Jay-Z and Kevin Hart seemed to be staging a “candid” moment of them laughing court side in Oracle Arena. The moment came off as phony and pretentious to fans. I’m just gonna start off by saying it is SO TRUE that you should NOT give up, because I literally had NO tickets, and definitely NO meet and greets. I’ve been a belieber since 2009, before everything. I have seriously been waiting since then to meet Justin. I went to the My World tour because I was lucky enough to buy tickets before it sold out but this year, the Believe Tour sold out in minutes. I couldn’t afford tickets at all but I decided to join BieberFever because I could enter a contest and probably get a chance to finally meet Justin. I took a picture of all my Bieber merch and sent it in. The day before the concert came and I was freaking out . I was so mad at myself for the picture I had sent cause I thought it wasn’t good enough. Then at around 8:00 p.m. I decided to check my email for some reason and saw and email from BieberFever and stopped breathing. I was crying and shaking . I freaked my Grandma out because I yelled. I NEVER win contests so I was in so much shock. I was praying about this for so long and I just couldn’t believe it. My mom finally agreed to take me to the arena. My mom, brother and I got to the Oracle Arena at 9:30 a.m. and we were not the first people there. We waited around for a while, and I even had a sign that said “I don’t have tickets. Never Say Never?” and held it the entire time. We met all of the dancers so that was pretty cool. Then at 12-ish we hear someone say, “Fredos over there!” so we go towards the gate and saw him! He had to leave though because he was on the phone and everyone was screaming. Justin was still asleep on the bus I think so everyone was singing trying to get him out. Soon after Justin came out and was riding his segway by the fans, it was so crazy! After that, Scooter, Kenny, Dan, all came out and said hey . Then it was time to get our M&G wristbands. I was so nervous. I took my brother and he was wearing a shirt that said ‘Swaggy.’ I don’t know if Justin even saw it haha. Then it was our turn, and I couldn’t stand next to Justin because we had to be in groups of six. It was still the most amazing experience ever. I walked in and he was saying hello to everyone and we took the picture fast. I was ALREADY being pulled out but I stayed because I wasn’t gonna leave without hugging Justin. The only words I said were, “Justin can I hug you?” and he was still talking to someone and once he was done, he turned around and hugged me! He was so nice to every single one of his fans. He is so amazing. I will NEVER understand how someone can hate on him without even meeting him or anything. The security dude was telling me to go already so I had to, but I had to talk to Fredo first cause he was there! I told him I had bought him Oreos and asked if he was gonna go outside and he was so nice. He was holding my hand the entire time, I don’t know how I was talking. So finally I left to go outside. I was shaking so bad and everyone kept asking how he smelt like and everything. Then a radio station there played OLLG and I cried so much. I cannot believe I finally met him. Then an hour later I started freaking out because I thought I was going to miss the concert. I am SO GRATEFUL THAT I GOT TO MEET JUSTIN – don’t get me wrong. But, I wanted to go so bad. I walked around the arena looking for someone in the crew, praying so much. I did not give up and I refused to leave. I stood by the gate where Fredo and Justin had been earlier and there was 2 girls there who were waiting for Fredo. We just started talking, and a while after the show had started. Then Alfredo and Scooter both came outside and started talking to us! Scooter was like, “Have you three talked to each other?” We said yeah and he’s like, “Okay, well I think you 3 should bond more… inside.” I once again stopped breathing, like what is going on!? HE GAVE US TICKETS. That doesn’t happen to me! Scooter kept telling us we needed to get inside so I didn’t get a picture with him, but I hugged him and he is so nice. I finally decided to look at the ticket and saw that we were in ROW 5! The concert was just the most perfect thing ever. Justin did amazing, he touched my hand and yes of course I did freak out. I cried during ‘Be Alright’ and I was just to thankful for the entire day. I cannot thank Scooter, Justin, and Alfredo enough too. I also still have the heart we held up for Avalanna, my ticket, my signs, everything. This honestly proves to just not give up because you never know what can happen. -@BayAreaBookSign More here: I’m just gonna start off by saying it is SO TRUE that you should…
My name is Jocelyn, and the best day of my life was October 6, 2012 . My friend Jasmine and I signed up for BieberFever.com. And on September 29th, we submitted our Best Bieber Collection picture. On October 5th we went to school like any other day. I refreshed my email NONSTOP during 6th period, hoping to receive an email from BF. No luck. I went over to Jasmine’s house after school, where again, I refreshed NONSTOP! Then, I refreshed it once more, and there was a new email in my inbox! It read “Congratulations Jocelyn!” AND I SCREAMED AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS AND RAN TO GET JASMINE! I showed her the email and we both screamed and jumped around and eventually broke into tears. It stated that I have won 2 meet & greet passes for the concert in Oakland tomorrow! It was the best way to end our day. *FAST FORWARD* We arrived at the Oracle arena around 2:00 p.m. There were already so many people waiting by the gates where the tour buses were. My mom, my stepdad, Jasmine, and I walked around to the ticket booth and stood in line to pick up our wristbands. Until we heard some screaming coming from the tour buses! My mom said go ahead and check it out and we RAN to the gates. It was Kenny on his segway. He was picking up the OLLG crown. He was totally teasing us with it! We stayed there longer and saw Scrappy, Scooter, and Carly. We went back, got our wristbands, and waited in line for the M&G. While waiting in line, we made friends with a little boy and his mom. She’s with Moms4Bieber! Anyways, Scooter came out while we were waiting in line. He was with family so he wasn’t taking pics. Then Scrappy came by and we took a picture with him. Finally, it was our turn to meet Justin. Kenny was letting people through the curtains. I said “Hi Kenny!” and he said “Hey! How’s it going?” I said “Doin good!” Then Mike said “Okay next group!” and my heart started racing so fast! Kenny pulled back the curtain and I saw a beautiful boy wearing a black hat with a v-neck and a light blue button up. I was freaking out! Everyone gathered around Justin and Mike snapped the picture. Then I asked for a hug and he said “Of course!” OMG. Then Jasmine and I personally gave him the letters we wrote him. Then we said our “Byes!” and “Love you’s!” And right after we left him we cried our eyes out! It was so weird! It’s something you can’t control! Later, we found our seats. They were the second to last row on the floor but they were great seats! We had the aisle seats right next to the control area! People like Alfredo, Scooter, Jon Chu, Allison, Moshe, Lil Twist and Nick Demoura were walking past us all night! (Nick was wearing the Believe Tour key around his neck) The concert was AMAZING! I felt like I was watching a movie. There were explosions, videos, and props that set each song. The crowd held up pink hearts during ‘Be Alright’ in memory of our little angel Avalanna. I got video of Jon and Scooter dancing to ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘Baby’ it was #secute! Then, while Justin was wrapping up the show, I saw Scooter tap Jon on the shoulder. Jon turned around, smiled, and gave Scooter a high five. It was so sweet! Couldn’t help but say “AWWWWW!” My night was perfect. Only in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would meet Justin Drew Bieber. NEVER SAY NEVER. People always told me how I would never meet Justin no matter how hard I tried, and LOOK AT ME NOW! There’s endless amounts of hope, always #Believe in yourself and you can make anything happen! Thank you Justin for making my dreams come true! -Jocelyn (@JBnvrsaysnvr) Follow this link: My name is Jocelyn, and the best day of my life was October 6,…
I’m actually so surprised I finally get to write one of these. My dream FINALLY came true after 3 years. A few months ago I had bought tickets for Justin’s concert on October 6th, 2012 in Oakland, CA. I was sec 116, row 17, seat 10. About a week and a half before the concert I heard of a contest Bieberfever.com was having. The contest was to post a picture of all of your Bieber stuff and 10 people were chosen to meet Justin at your concert. I sent an email with my picture of all of my stuff and had to wait until October 5th, a day before the concert to find out if I won. All day Friday I checked my email in every class but there was nothing. On my way to a football game with my friend later that day I checked my email once more and there it was “Congratulations Natasha! You are now officially invited to a meet and greet with Justin” My heart was beating faster than ever and I was hyperventilating. I was so excited. That night I made posters and shirts for the concert. I arrived at the Oracle Arena at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday to maybe get a glimpse of Justin..way more than just that happened. When I first arrived there were about 10 other people there at maximum. All of the sudden people started coming out of the tour busses that were there and it was Carlena, Jon Boogie, and a few other of Justin’s dancers. I was able to have them all sign one of my posters and take pictures . Then 2 white tour busses arrive and it was CARLY! She waved to all of us! Later, Nick Demoura and DJ Tay James came out and I got them to sign my poster and take pictures as well. After that, everyone started screaming and we went over to the VIP section and there he was. Justin Bieber was riding around on a segway inside the VIP parking lot. I was so happy to get a glimpse of him. It was about 4 o’clock when I had to go up to get my meet and greet pass, when all the sudden I heard more screaming and there was Kenny Hamilton! He was on a segway and went pass the crowd and I was able to high five him. Then Scooter came out and I got him to sign my Believe CD. Next I went inside and was in line for the meet and greet and Scooter comes out of the doors and goes outside. When he comes back in I ask for a hug and HE HUGS ME. Then we are let in to meet Justin, sadly we had to be put in groups of 6 but I’m so grateful for my experience. After our picture was taken, I GOT TO HUG HIM. I GOT TO HUG JUSTIN DREW BIEBER and then I got to see Alfredo again. I was screaming, I was so happy! After that I was waiting for the concert to start and it was amazing. It was my 3rd Justin Bieber concert. I am so happy that this has happened to me. I am the luckiest girl in the universe. -@dibsonharry (I’m the one in the Bieber hat!) Almost three years ago we posted the story of this woman, who put her ex-boyfriend on blast after he decided to reconcile with his wife following their 8 1/2 year relationship… It looks like she wasn’t nearly finished humiliating him. Woman Who Put Lover On Blast Via Billboard Makes Movie About Affair Via NY Daily News reports: Charles Phillips, the former president of Oracle Corp. and a member of President Obama’s Economic Advisory Board, sent the Harlem International Film Festival a cease-and-desist letter this week trying to block Thursday’s premiere of “The Glamorous Lie,” a documentary by his ex-mistress YaVaughnie Wilkins. Wilkins, who in 2010 vindictively plastered shots of her and Phillips on pricey billboards in Times Square, Atlanta and San Francisco after their 81/2-year relationship ended, didn’t let the letter scare her. Neither did the Harlem Film Festival. Nasri Zacharia, a festival spokesman, says the staff for the tiny, 100-person Maysles Cinema, set to screen the film at 7 p.m., was initially worried because the still-married Phillips’ lawyers also targeted the theater. “We were on hold for a while, and the theater where we are screening the world premiere was concerned, but we managed to alleviate the problems,” says Zacharia. He says Wilkins agreed to take responsibility for all liability and is “standing behind the film.” Wilkins tells Confidenti@l that her ex-beau’s “cease-and-desist letter is saying it’s an unauthorized documentary, but my lawyers are countering that he’s a public figure and I have a right to tell my story.” Wilkins is also in a civil court battle with the film’s director, who she claims is now in cahoots with Phillips. Her ex, she said, tried to buy the documentary to kill it. “If Charles thinks there is something in there that misrepresents our relationship, then he should do his own documentary and tell his own story,” says Wilkins. A spokesman for Phillips, who is now the CEO of software company Infor, did not respond to a request for comment. But back when he was the butt of Wilkins’ rage after he decided to reconcile with wife Karen, he said this: “I had an 81/2-year serious relationship with YaVaughnie Wilkins … The relationship with Ms. Wilkins has since ended and we both wish each other well.” Cry him a damn river… You do the crime, you pay the time, over and over again apparently. But seriously, we have to imagine that with all her resources there has to be something more constructive YaVaughnie could be doing with her time and money. Do you agree? Photo Credit: Sam Costanza
