One of Usher ‘s herpes accusers is reconsidering going forward with her $20 million lawsuit after suddenly ditching her attorney in the case … TMZ has learned. Laura Helm ‘s attorney, Lisa West , filed a motion Thursday to withdraw from the case, saying she could no longer “effectively represent” her client. However, sources connected to Helm tell us what really happened, in plain terms, is Helm fired her lawyer. And the bigger news — we’re told Helm is now uncertain about continuing the legal battle with Usher at all. His attorney has already filed a motion to dismiss the case and for now, Helm has until November 5 to respond. READ MORE

A ctivists are getting paid from protests surrounding the death of Kenneka Jenkins in a suburban Chicago hotel earlier this month, according to the teenager’s mother. “I’m ending y’all’s agendas that’s not righteous toward my child,” Tereasa Martin accused the activists in a video posted to Facebook on Sunday night. READ MORE: Kenneka Jenkins’ Mother Announces Funeral Date Martin’s claim seemingly targeted one person in particular who has been organizing daily protests outside of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Rosemont, Illinois, where Jenkins’ body was found frozen in a walk-in storage freezer on September 9. “Who else could she have been talking about?” Jedidiah Brown asked the Chicago Sun Times during a recent interview. Brown told the Sun Times that he had raised more than $6,000 to supplement any relevant legal fees. Still, Brown went ahead and organized a protest for Tuesday despite Martin’s calls for the demonstrations to end. 5440 n river road @6pm Tomorrow! Meanwhile, details of the Rosemont Police Department’s investigation into Jenkins’ death have been scarce while authorities await autopsy results. The cause of death has not yet been revealed and there is no surveillance footage of her entering the freezer. The absence of both have prompted a whirlwind of conspiracy theories , which authorities have said only slowed their investigation. According to a bombshell new report, Angelina Jolie isn’t simply ready to move on from Brad Pitt… … she’s ready to move on from Brad Pitt and head to the altar with another man! The cover story of the latest In Touch Weekly screams about an “Angelina Shocker,” as editors try to make the case that Jolie is “GETTING MARRIED ALREADY.” Finally, the tabloid promises, the “real reason” why Angelina dumped Brad has been revealed. Indeed, “Angelina’s getting married,” an unnamed, allegedly close friend supposedly tells the magazine, although this pal refuses to divulge the name of Jolie’s fiance. But he’s a “wealthy, 40-something Brit,” the insider swears, going on to describe this lucky fellow as a “philanthropist business man.” Hmmm… Jolie is very into philanthropy. It’s kind of her things these days. Might there be some truth to this seemingly ridiculous rumor?!? This same story says none of Jolie’s six children have met her mystery man just yet, despite a wedding evidently being in the works. How does Pitt feel about his long-time wife preparing to exchange vows with her new lover, mere months after she filed to divorce him? The actor was “knocked for a loop,” In Touch reports, although he’ll need to wrap his head around this engagement soon. Jolie is “trying to speed up the divorce so she can tie the knot as quickly as possible,” the report reads. The source also goes on to state that a “quickie wedding would be the ultimate payback” for Angelina. And why would Jolie be interesting in getting revenge against Pitt? The star filed to legally end her marriage to Pitt because she believed him to be a bad father. There was some kind of altercation on board a private airplane that resulted in the FBI being called in to investigate Pitt for charges of assault. No evidence was ever discovered to support this claim. Just last week, meanwhile, Radar Online broke its own bombshell, alleging that a man DID actually come between Jolie and Pitt . But it wasn’t a lover. It was Jolie’s own brother, James Haven! He’s always been unusually tight with his famous sister and yet another anonymous friend told the website that Pitt grew sick and tired of their awkward relationship. “James was so close to them that he was actually living with them,” author Ian Halperin said in an interview to promote his new film, Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina. “It put Brad over the edge. Catelynn Lowell has found herself in the news lately, which is good — yay, publicity! Unfortunately, the reason she's been in the news is because she pretended to be pregnant before posting a fake ultrasound photo, which upset many of her fans — boo, lies! Earlier this month, she tweeted at her husband and fellow Teen Mom OG star, Tyler Baltierra, that she was “ready for another baby.” Tyler agreed, and then a little bit later, Catelynn hopped over to Instagram and shared the image above. It bothered a lot of people because for one, the whole reason Catelynn is famous is because she got pregnant at 16. That means that her fans are invested in her uterus, and she shouldn't toy with that. Another issue is that people as a whole are getting over pregnancy jokes, because infertility is tough and dumb social media posts don't make it easier. But now, in a new interview, Catelynn is explaining what really happened with that whole mess. And it's just as confusing as ever. She says that she shared the fake ultrasound in the first place because she was tired of hearing pregnancy rumors about herself . “Quit f-cking with me and I won't do it again,” she advises her followers. She adds that while she would love to be pregnant again, her struggle with postpartum depression makes the idea of having another child a little scary. However, she's talked about the issue with her counselor, who's advised her to come up with a strong plan for her next pregnancy, so that if she does suffer from postpartum depression again, she and her family can catch it quicker. The idea of having a game plan is a comfort for sure, she says, but she's still scared. And that all makes sense, right? But then she's asked which OG mom is going to be the next to have a baby, and, without one single doubt, she says it will be her. “Tyler won't even know,” she says. “I'll make him wait and surprise him, and I'll do another gender reveal …” So which is it, Catelynn?! If you're not going to have another baby for a while, then why do you have all these plans? So maybe she's pregnant, maybe she's not (OK, probably she's not). Maybe she's planning on being pregnant soon. No matter what, we're eating out of the palm of her hand, so she's already winning at life if you think about it. In his first official speech as Housing and Urban Development Secretary, Ben Carson made a few controversial remarks while addressing HUD employees in Washington, D.C. on Monday. What sort of controversial remarks? The sort that make you wonder how Carson has lasted this long as a human being… … let alone how he was confirmed as a member of a Presidential administration. “That's what America is about, a land of dreams and opportunity,” Carson said as part of his rambling speech, adding: “There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. “But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters, might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.” You may want to read that second sentence again. And maybe again after that. Because Ben Carson really did refer to slaves – the same slaves who were violently snatched from their homes, chained up, tossed into a ship and then forced to do a white person's bidding – as “immigrants” who wanted to come to America and who simply worked hard for a low wage. Shortly after the video below went viral, celebrities jumped on Twitter in shock and the opposite of awe. “Ben Carson..please read or watch Roots, most immigrants come here VOLUNTARILY, cant't really say the same about the slaves..they were stolen,” Whoopi Goldberg wrote in response, while Samuel L. In recent weeks, there’s been so much attention paid to the possibility Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorce that it’s easy to forget about the other major heartbreak in Kim’s life. You may have heard the hilarious rumor that Beyonce went off on Kim and instructed the reality star to never contact her again, thus bringing an end to Kim’s endless campaign to become Bey’s bestie. The reports surfaced just days after Kanye attacked Jay Z in a bizarre onstage tirade, in which the erratic rapper slammed his mentor (and Beyonce’s husband) as a disloyal friend. Granted, the rant took place just days before Kanye was hospitalized for emotional issues, but Bey and Jay seem to have a low tolerance for public trash talk. Sure, they can throw shade at one another (See: pretty much every lyric in Lemonade ), but they’re not about to put up with any crap from the likes of Kimye. Surprisingly, however, it seems the Carters are actually open to the idea of giving Kim and Kanye another chance to prove themselves. Several media outlets are reporting that the Wests were recently spotted paying a visit to Jay and Bey’s SoCal home. “Kanye’s in a great place and Jay is a very mature and forgiving person,” a source tells People magazine. “The relationship he and Kanye have is very strong.” Given the circumstances, it’s not hard to see why Jay may have been willing to overlook Kayne’s latest faux pas, but it couldn’t have been easy. It’s not every day that a former friend takes the stage in front to of tens of thousands of people and tells them that he’s afraid you’re gonna put a hit out on him. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt really like spending time in London . That much is pretty clear when you consider the fact they both rent a home there. That same home will be left there, ready and waiting for the family to arrive. There’s been a lot of drama for Angelina and Brad since it was revealed that they were divorcing just over a week ago. There’s been secrets about their lives popping up pretty much everywhere. One of the more pressing secrets appears to surround what went down when Brad allegedly got heated with he and Angelina’s eldest child, Maddox. There has been much speculation about what really happened. It was announced that Brad would be investigated for child abuse , but it has since been revealed that Angelina does not want him prosecuted with it. How nice of her. This shows that she just wants the divorce to be over and try to regain some normalcy in her life. The kids must be confused about what’s going on. Though, maybe Brad not being around is all too common for them. With regards to the London home, Angelina is apparently not looking to move there full-time. There was a misunderstanding, that Kandi and I had. I can’t say whether this was on or off camera.” “It was definitely a misunderstanding,” she added. “But no I didn’t have a breakdown.
