VIDEO: Star Wars Marijuana Strain Will Take You to a Galaxy Far, Far Away

So, what’s the only thing that could make those Star Wars pies even more delicious? How about a little Star Wars weed to whet your appetite? Yes, of course that exists! A medical marijuana dispensary called the San Diego Organic Wellness Association has developed a “Skywalker” (get it?) OG strain of marijuana, which apparently has a “piny, skunky smell” and will not make you fall asleep immediately. For more details, I’ll let Brittany take it away in the video review below. For more hardcore geeks, the SDOWA also offers a “Death Star” strain. I kid you not.

Dina Lohan Threatens Lawsuit Against Lindsay-Inspired Film

That was quick . Just one day after it was reported that model/socialite Lydia Hearst would star as a Lindsay Lohan-like actress in Dogs in Pocketbooks comes word that Lindsay’s mother is prepping a lawsuit. “[ Dogs ] is definitely based on Lindsay’s likeness,” said Dina Lohan. “We have a very strong case. It’s shadowing E*TRADE.” The brokerage firm was sued by the Lohans after they aired a commercial featuring a baby Lindsay. For her part, Hearst is backing slowly away from this never-happening indie. “As for any theatrical roles I am currently filming Two Jacks directed by Bernard Rose,” she wrote on Twitter. “My next project is Catwalk by Tony Hickox. At this time I am not officially signed onto any other projects.” [ Daily Intel ]

May the Crust Be With You: Star Wars-Inspired Pies Look Tasty, Nerdy

Never did being a geek look so delicious! Fresh into Movieline HQ comes photographic evidence of some Star Wars -inspired pies made by a member of our extended family. For my money, the Darth Apple one looks best, but your mileage may vary depending on what you think of apple pie. (If only Steve Jobs could invent a scratch-and-sniff computer screen; now that would be some useful technology. Anyway!) Tyler Perry’s Teen Robber Goes to Jail

Is breaking into the home of a celebrity just to hang the new thing? Just a week after a couple of men broke into 50 Cent’s home to party, comes news that a teen girl and two others were caught trespassing on the Atlanta property of Tyler Perry. The 18-year-old girl was charged with prowling and criminal trespass for entering Perry’s home late last week. She’s since been released, but two other suspects are still at-large. Expect this to wind up in the next Madea Goes to Jail movie. [ AP ]

It Doesn’t Get Better: Richard Chamberlain Thinks Gay Actors Should Stay in the Closet

Much was made in recent weeks about the sexuality of John Travolta and Kevin Spacey , but whatever their preference, one actor thinks they should continue to keep that bit of personal information personal. “For an actor to be working is a kind of miracle, because most actors aren’t, so it’s just silly for a working actor to say, ‘Oh, I don’t care if anybody knows I’m gay’ — especially if you’re a leading man,” Richard Chamberlain told The Advocate . “Personally, I wouldn’t advise a gay leading man-type actor to come out.”

Steve Martin Gives Funniest Performance in Years at Jury Duty (Via Twitter)

Everyone who has been complaining that Steve Martin isn’t funny anymore or talks too much about art might want to check out his Twitter feed, which he is constantly updating this week from jury duty. For example: “REPORT FROM JURY DUTY : defendant looks like a murderer. GUILTY. Waiting for opening remarks.” Then later: “REPORT FROM JURY DUTY : guy I thought was up for murder turns out to be defense attorney. I bet he murdered someone anyway.”

How Many Signs of the Apocalypse Can You Count in Pauly D’s Jersey Shore Spin-Off Press Release?

I lost count somewhere around 12, or it might have been 13. There’s a certain punch-drunkness that follows the words “Beat Dat Beat,” to say nothing of the dizzying haze accompanying MTV’ s official confirmation of a Jersey Shore spinoff featuring Pauly D. Kudos to anyone who can get through the last paragraph standing up.
