The rapper shared a now-deleted photo of his nasty wound on his Instagram on Saturday night, writing: “I’m just glad I’m ok. Thank god.” Not long before that, the 26-year-old has posted a photo of him on his new toy, saying he made the purchase because he got bored. No word yet on how he’s feeling about that purchase now since the crash. According to reports from the people over at TMZ , sources say that the crash occurred in a dirt lot behind a luxury auto dealership in Calabasas. Rich was seen riding over small hills before he began doing donuts. It’s no surprise that this was the time that the rapper lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip over and land on its roof with him in it. Rich The Kid was transported to a hospital shortly after emergency crews arrived on the scene. He also shared footage of his hospital visit on his social media pages and in one of the clips, Rich is heard telling the medical staff that his hand was broken. At this moment in time, it’s not yet clear how severe the rapper’s injuries are–but sources told TMZ the damage appeared to be pretty serious. An EMT allegedly told Rich he would have trouble “using his hand for the rest of his life,” and that he hoped he wasn’t a guitar player, “as he wouldn’t be able to play anymore.” Get well soon, Rich.

This morning on my way to work, I had to change my usual route due to a transportation problem beyond my control. A few years ago, if this had happened, I would have freaked out and not known what to do, as I was not used to the issues that can occur in a big city. However, since I’ve become accustomed to plans changing recently, I just started walking in the direction of the office, sure of myself and prepared for whatever situations might arise later . Looking at this blip in my routine more closely, I saw it as a small representation of more significant moments that become catalysts for future changes. Life is an ever-evolving entity and you never know what will happen from one moment to the next. Sometimes, days will go by where nothing new happens and routines becoming solidly intertwined with the time that passes. Every once in a while, though, there are a few days that just change up the entire sequence, turning into a bull in a china shop in terms of directed clarity. Maybe there was a build-up to this emotional catharsis or perhaps you never saw it coming. Either way, what changes the course of your day in growth and evolution are the defining sequences that you ultimately remember, even if you were originally caught off guard and did not understand their significance at the time. How does one deal with major changes, especially when you have little time to process the moment? Calmly approaching new situations with a positive outlook helps keep your emotions in check and your mind open, especially when the lesson is unexpected. Being prepared for the turning points in life, no matter how small, is an important test in anticipation and something you can accomplish with the strength of a seasoned fighter. The Miami rapper’s latest club and street heater is “Hustle Hard,” the lead single from his upcoming third album, Blood, Sweat & Tears . “The concept behind this record is: Just whatever you may do or whatever you do in life, what you choose to do, really go hard at it,” Ace told MTV News. “I felt like I was in a circumstance at that point in time in my life where I felt like it’s either this or that. OK, what are you going to do when your back [is] against the wall? I felt like [the] only thing I could do is hustle hard. Soon as I laid it down … it came out crazy.” The “Hustle Hard” remix features Rick Ross and Lil Wayne. Rappers including Maino, Young Jeezy and Joell Ortiz have created their own versions of the song, using its relentless, Lex Luger-produced beat. But according to Ace, it was a leaked version of the song that included a Rick Ross verse that prompted the quicker release of its official remix. “The remix always [included] Rick Ross and Wayne,” Ace explained. “But I had it in the can. My hook and Ross’ verse, that’s the only thing that leaked. So being that that version leaked, I was like, ‘Ya know what? I might as well put the Wayne part since Ross is a part of the remix.’ Why not? I had to give it to them early. It ended up being huge.” Ace Hood, who is signed to Def Jam via DJ Khaled’s We the Best imprint, retreated from the spotlight after releasing his sophomore album, Ruthless , in 2009. The rapper wanted to figure out his direction as an artist and felt compelled to assert that he wasn’t getting over simply because he was Khaled’s artist. “I was just really trying to find my niche,” he said. “What’s really going to make the people accept Ace Hood? I’ve always created good music, the hit records. People know me from … being a part of ‘Out Here Grindin’.’ I always created that motivational music: the ‘Overtime’s, the ‘Champion’s. For that time being, I was really in the dungeon.” Now back on the grind, videos for both official versions of “Hustle Hard” have been created.
