Jim Irsay, Indianapolis Colts Owner, Arrested for Drunk Driving

Jim Irsay suddenly has a lot more to worry about than his team’s Super Bowl chances in 2014. The outspoken Indianapolis Colts owner was arrested late Sunday night for driving under the influence after getting pulled over near his home in Carmel. Jim Irsay Arrested on Drug Charges According to authorities, Irsay failed multiple field sobriety tests and also had various prescription drugs inside his vehicle at the time of his arrest. He faces a preliminary misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, along with four felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Bryant Orem said. A hearing is set for March 26. Irsay was released from the Hamilton County Jail after posting $22,500 bond and faces up to three years in prison if convicted across the board. “The team will issue additional statements when the facts are sorted and we are aware of the next steps to this process,” said Colts spokesman Avis Roper. “Many fans have reached out to express their concern and we appreciate their support.” In 2002, Irsay admitted to a dependency on pain killers, due to a number of orthopedic operation, but said he had received treatment for the problem. It’s horrifying but true: a  Kris Jenner sex tape is out there. We already know the Kim Kardashian sex tape isn’t the only amateur porn video in this family, thanks to a disturbing scene earlier this year on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But the real question now is this: Does someone else have it? And is he blackmailing Jenner by threatening its release? According to Radar Online, a man has called Jenner over 100 times in the last week, demanding money in exchange for the footage. “If he’s not paid, he claims, he’ll release the tape,” claims an anonymous insider. Moreover, the 58-year old mother fears she is being actively stalked by this crazy individual. “She thinks he could be following her,” the source says. “She went out to eat and then got a text from him saying ‘Are you enjoying the restaurant? This person knew where she was.” Okay, that is scary. If true, of course. The family isn’t taking any chances, increasing security around Kris and turning over all relevant intel to the authorities. “Everyone is worried,” Radar concluded. As they should be. Brittany Kerr and Jason Aldean: Dating!

Country singer Jason Aldean is dating Brittany Kerr, the former American Idol star with whom he was caught cheating on his wife with back in September 2012. Aldean and Kerr have been keeping things on the down-low, but have nevertheless been together since he filed for divorce from wife Jessica Ussery in 2013. Back in 2012, the married Aldean, 37, was captured on camera kissing Brittany Kerr , also a former NBA cheerleader, at an outdoor bar in West Hollywood. The “Night Train” singer apologized for the incident on Facebook immediately once the story hit celebrity gossip sites, admitting that he “screwed up.” “I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately … I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story.” Clearly it wasn’t. It’s not known when they hooked up again, but here we are. Aldean and Ussery, his wife of over 10 years with whom he has two daughters, reportedly tried to make their marriage work after the scandal, to no avail. Just seven months later, Aldean filed for divorce from Jessica Ussery . “This is a really tough time for my entire family,” Aldean said after. “Jessica and I have been together since we were teenagers. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs over the years as we grew up together as a couple.” “She will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children, and I know that we will both always make our daughters our No. 1 priority.” Kerr is his priority now, too. Soundgarden Triumph At Red Rocks Reunion Show

After reuniting last year, the grunge gods prove they can still shred. By Mary J. DiMeglio Chris Cornell (file) Photo: Bill McCay/ Getty Images MORRISON, Colorado — An ecstatic-looking Chris Cornell gazed over the Red Rocks Amphitheater on Monday night and declared, “We’re Soundgarden , and we’re back.” Setting off the night with “Searching with My Good Eye Closed” from 1991’s Badmotorfinger and the Grammy-winning “Spoonman,” one of their first big hits, the recently reunited grunge gods quickly cleared any doubts about whether they still had it, even after 14 years apart. “We’re doing this because of you,” Cornell professed. After the frontman encouraged the crowd to “smoke it all so you don’t get busted on the way home,” the band unleashed “Jesus Christ Pose,” with Matt Cameron’s pummeling of the drums reminding everyone that while he’s served as drummer for Pearl Jam since Soundgarden’s 1997 breakup, it was his work with tonight’s headliner that made him sought after. The band then allowed the audience to take a breath, slowing down the already-sleepy “Blow Up the Outside World.” The song’s fade out had the sold-out crowd of 9,400 chanting in unison. Cornell reveled at the venue his reformed group had taken on. “We played here before, and maybe a little bit was lost on us,” he said. “It’s f—ing amazing.” Between songs, he coaxed attendees to shriek just for the hell of it, giving props to the amphitheater’s legendary acoustics. “This big rock over here and this one over there,” he said, referencing the two giant stones that flank the seating area, “it acts like a speaker, funnels down to my head. It’s trippy.” The Seattle foursome revisited their breakthrough album, Superunknown, for three in row, following “The Day I Tried to Live” with “My Wave” and “Fell on Black Days.” They went all the way back to their Screaming Life/Fopp EP for “Nothing to Say” and shredded eardrums with “Rusty Cage.” For “Outshined,” Cornell dropped his guitar in favor of a microphone stand as his temporary weapon of choice, alternately waving it and pounding it into the stage. As seasoned bands often do, Soundgarden changed up some of their biggest hits when most fans probably would have preferred the radio version. And while Cornell shied away from some of the notes on the choruses of “Black Hole Sun” and “Pretty Noose,” it seems he was saving his pipes for the set-ending fan favorite “Slaves & Bulldozers.” Having admirably conquered the night’s 20-plus selections, Cornell explored the heights of his iconic wail without hesitation. The band — which released its first-ever live album, Live on the I-5, earlier this year — is currently crafting its first studio LP since 1996. Though nothing new was debuted during Monday night’s hit parade, fans can be hopeful that they channel the passion they displayed for their old material. Kings of Leon Turned Down ‘Glee’ To Avoid Selling Out

But one act that isn’t interested in having its music remixed for the McKinley High kids is Kings of Leon . The scruffy Tennessee arena rockers told England’s New Musical Express that they declined a chance to have their music worked over into peppy glee club arrangements — as well as an invitation to appear on the now-canceled “Ugly Betty” — for fearing of selling out. “We got an offer to appear on an episode of ‘Ugly Betty,’ ” bassist Jared Followill said. “They wanted us to play ourselves. We were supposed to come in and help her out with some problem or other.” He also confirmed that they passed on the “Glee” offer, saying, “We could have sold out so much more. We turn stuff down constantly.” A spokesperson for “Glee” could not be reached for confirmation on the offer at press time, and the spokesperson for KOL said he was not aware of the TV proposals. And even if they aren’t interested in stepping into the TV spotlight to expand their audience, the family act are not about to let down their core fans. That explains why a month after they fled the stage during a gig at the Verizon Amphitheatre in St. Louis following an onslaught of pigeon droppings, the Kings are going to give it another shot.

Touchdown Jesus On Fire in Monroe, Ohio

The Famous Giant Statue of Jesus Christ which also goes by the names: Touchdown Jesus, King of Kings and Big Butter Jesus that was built beside that the Solid Rock Church in Monroe, Ohio near the Interstate highway 75 and just above Cincinnati due north has been struck by lightening during the thunderstorm last Monday night, June 14, 2010, about 11:15 PM and it immediately turned into a blaze of fire and have eventually consumed itself and burned to the ground. The said six story tall statue of Jesus Christ with His arms raised was built more than half a decade ago in 2004 was actually made of fiberglass and plastic foam that have been put over a solid steel frame which explains why the fire consumed the whole statue leaving only the solid frame.
