NeNe Leakes Threatens to Sue Kenya Moore and Claudia Jordan: Here’s Why!

They may be co-stars on Real Housewives of Atlanta, but NeNe Leakes has made it clear to Kenya Moore and Claudia Jordan: You do not want to mess with me. According to TMZ insiders, an attorney for Leakes has sent a letter to both Moore and Jordan, warning them to stop damaging NeNe’s brand by engaging in trash talk. Specifically, Leakes is demanding that Jordan stop referring to her as bipolar. Her precise issue with Moore is unclear. Just a few weeks ago on their program, Leakes slammed Jordan for kissing up to Kenya, with Claudia responding in kind and calling NeNe as “immature,” “bitchy” and “catty.” Sounds about right for these two, doesn’t it? Those who watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , of course, may find this lawsuit nonsense a bit hypocritical of NeNe. She hasn’t exactly been above hurling insults at her castmates on this Bravo series. To wit: Leakes once said Jordan was such a tramp that “her clit has left her body.” Sorry. Earmuffs, readers. 21 Real Housewives Feuds For the Ages 21. Bethenny Frankel vs. Jill Zarin & Kelly Bensimon Remember them? Gone but not forgotten, the Bethenny Frankel vs. Jill Zarin tension marked the glory hears of the RHONYC. Jill wasn’t alone in picking this fight. Kelly Bensimon, too, suggested Bethenny wanted her dead at one point, among other highlights.

Kendra Wilkinson Offers Tempered Praise For Lindsay Lohan Nude

Kendra Wilkinson has thought a lot about it, but at the end of the day, supports Lindsay Lohan’s desire to pose nude in Playboy . After all, how can she judge? “She always came off like a girl that would do Playboy so I am not really surprised,” the 26-year-old K-Dubs said of Lindsay’s decision to go full frontal. “She is almost like a hippie type of girl.” That’s one way of putting it … “I am so back and forth about it,” the Kendra star said of Lindsay in Playboy , where she’ll be channeling Marilyn Monroe . “The one thing that I can say is that in this day and age, if you have a way to make that kind of money, then go ahead.” Mixed, but generally positive feelings from Kendra then. She does make a valid point. A million dollars for four days of work? That looks pretty good on any balance sheet, even if it means showing the vadge of courage. Besides, Lindsay Lohan’s got a lot of bills these days. “If that’s what’s going to bail her ass out of jail, I mean, go for it. You never know. She could need the money to bail herself out,” Kendra hilariously added.

Nikki Reed Talks Breaking Dawn and Russian Tattoos on The Late Show

While her castmates jetted over to London this week for the Breaking Dawn premiere in that city, Nikki Reed was a guest on The Late Show with David Letterman . And viewers learned a great deal about the actress during her interview. For instance: did you know she’s in the process of removing a tattoo from her wrist? Or that she speaks Greek? Or that she home-schooled herself? Or that she’s married to former American Idol singer Paul McDonald? Okay, you probably knew that final tidbit. The artist makes a cameo during the following video, as well. Sit back and get to know Nikki a lot better right now: Nikki Reed on The Late Show

Willem Dafoe Talks Fireflies in the Garden and Platoon at 25

“Usually when I hear the words ‘family drama,’ I run,” said Willem Dafoe, who nevertheless found something to savor in writer-director Dennis Lee’s Fireflies in the Garden . Little did Dafoe or his castmates Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Emily Watson, Hayden Panettiere and least of all Lee himself know that their particular family drama wouldn’t make it to American theaters only today — nearly four years after its Berlin Film Festival premiere in 2008.

GALLERY: The Fighter, and the Best and Worst of Mark Wahlberg

While his castmates Amy Adams, Christian Bale, and Melissa Leo got Oscar nominations for their roles in The Fighter (out this week in a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack from Paramount Home Entertainment) — with the latter two winning the trophy — Mark Wahlberg’s performance went unheralded. (He did, however, share in the film’s Best Picture nod as one of its producers.) But given the larger-than-life quality that Bale and Leo, in particular, brought to their roles, it seemed like an intentional call on the part of Wahlberg and director David O. Russell to let Wahlberg’s on-screen personality recede a bit so the spotlight could shine elsewhere. Still, he’s just fine in the film, and it inspired me to think of the sublime (and the ridiculous) turns he’s had elsewhere — and no, we’re not counting The Marky Mark Workout in either category.

Jim Sturgess Picks Up Survival Tips Filming ‘The Way Back’

‘We skinned rabbits, we did all kinds of crazy stuff like that,’ he tells MTV News. By Kara Warner Jim Sturgess Photo: MTV News When a film shoots “on location,” there is an added air of glitz and glamour. Thoughts of far-off exotic countries and stars getting pampered in fancy trailers come to mind. That was not the case on the set of “The Way Back,” however. Because the film is based on the real-life story of a group of inmates who escape the Siberian Gulag during World War II and must walk more than 4,000 miles to freedom, the actors were put through similar trials and tribulations (or as close as they could get to the real suffering, without endangering themselves) during production. When MTV News caught up with Jim Sturgess (“21,” “Across the Universe”), we asked him if he and his castmates (including Colin Farrell and Ed Harris) managed to pick up any survival tips throughout the process. “Don’t eat yellow snow,” he joked. “No, there were loads. We were really lucky. We were able to be put in touch with a guy who had actually done the walk for real. A French expeditionist, a guy called Cyril Delafosse-Guiramand. He was an amazing guy. He basically read the book [on which the film is loosely based] ‘The Long Walk,’ and after reading that book decided he was going to take the trek from Siberia to India himself. He had his own food — he didn’t just survive off the land — but he was just an amazing man to have around.” Before they started filming, Sturgess said the cast got together and learned a few basic survival skills, none of which he mastered. “It was just building fires and how to find dry moss in snowy conditions and the best way to construct a fire, where to do it,” Sturgess recalled. “We skinned rabbits, we did all kinds of crazy stuff like that, we felled trees, and he was teaching me lots of navigational techniques, how to navigate yourself north and south using shadows from sticks, from the sun rising. It was cool. We all enjoyed it.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Way Back.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

‘Jersey Shore’ Star Sammi: ‘Nobody’s Hard To With Fight In That House’

‘Winning isn’t everything, but I’m proud of standing up,’ Sammi says of coming to blows with housemates like JWoww. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Sammi Photo: MTV News Last week’s “Jersey Shore” premiere ended with a mid-punch cliffhanger as Sammi and JWoww went at each other , grabbing fistfuls of hair extensions and clawing at each other’s faces. Who would win? The scrum picked up again Thursday night (January 13) and, as we should have suspected, nobody really wins when it comes to intra-cast brawling on the hit reality show, do they? That’s not to say the girls seem to regret brawling or that another fight couldn’t happen in the future. Because according to Sammi, she’s not scared of any of her castmates. “Nobody’s hard to fight with in that house,” she told MTV News recently. Sammi doesn’t mean that as some sort of hear-me-roar intimidation tactic. In fact, she professes to hate fighting and confessed, “I never fought anybody in my entire life until Miami.” But since the cast’s trip to Florida — fight she has. And each time, she hasn’t backed down from going at JWoww, who Sammi says is a much more experienced fighter. “I’m very stern in my opinions and I speak my mind,” she said. “Winning isn’t everything, but I’m proud of standing up [for myself], for never fighting before. For somebody who fights all the time to somebody who doesn’t fight, I’m a little bit proud of myself for just sticking up. “That’s just who I am — I stick up for myself,” she added. “I don’t care if I win, I don’t care if I lose, I’m just stern in my beliefs and my opinions.” Don’t miss “Jersey Shore,” airing Thursday nights at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
