Martin Shkreli Might Be Going to Jail, Loves Pokemon Go

If you spend any time at all on social media, you’re likely familiar with both Martin Shkreli and Pokemon Go. The two out-of-left-field phenomena have little in common other than the fact that they’ve both done a surprising amount of damage and the Internet can’t seem to get enough of them. Pokemon Go has resulted in a shocking number of injuries and existential crises , as well as a never-ending stream of frustrated social media users who don’t understand why their adult co-workers are engaging in serious arguments about Squirtles and Jiggly Puffs. Shkreli has caused a similar uproar, but for a much more serious reason. During his time as CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals the so-called “Pharma Bro” jacked up the price on a potentially life-saving medication . He also started a random feud with Ghostface Killah , despite the fact that most of us have been cautioned from a young age that the Wu Tang Clan ain’t nothin’ to f–k with. Anyway, you’re probably wondering what Pikachu and the living incarnation of Millennial privilege could possibly have in common. Well, it seems that like many others, Shkreli is a big, big Pokemon Go fanatic. Unlike most, however, he might soon find it difficult to play the game thanks to a looming prison sentence. Back in December, Shkreli was arrested on securities fraud charges after investigators alleged that he used stock from Turing to pay off debt from a hedge fund that he’d previously run into the ground.  At an arraignment in Brooklyn yesterday, Shkreli threw his co-defendant under the bus by requesting a separate trial. But the great part of this story is that a New York Daily News reporter claims that on his way out of the courtroom, Shkreli was heard to remark to his lawyer: “Can I go play Pokemon go now?” Yes, Shkreli has Charizards and Wartortles on the brain even as his future freedom hangs in the balance. Taylor Swift Is Over Party: Twitter Users Celebrate Singer’s Downfall

As you may have heard, the never-ending soap opera that is Taylor Swift's life took another unexpected turn today when it was revealed that Swift and Calvin Harris fought over a song prior to their breakup. To be specific, the music mega-stars clashed over Harris' hit single “This Is What You Came For”, which we now know was secretly co-written by Swift. Harris slammed Swift in a Twitter rant that sparked the now-trending hashtag #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty. The tag has taught us two important things: A lot of folks on Twitter really don't like Taylor Swift, and they've been holding onto some epic memes and sick burns for the day of her downfall. Obviously, their celebration is more than a bit premature (Taylor will probably never be “over,” and she's certainly not today.), but the party is still worth attending: 1. Simpler Times It’s hard to believe, but there was a time when Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were friendly. Those days are long gone, and the Katy Cats showed their claws during the #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty on Twitter today. 2. Katy Perry: Roaring! Things are bad.  People are walking around, only paying attention to an animated character on their Smartphone. Look up, fools! It's gotten to the point where local police departments have had to issues public safety issues warning of the dangers of wandering around in a zombie-like state. Skateboarding To The ER Mike Schultz from Long Island fell off his skateboard while playing, and cut his hand on the sidewalk. ” I just wanted to be able to stop quickly if there were any Pokemons nearby to catch,” he said, according to the Associated Press. 3. BOOM “Not even 30 minutes after the release last night, I slipped and fell down a ditch,” one Reddit user said in a thread. “Fractured the fifth metatarsal bone in my foot, 6-8 weeks for recovery. I told all the doctors I was walking my dog lol… Watch where you’re going, folks!” 4. Right Into The Water Pokemon GO is a danger to society. Just look at what happened to this moron who was playing the game. 5. Driver Crashes Car Into Tree The Auburn, NY driver, thankfully, suffered only minor injuries and admitted to playing Pokemon Go while behind the wheel. 6. Katy Perry Throws MAJOR Shade at Taylor Swift Following Calvin Harris Rant

In case you somehow haven’t heard, it’s been a rough day for Taylor Swift. It all started when TMZ reported that Taylor dumped Calvin Harris  as a direct result of a dispute involving his hit song “This Is What You Came For.” Things really turned ugly when Harris confirmed the rumors and slammed Swift in a lengthy Twitter rant. Harris’ tirade resulted in the ” Taylor Swift Is Over Party ,” in which angry members of Team Calvin reveled in what they perceived to be the downfall of one of the world’s most successful singers. Throughout the “party” we couldn’t help but wonder what Taylor’s most famous rival, Katy Perry, thought about the situation. Well, as expected KP is finally offering some insights into her take on Taylor’s terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day. Tomi Lahren Blames Obama for Dallas Shooting: WATCH!

Tomi Lahren, an outspoken anchor on The Blaze, has once again stirred up major controversy with her thoughts on American race relations. Last week, Lahren Tweeted that the Black Lives Matter movement was akin to the KKK, writing the following message on her social media account: In response, over 56,000 people have signed a petition that calls for Lahren to be ousted from her post as a member of Glenn Beck's Web network. That seems unlikely to happen, however, considering Lahren is bringing a great deal of attention to The Blaze. In her “Final Thoughts” on Tuesday, for example, the 23-year old blamed President Obama (who she refers to derisively as “Barry”) and “two black attorney generals” for the country’s growing racial tensions. “Almost eight years in office and two black attorney generals as head of the Justice Department, and where are we today?” Lahren asks in the following video. “We are more divided now than ever before.” Most people would agree with the latter sentence. But not as many people would agree with where Lahren lays blame for it. Lahren went on to give her viewers a history lesson. She states that minority communities have never trusted police… that officers have generally “dealt” with the ensuing distress… and that, at the moment, everything has been “reduced to race.” Touching on the topic of President Obama’s speech after the Dallas shootings , Tomi Lahren denounced the “rush” to blame white officers for escalating tensions. She also questioned the tone of the Black Lives Matter movement. According to the controversial host, the sniper Micah Johnson did NOT just have a “troubled mind,” as President Obama implied – but was inspired by the anti-cops and anti-white rhetoric of Black Lives Matter. Watch her latest take on this hot button subject below. This video has been viewed over 790,000 times as of this writing. We shudder to think about the number of those viewers who agree with Tomi Lahren.

Josh Duggar to Offer Televised Apology For Sex Scandals?!

Back when it was first announced that TLC would be picking up a full season of Jill & Jessa: Counting On , the network assured viewers that disgraced eldest son Josh Duggar would not be appearing on the show . However, now that execs have ordered a second season of Counting On , but failed to offer a similar guarantee, some fans are growing concerned that they may be subjected to a televised Josh apology tour. Making matters worse is a new report from In Touch that definitively claims Josh will be appearing in an upcoming episode of his family’s comeback reality series. “Josh will appear on the next season of his sisters’ series,” a source tells the tabloid. “The plan is for him to address everything he’s done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC – and the Duggars – know it.” View Slideshow: The 11 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals of 2015 Well, we suppose it could be ratings gold. But it seems just as likely that the move would result in widespread public outrage and perhaps even a boycott of the network. Already, several corporations have pulled their advertising dollars from TLC after learning their commercials appeared during broadcasts of Counting On .  To the surprise of no one except the Duggars, the public has, for the most part, proven unwilling and unable to forget that this is the same family that harbored a child molester and helped him avoid punishment for his crimes. While an episode in which Josh tells his side of the story would likely draw big numbers for the network, the ensuing fallout would be catastrophic. It seems unlikely that the execs at TLC would be willing to take such a risk. Then again, many felt that way about allowing the family to return to television at all. Joseline Hernandez: Faking Pregnancy? Deleted Ultrasound Photo Raises Questions

Is Joseline Hernandez of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta really pregnant, as she gleefully (and disdainfully, re: Stevie J) announced this month? It’s been quite the last few months for Joseline and Stevie J. What’s gone on in real life easily trumps the drama you see when you watch Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta online , too, which says a lot. First, she nastily broke up with longtime partner/fake husband Stevie, who she accused of being gay (among a number of other things). Then she got into a heated beef with him on Twitter (below), and shared the results of a lie detector test proving Stevie J watches gay porn . Purported results. You know how those things are. And how she is. Given that Joseline is a pathological liar and wildly unstable, you can see why some fans might doubt she’s expecting. Stevie J, for his part, says he doesn’t think he got Joseline Hernandez pregnant . Not for gay porn reasons, she’s-a-sociopath reasons. Well, a suspect maneuver over an ultrasound photo she posted on social media has many skeptics doubting her even more strongly. Last week, after posting a pic of her alleged baby bump, and saying Stevie J disavowed it, and good riddance, she shared the above image. Now, as Starcasm notes in its post on this developing story, you will notice that the baby sonogram is watermarked by Tha Celebritea . This is because Joseline deleted the image after sharing it. Why should Hernandez do such a thing? Because it’s not even her baby, some critics suspect, and there’s ample reason to be suspicious. She claims to be a few months along, and while it’s hard to say for sure, the development of the baby above could be consistent with that. At the same time, you’re probably talking 3-5 months along, and during Joseline’s recent public appearance, well … she doesn’t look it. Need we say more?  Obviously, every woman carries differently – see Tess Holliday and Brittany Raven – and Joseline is never shy about showing off her body. Ever. But still … Given that Hernandez lies like it’s her job, including about a pregnancy in 2014 we might add, and looks like this at the present time? You tell us: Stevie J, as we said, expressed disbelief about the alleged baby in her … which caused Joseline to calmly engage in respectful dialogue. Just kidding, she went absolutely bonkers as per usual. She lashed out at Stevie by claiming that he molested his own daughter; Mimi Faust, the little girl’s mother, promptly came to his defense. All we can say for sure is that these two never cease to entertain … and that if Joseline is somehow pregnant, she’d better save money. Kid’s going to need a whole team of psychiatrists. Pokemon GO Plunges 27-Year Old Into Existential Crisis

Pokemon GO is making it impossible to live a normal life. Just ask the weatherman in the following video, who was just trying to do his job recently when… … yup, you guessed it: a colleague wandered through his live news report. And also ask the young woman in the following video. She starts out the self-filmed footage by explaining that she was initially really angry over Pokemon GO. Why? Because the app, which forces players to go into the real world in order to track down Pokemon (who appears to them on their phone screens at various locations), was causing upheaval at her workplace. It's unclear just where this woman works (Walmart?), but she makes it VERY clear in this video that there have been a number of disturbances there as a result of Pokemon GO. We can only imagine. It's hard to do one's job when random people keep walking all around you, trying to find confusing, animated creatures. At first she attempted to resist the hype, but later decided to download the game to see what the fuss is about. And then it was all over. Then she was screwed. Then she was hooked on Pokemon GO herself, jetting from place to place in order to come out on top and wondering how she ended up there. “I thought if I downloaded the game I could catch all the Pokemons in my work and people would stop coming to catch them,” she says, “But that's not how it works.” And now? Well… now she finds herself obsessing over the game at all times, traveling from spot to spot in her quest to be the very, very best. “This is just not where I saw myself at 27 years old,” she confesses toward the end of the video. We feel her pain. But we also want her to know the following: It's never too late to change.

Khloe Kardashian: Blamed For Lamar Odom Relapse!

Give this girl a break. Khloe Kardashian appears to have done everything in her power to help estranged husband Lamar Odom stay sober, but after last night’s ordeal, it doesn’t look like there’s anything more she can do. Odom was kicked off a Delta red eye from LA to New York after throwing up in the plane’s galley and bathroom.  The former NBA star was reportedly drinking beer and whiskey in Delta’s LAX lounge. According to TMZ , Odom went to his seat in first class, then got up as the plane was about to take off and ran towards the bathroom. He didn’t quite make it, throwing up in the galley before finding the toilet (the door was open the entire time). This, of course, opened up the floodgates for trolls, who thought they were doing society a favor by shaking their finger at the reality star. User @Tamantha_5 tweeted a particularly low blow. “Instead of running the streets with Mr.!steal your girl you need to be helping your HUSBAND,” the blogger wrote, referencing Kardashian’s rumored fling, Trey Songz. Khloe, who doesn’t bite her tongue when attacked via Twitter, fired back. “Stay in your f—ing lane little girl,” she wrote. “You know nothing about anything. You’re a sheep herded by society.” Fans started to send tweets of support, assuring Kardashian that Odom’s addiction is “out of” her hands. Lamar Odom Learns to Walk Kardashian filed for divorce a second time from Odom back in May; she halted proceedings from her initial filing in December 2013 after Odom suffered a near-fatal overdose at Nevada brothel.
