Shannen Doherty is facing the biggest challenge of her life. The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star was diagnosed with breast cancer several months and has been keeping fans apprised of her progress. Sadly, it isn’t going very well. Earlier this week, for example, Doherty shared the tragic news that the cancer has spread. Now, in an Instagram post written on Thursday, Doherty has gone into detail about the horrors of undergoing chemotherapy. It’s unfortunately a feeling and an experience to which millions can relate. “Each person’s cancer journey is different. For me, chemo has been terrible and believe me, we have tried almost everything,” the 45-year old wrote alongside a photo of herself in bed alongside her beloved dog Bowie. She added: “So days like this have become a bit of the norm. I’m learning that it’s ok to fall into bed and give in to the exhaustion or nausea or aches.” Thank goodness she has a four-legged friend she can lean on at least. After thanking her 422,000 followers for their ongoing support throughout this health battle, Doherty gave a mention to her precious pooch for remaining by her side as she battles to beat this illness. “Btw, it doesn’t hurt to have #msbowie comfort me. So back to my nap,” she wrote. “Thank you for your prayers, well wishes and stories. They help so much.” During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, Doherty said she thinks her canine was the first to sense that she had cancer. Dogs really have been known to have this ability. “She would obsessively sniff right here on my right side for a long time before,” Doherty shared. “So it made sense when I got diagnosed. The actress discovered she had breast cancer in February 2015. She shaved her head just a couple weeks ago. After her eight rounds of chemotherapy are complete, Doherty is planning to start radiation treatments. It’s difficult, but Doherty is trying to stay positive. “[My husband and I] were at this Italian restaurant in Brooklyn, and I looked at him and I said, ‘You better enjoy every single second that you have with me … ’cause I’m going to be dead in five years,'” she told ET. “He burst out crying and was like, ‘You can’t say that.'” “That phase was short, thank God. Here’s how Isaiah Ramos’ mother described the incident to 13ABC : “He was quiet, he wasn’t doing anything that I noticed,” Isaiah’s mother, Andrea Ramos said. “The lady turns around and was like ‘can you stop?’ He looked at her confused, he didn’t know what he did.” Ramos says she still isn’t sure what Isaiah did to upset the woman. But after exchanging a few works, she says the situation escalated. “She had a cup in her hand and I watched her take the lid off and she chucked her drink at the back of my son’s head,” says Ramos. “I was like ‘stop, he doesn’t understand; he has Down Syndrome.’ She looked at him and said, ‘so, you’re stupid, you’re an idiot.’ ” Ramos says she followed the woman outside and snapped a picture of her license plate and then called police. “I came back in and I sat down and was just holding him, rocking him because he was crying,” Ramos said. I can’t believe I’m actually writing one of these. I remember I used to look at this website and everyone’s pictures never thinking it would happen to me, but it did. I’ll start off my saying from 2009, Justin has meant everything to me. He’s my rock. I had been trying so hard to meet him and I even trended with #biebsmeetsarah but nothing worked. A few days before my concert I lost all hope. The day before my concert I had an odd feeling to check my email, I got on and had nothing, but nonchalantly, I refreshed just to refresh, and the title “Bieber Fever Best Collection” popped up. It took me an actual minute to grasp what it was, and when I finally realized I was meeting Justin, I fell to the ground in tears. Everything I had been working for was worth it. The day of my concert arrived and I waited in a room to meet him for 2 hours. They finally called us to meet him. I held my friend Rachel’s hand (we met on Twitter because of Justin) and we walked in the line. Finally it was our turn and I walked in and everything from then on was in slow motion. I stared in awe as he took a picture with the group in front of us. He looked so surreal, I can’t even put it into words. His eyes are so big and brown and he was so small. I walked up to him and told him to smile because it was the reason why I was alive. I can’t explain how he looked at me, but it was so sincere. He whispered, “Thank you sweetheart.” I turned and wrapped my arms around him. I felt his stomach tense and his arm grip my shoulder. After we took the picture I turned to his side and just looked at him. He’s literally perfect. I held onto his hand until I was forced out. My name is Chelsea and never in my life time of loving Justin did I think I would write a Bieber experience, never. I started loving Justin in August 2009 when I saw ‘One Time.’ I just fell in love. I have waited ever since that day to meet him and finally on the 28th of February 2013 I did. I was trying since 20th of February when Justin arrived in a city by me, Manchester. I was there for 3 days searching around town for him but of course I had no luck. I tired in my hometown of Liverpool still no luck, but I was front row for the Believe tour! I seriously can’t thank God enough for blessing me with this. I entered BieberFever M&G contest for the Liverpool show, and my friend entered for the Birmingham show. Sadly I didn’t win but she did. That night I got about 123 texts of her telling me, “CHELSEA I’VE WON. WE’RE MEETING JUSTIN BIEBER!” I froze. I just picked up my phone and rang her to make sure this wasn’t some joke. We was both crying on the phone together and I really couldn’t believe I was meeting my idol. On the 28th, we left Liverpool at about 2 p.m. and got there for about 4 p.m. As soon as we got there we ran straight to the box office and got our wristbands. We waited until 6 to meet Justin as he was late but before I went through that curtain, his bodyguard took his present off me and said, “He will get it.” I went in the curtain and there was my life, standing right in front of me. The boy I look up to and have supported for all these years. I just ran to him and gave him this big hug and said, “I love you so much Justin.” He said, “Aw I love you too sweetheart.” I was gone. I felt like I was in a dream. I ran to his side and kept hold of his back so I couldn’t move and he was pulling me in towards him. I looked at him and he smirked at me while rubbing my back. I kept telling him I loved him and he started laughing because I was repeating myself. Knowing I made Justin laugh is something I’ll never forget. I also thanked him for everything and he just kept saying “thank you” and “love you.” After the picture I turned and went to give Justin another hug but security grabbed me and pulled me out. Justin just looked at them with a face you can’t explain but I knew that he was angry. I looked back at him and shouted “Justin,” and he winked and smiled. I broke down in tears after that, it didn’t seem real. He really did look so happy in that meet and greet and I bet it was because his birthday was the next day. I met him on the last day of him being 18-years-old, that makes it even better. Seeing him smile, smirk, hug, laugh with me is the best thing ever and I couldn’t of asked for a better meet and greet. This is a memory I will keep and treasure forever and I am so grateful for meeting him. My name is Sabine, I live in Montreal, Canada and on November 26th 2012 I met Justin. Here’s my story, it probably won’t touch your hearts as much as others stories did, but it was the best day of my life and I’ll never forget it. I’ve been a belieber for a really long time, and the last time Justin came to my city I didn’t make it. Finally when Believe tour dates came out I bought a membership to BieberFever and bought VIP passes. You have no idea how happy that made me. I’ve been here supporting him through every high and low and I’ve never let him down and he’s never let me down. When I’m down, I listen to his songs or watch his interviews and I feel much better. He literally gave me the motivation to get up every morning because I knew his concert was coming. People don’t understand how much he means to me, he’s honestly my happiness.
