glen Rice, number 41. Rice would lead Michigan to the NCAA Championship in 1989, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated and setting a scoring record for the NCAA tournament that stands today. After graduating from Michigan as the school’s all-time leading scorer, he starred in the NBA for fifteen years. Whether in her professional capacity as a sports reporter or simply as a basketball groupie who’d begun to find black men attractive, Sarah linked up with the Rice during the weekend tournament. One friend recalls, “They went out. I suspect it was more than that. I can’t say I know they had sex, but I remember Sarah feeling pretty good that she’d been with a black basketball star.” Can’t you just see Sarah Palin walking around Alaska, smiling, singing…d**k-matized In one version of the story, Sarah’s encounter with Rice took place in her sister Molly’s dorm room at the University of Alaska Anchorage. “She hauled his ass down,” a friend says, “but she freaked out afterward. She couldn’t believe she’d done it.” Glen Rice remembers the weekend quite differently. When I spoke to him by telephone in March 2011, he said, “I remember it as if it was yesterday. She was a sweetheart. I met her almost as soon as we got out there.” Rice does not recall being in a university dorm room. “We hung out mostly at the hotel where the team was staying,” he told me. “We just hit off. In a short time, we got to know a lot about one another. It was all done in a respectful way, nothing hurried.” “So you never had the feeling she felt bad about having sex with a black guy?” I asked. “No, no, no, nothing like that,” Rice said. “Even after I left Alaska, we talked a lot on the phone. I think right up until the time she got married. She was a gorgeous woman. Super nice. I was blown away by her. Afterward, she was a big crush that I had. I talked about her for a long time. Only good things. She was a well-rounded young lady. It’s amazing the way that’s stayed with me. Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer: Wedding Called Off!

Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer have called off their wedding, according to her mother, former Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin. Sarah confirmed the sad news on her Facebook page Monday: “Bristol and Dakota couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support of family and friends over the past months while preparing for their wedding.” However, the ex-Alaska Governor said, “They have informed loved ones that unfortunately the announced celebration planned will not be held.” Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer had been set to wed May 23. Sarah, who has yet to decide if she will join the list of 2016 presidential candidates , did not say if the wedding has been or would be rescheduled. However, she said both the Palins and Meyers will still gather for a barbecue in Kentucky, the planned wedding location, to “celebrate life, in general!” She also included the following statement from her daughter: “Regarding salacious headlines in recent days about ‘secret wives,’ Dakota and I discussed our past relationships prior to our engagement.” View Slideshow: Bristol Palin Photos: Through the Years “Dakota was legally divorced years ago, as any good reporter could and should have disclosed to readers,” Palin said, appealing to people with “decency.” “As usual, false stories and dramatically written headlines begging controversy should be disregarded, and we have faith that our privacy will be respected.” It was reported last week that Meyer had married another woman, Cassandra Wain, in 2008, and had hidden his previous marriage from Bristol. Bristol Palin: Leave Phil Robertson Alone! Shame on A&E!

Bristol Palin is following in her famous mother’s footsteps, voicing support for Phil Robertson and publicly standing by the embattled Duck Dynasty patriarch. In a new blog post, the 23-year-old laments how the “hypocritical” LGBT community expects “every single flippen person to agree with their life style.” “This flies in the face of what makes America great … people can have their own beliefs and own opinions and their own ways of life,” adds Palin. Last week, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin slammed A&E for its suspension of Phil Robertson following his anti-gay comments in GQ magazine. Now her daughter is following suit with a photo (above) captioned, “I support Phil Robertson and his right to express his faith and beliefs. Shame on A&E.” In her post, entitled “Leave Phil Robertson Alone!”, Bristol Palin says “everyone needs to treat others like God would, with love. It goes both ways.” The one-time Dancing with the Stars finalist concluded that, “If I were Duck Dynasty, I would take my show to another channel. So much disrespect.” The Robertson clan may end up doing just that. Following the suspension, the Duck Dynasty cast issued a statement criticizing the statement and saying that they can’t imagine going on without Phil. This past weekend, Phil Robertson reportedly insisted he’s a lover, not a hater … but also doubled down on his remarks and rationale for them. The controversy started after the Duck Commander founder, 67, was asked about his definition of sinful behavior in an interview for January’s GQ . “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,” he said. “Sin becomes fine. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman, that woman, that woman and those men.” “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers … ” “They won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.” On Wednesday, the network put Robertson on an indefinite hiatus, saying it was disappointed about his remarks and sparking a national controversy.
