American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 10 Recap: Another One Bites the Dust

It was back to the 2016 Presidential Election on American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 10 .  When the episode got underway, we picked up with a flashback that took us to the final debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.  That was the night Kai realized he wanted world domination and he was going to find a way to make it happen … even if it meant killing multiple people to get there.  Kai went at it with one of Winter’s friends because of their differing views about Americans. He smacked the chick in the face, and that’s how he found himself in anger management. This meeting helped connect the dots somewhat when it emerged that the coach was Bebe Babbitt. She was the woman who tried to reel the women in a few weeks back, but it was revealed she was working with Kai.  She seemed to think that Kai needed to know his true purpose in the world was to give up his own life to help all American women have their way.  “The women of the world are waiting for you, legs spread, on their backs,” she told him. “Impregnate them! Help them give birth to their rage!” Back in the present, a protestor hit Kai in the face at one of his political rallies, so it was up there with the other crazy ones that have occurred this season.  Kai then told his cult about Charles Manson, and noted that he “wasn’t thinking big enough.” Kai then took his latest propaganda to Planned Parenthood, and everyone stabbed the man working there.  As if that was not bad enough, they wrote: “Stop the Slaughter” on the door. From then on, it became apparent to Kai that someone from the cult was about to try and take him down.  Bebe visited him to find out what he was going to do now that he’s gone off course.  “You really thought I was going to drown myself in female rage?” he asked. “You thought I’d die for some dead bitch’s cause? … Women can’t run things. They’re too emotional, too irrational. … Women need to be grabbed by their p–s and led, preferably into the kitchen to make me a sandwich.” Ally appeared with a gun and took Bebe right out of the equation. Yes, we’re still surprised at how crazy Ally has become. For Ally, her revenge plan was not over.  She made it look like Winter was recording conversations with Kai and that meant Kai thought his sister could be the one ready to jump ship.  Kai murdered Winter, and it solidified the fact that Kai and Ally are a match made in heaven. What will they do next?! Hit the comments below! View Slideshow: TV Star Salaries: Who Makes The Most In Drama?

Ed Westwick: Under Police Investigation for Rape

The Los Angeles Police Department has opened an investigation into Ed Westwick. Specifically, the Los Angeles Police Department has opened an investigation into Ed Westwick in relation to accusations against the actor of rape. These troubling charges were leveled against the ex-Gossip Girl star by actress Kristina Cohen , who shared a lengthy Facebook post on Monday. In her social media message, Cohen said she met Westwick at the actor’s house during a dinner party she attended with her boyfriend three years ago. The boyfriend was a producer and was friends with Westwick. Cohen alleges she was woken up from a nap in a guest bedroom by Westwick, writing in upsetting detail: [He] on top of me, his fingers entering my body. I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to fuck me. I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me. Cohen went on to say her boyfriend pressured her to keep quiet about the incident, but she has finally come forward with the accusation now because she’s been inspired by all the women who have done the same against Harvey Weinstein . (The veteran movie producer has been accused over the past few weeks of assault and sexual misconduct by over 50 actresses.) Concluded Cohen on Facebook: I hope my coming forward will help others to know that they are not alone, that they are not to blame, and it is not their fault. Just as the other women and men coming forward have helped me to realize the same. I hope that my stories and the stories of others help to reset and realign the toxic environments and power imbalances that have created these monsters. In response to this rape claim, Westwick issued the following statement: “I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on a woman. I certainly have never committed rape.” Cohen, meanwhile, did more than just write on Facebook; she filed a police report on Tuesday. The LAPD would not confirm Cohen’s identity, but public information officer Tony Im told People Magazine that Westwick was named as a suspect in the report. “Suspect forced victim to have sexual intercourse inside his residence … three years ago,” the report reads, according to Deadline, which broke the news of this investigation. Westwick is best known for his lead role on The CW’s Gossip Girl. Cohen appeared on the series Ladies Like Us from 2013 through 2015. We’ll update this story with more details if or when more news breaks. View Slideshow: #MeToo: Stars Share Stories of Sexual Harassment, Assault

Mimi Weinstein??? Mariah Carey’s Ex-Security Alleges She Sexually Harassed Him And Called Him A Nazi

Image via Splash Mariah Carey’s Ex-Security To Sue For Sexual Harassment And Non-Payment Mariah Carey’s former security firm is suing her for several things including sexual harassment, being a deadbeat and launching racially-charge tirades. According to TMZ , Michael Anello is the owner of a company that Mariah hired to guard her body from 2015-2017 and he appears to be ready to file a lawsuit against her. Anello claims that Mariah still owes him $221,329.51, in addition to another $511,000 because Mariah promised him an additional 2-year contract. Anello also accused Mariah of “humiliating” him by constantly referring to him as a “Nazi”, “skinhead”, KKK and white supremacist. Anello also claims Mariah “wanted to be surrounded with black guys, not white people.” In regards to the sexual harassment, Anella says Carey once summoned him to her hotel room where she was half-naked in a sheer negligee that was open for viewing. When he allegedly tried to leave, she forced him to move her luggage. Carey’s folks say they are agreeable to pay their debt, but Anello did not agree the amount. They also say they know nothing about sexual harassment claims. Guess we’ll have to see what comes of all this.

Lady Gaga and Christian Carino: Engaged!

While not every lady spends her days gazing forlornly out the window, hoping that a dashing man will come by and sweep her off her feet, that’s still a perfectly acceptable way of finding your happiness. And it looks like happiness has found Lady Gaga. Remember reports that Christian Carino asked Lady Gaga’s father for his blessing to marry Lady Gaga? Well, guess what?! Us Weekly reports that Lady Gaga and Christian Carino are engaged ! So, as we told you back in July, Christian Carino was spending time with Lady Gaga and her family. Not every boyfriend — even serious ones — gets along with his girlfriend’s family, but apparently Christian didn’t have a hard time getting along with Gaga’s family. We were admittedly feeling less than comfortable with the report that he asked Lady Gaga’s father for his blessing to propose to her. There’s a lot about that antiquated custom that speaks of unequal gender dynamics. Basically, we tend to associate that sort of thing with, say, the Duggar fertility cult, where daughters are the property of their father until he agrees to transfer that property to an approved husband. (Gross) But it may be that Christian Carino was just testing the waters and making sure that he wasn’t going to upset Lady Gaga’s relatives and that they didn’t think that he was taking advantage of her somehow. After all, Christian Carino and Lady Gaga started dating back in February. That is not a long time to be in a relationship. Whatever it was, it apparently went over well — because they apparently got engaged over the summer. We hope that news about that breaking didn’t spoil whatever surprise Christian Carino had planned. Us reports that the couple’s current focus is, of course, on Lady Gaga’s health . Lady Gaga has fibromyalgia, which you’ve probably heard about through commercials for prescription medicines if nowhere else. Fibromyalgia is an agonizing illness that causes widespread muscle pain and tenderness. Other symptoms can include fatigue, memory problems, and mood shifts and disorders. Fibromyalgia is a chronic ailment, meaning that it can come and go with flare-ups that are difficult if not impossible to predict. Chronic illnesses absolutely suck, folks. We don’t know how many symptoms Lady Gaga is experiencing with fibromyalgia. Every patient is different. She’s currently focused upon recovery. Honestly, we think that it’s great that Christian Carino and Lady Gaga are engaged even with this knowledge. Unfortunately, a lot of people — whether they’re dating or married — seem to step back when their partner develops an illness. Chronic ailments, in particular, seem to send some loved ones running for the hills. It’s sad, but true. Just look at the suspicious timing of The Weeknd ending things with Selena Gomez . Reports say that he started to lose interest right around when she got her kidney transplant. We’re really rooting for Lady Gaga and Christian Carino, though. Maybe they’ll take that whole “in sickness and in health” thing seriously. Lady Gaga has done so much good for the world. We don’t just mean her music, though good music makes the world a better place just by spreading passion, art, inspiration, and joy. She’s been a prominent proponent of LGBT+ rights from day one, using her voice and platform to stand up for minority rights has done an incalculable amount of good for the world. She deserves good in her life and she deserves love. We just look forward to when she and Christian confirm this with an announcement. But that will come at a time of their choosing. Dustin Hoffman: Accused of Groping an Underage Girl!

A few years ago, if you saw a name of a beloved celebrity trending, you clicked because you worried that they might be dead. These days, in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal , you see their name pop up, and you worry that they might have committed sexual assault. Just today, it came out that director Brett Ratner was accused  of sexual assault by multiple actresses. Well, Dustin Hoffman’s name is trending right now … and, well, he’s still alive.. We might think of Dustin Hoffman, these days, as a living legend. He’s a veteran actor and, up until today, was widely respected. Once upon a time, though, he was a young actor at the top of his game. Anna Graham Hunter has come forward with her story, accusing Dustin Hoffman of sexually harassing her when she was only 17. She shared her story in The Hollywood Reporter . Just because this happened in 1985 does not make this okay, folks. “When I was a senior in high school in New York City, interning as a production assistant on the set of the Death of a Salesman TV film, he asked me to give him a foot massage my first day on set; I did.” Massaging can be entirely non-sexual or pretty explicitly sexual and everything in-between. Because of that ambiguity, we’d say that if you’re going to ask a 17-year-old for a massage, you should probably be their peer — like, say, a classmate. If not, you should be a trustworthy family member. Based upon this, there was no ambiguity about how Dustin Hoffman regarded Anna Graham. “He was openly flirtatious, he grabbed my ass, he talked about sex to me and in front of me.” That’s not appropriate around a 17-year-old or in a workplace. And the butt-grabbing might be the worst part of it. “One morning I went to his dressing room to take his breakfast order; he looked at me and grinned, taking his time. Then he said, ‘I’ll have a hard-boiled egg … and a soft-boiled clitoris.'” Even if he were saying that to a lover, that would be super weird . Speaking to another woman, especially in a work setting and especially a minor, that crosses some serious lines. So how did the other people respond? And how did Anna Graham? “His entourage burst out laughing. I left, speechless. Then I went to the bathroom and cried.” That is heartbreaking. Reflecting back on it all, she summarizes things pretty honestly. “I loved the attention from Dustin Hoffman. Until I didn’t.” Anna Graham brought up letters that she had written to her sister at the time, detailing her life on the set. “When I was walking Dustin to his limo, he felt my ass four times. I hit him each time, hard, and told him he was a dirty old man. He took off his hat and pointed to his head (shaved for the part) and said, ‘No, I’m a dirty young man, I have a full head of hair.'” On February fourth of 1985, her letter details how things got worse … but also better. “Today this business got scarier. Or at least less appealing. This morning when I asked Dustin what he wanted for breakfast, he said something that beat even his lows. It was worse than anything anyone has ever said to me on the street.” Well, we know what he said — the “soft-boiled” line. Creepy. “It was so gross I couldn’t say anything. I just turned around and walked out.” That’s a very understandable reaction. “Then later I tried to get into a serious conversation with Frankie about why Dustin is like that. I don’t know how Dustin knew what we were talking about, but he shouted, ‘Anna! Are you badmouthing me? Anna! Get over here, Anna!’ The whole crew was cracking up, and I ducked behind a set.” There was more fallout. But maybe it was worth it. “Later, I was delivering lunches when John, Stephen, and Dustin came down the hall and he shouted, ‘Anna! So you think I’m a sexist pig, huh? Anna!’ The whole fucking studio heard him. So I told him that I didn’t appreciate his wandering hands or his comments. He apologized and said he would stop.” She said that he did in fact stop, and that he started acting towards her the way that he acted when his wife was around. Gentlemanly, for the most part. On February 20th of 1985, she reached her conclusion about him. “No one is 100 percent good or bad. Dustin’s a pig, but I like him a lot.” The actor has responded. In a statement to the Associated Pres s, Dustin Hoffman issued a sincere-sounding apology. “I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation.” It’s not clear if he read her account, but he clearly got the gist of it. “I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.” This is one of those semi-apologies that we so often see in Hollywood. It could mean that he’s not sorry at all … but it more likely means that he’s genuinely sorry about it, now that he’s 30 years older and wiser, but still doesn’t want to admit explicitly to anything. Lawsuits are real things, folks. This is complicated. The time at which this took place and the act that Anna Graham appreciated his attention — up to a point — doesn’t mean anything. After all, there’s no statute of limitations on something being bad. Sexual harassment isn’t excusable just because it happened a long time ago. It’s possible that Dustin Hoffman misread some things (a lot of men take friendliness as genuine flirtation), but again, that’s an explanation and not an excuse. Like Anna Graham, we find it hard to hate Dustin Hoffman for this — after all, what she describes is much more good-natured than the menacing predatory accounts that we’ve heard from actresses like Selma Blair or in Lupita Nyong’o’s Weinstein story . Those were stories about calculated predators who lured women under the guise of work and then repeatedly tried to pressure them into unwanted sex. But let’s be very clear — this story about Dustin Hoffman is the story of an older man sexually harassing a minor. It’s a story about other people ignoring it. Everything that she describes is part of the same toxic, predatory problem that pervades every #MeToo story that we’ve read.. Steven Seagal: Female Journalists Are Dumb B–ches

Steven Seagal might seem like too much of a caricature to actually exist, but we regret to remind you that he is all too real. The actor, who has openly pondered a political run and shared some of his truly frightening political views, is only the latest to be accused of sexual harassment. But newly revealed audio of Steven Seagal has him ranting angrily about female journalists in what has been characterized as a misogynistic rant. You can listen below for yourself. What's the most recent news that we've heard from this guy? Probably when Steven Seagal slammed the NFL for “disrespecting the flag.” There were a couple of problems with his complaints. One, that's not what the NFL protests are about — they're not sticking up their middle finger at America, they're using the opportunity to protest the killing of unarmed black men by the very police who are supposed to protect them and enforce the law. At this point, we feel like anyone who honestly wants to understand the situation already knows that. Two, if Steven Seagal loves America so much, why does he live in Russia? Russia isn't just another country — it's a hostile foreign power that has actively worked against the United States time after time. And yet Steven Seagal seems to absolutely adore Russia's shameless despot, Vladimir Putin. We don't really need to rehash the election interference that almost no one is denying, right? Or the habit of Vladimir Putin's political enemies have of being poisoned or otherwise dying? (The same happens to journalists investigating Putin and his interests) So Steven Seagal has some pretty controversial opinions, to say the least. That is not, however, the most recent thing that we've heard about Steven Seagal. In the aftermath of the Weinstein sexual harassment scandal , more and more actresses (and actors!) have been coming forward with their #MeToo stories . In many cases, they've revealed instances of sexual harassment and sexual assault. Some women have come forward to add their names to the lists of Harvey Weinstein's accusers. Others have, for a host of reasons, declined to name the men who harassed or assaulted them. Actress Jenny McCarthy, perhaps best known for her ludicrous “medical” beliefs that have mad her name synonymous with the anti-vaxx movement, recently came forward in a podcast. She alleges that Steven Seagal told her to take off her dress during a casting call for one of his films. Just so that you know, folks, that is not appropriate. And Lisa Guerrero, who is now a journalist but was once an actress, told The Hollywood Reporter of her own Steven Seagal encounter . She alleges that in the '90s, Steven Seagal summoned her to his Beverly Hills home for an audition. That's a little weird, so she insisted upon the casting director also being present, so it should be fine, right? Well … Steven Seagal not only seemed surprised to see that casting director with her, but he answered the door in a silk kimono. Now, we're sure that kimonos are very comfy, but if you're not a college student, you should probably put on something other than a robe when people come over. Especially if it's a work thing. Instead, she describes how Steven Seagal sat on a throne-like chair in his robe and watched her audition for 10 minutes. It was fine — he didn't touch her or expose himself. But … what would have happened if she hadn't brought the casting director? While the brief audio clip, which you can listen to below, doesn't provide a whole lot of context, it's pretty damning on its own. You hear Steven Seagal's own voice as he speaks to a male interviewer. “The few times that I had a hard time was usually with women.” That's not a great way to talk about … anything. “When somebody is on tour, a promotional tour, he’s there to talk about his film, not about who he’s f—ing or who he would like to f— or who his wife was with ten years ago.” Those are the explicit versions of normal questions to ask celebrities. “They should go into pornography or something else instead of journalism if they want to hear that s–t. They're a bunch of a—-.” They should “go into pornography” … what?! Does he mean that they should be porn stars or interview porn stars? Both suggestions are absurd. He has some lovely things to say about some unnamed woman. “I won't even dare tell you what I think it is. It was just some dumb b–ch that is a liar and wanted to be sensational.” If someone is saying “some dumb b–ch” and not jokingly referring to themselves or making a totally okay inside joke with a friend … that tells you a lot about their opinions of women. Steven Seagal's decision to style his home and much of his clothing in an Asian manner is fine. He's a little eccentric, sure. But it's fine. As we all learned in 2016, an audio recording of a man with extensive Russian ties saying offensive things about women doesn't necessarily mean that he'll be negatively impacted. Of course … what exactly is Steven Seagal's career these days? So whatever fallout this audio recording might have had during his heyday probably won't amount to anything in 2017. Listen for yourself:

Mayim Bialik Tries (Fails?) to Clarify Controversial Rape Remarks

Mayim Bialik, star of The Big Bang Theory, finds herself in big trouble this week. That’s what happens after you pen an op-ed for The New York Times in which you essentially blame the victims of sexual assault for getting assaulted. Over the weekend, Bialik really did write a guest article for the aforementioned publication in response to the heinous allegations surrounding Harvey Weinstein . With dozens of women having come out and accused the film producer of sexual misconduct, Bialik took the pompous stance that women need to think about how they look and act if they wish to avoid… rape. “As a proud feminist with little desire to diet, get plastic surgery or hire a personal trainer, I have almost no personal experience with men asking me to meetings in their hotel rooms,” Bialik wrote early in her piece, earning immediate scorn. Just… WHAT?!? Who says any of these abused women got plastic surgery? Or were obsessed with dieting? And, even if they did or they were, how does one then claim – in any tiny way, shape or form – that these interests mean a woman deserves to get assaulted or harassed?!? “If you are beautiful and sexy, terrific,” the actress continued, adding: “But having others celebrate your physical beauty is not the way to lead a meaningful life. “And if – like me – you’re not a perfect 10, know that there are people out there who will find you stunning, irresistible and worthy of attention, respect and love. “The best part is you don’t have to go to a hotel room or a casting couch to find them.” There’s no way to interpret this stance in any way aside from Bialik saying women are somewhat to blame for getting raped. Just act uglier and you’ll be ignored , she’s saying. After getting dragged over the Internet coals for her opinion,  Bialik lashed out at the “vicious” critics and said she would address the topic further in a Facebook Live chat on Monday. In this chat, Bialik made an important distinction. “There is no way to avoid being a victim of assault by what you wear or the way you behave,” she said, explaining that her comments were only in reference to the “culture of Hollywood” that she’s experienced over the years. “I was not speaking about assault and rape in general,” she added. She went on to blame Hollywood instead of the actresses who were assaulted themselves, saying the industry encourages women to “present” themselves in a certain way. “I feel protected in my industry more when I keep parts of myself private,” she said. “It gives a feeling of comfort and a layer of protection, but it does not make you immune to assault.” Bialik also apologized and said she was “deeply, deeply hurt” if any person that is actually has been a victim of assault thought she was blaming them in any way. Many did.  Stars such as Patricia Arquette and Gabrielle Union Tweeted in protest of Bialik, sharing their deeply personal stories of rape and assault in order to prove clothing played no role in what happened to them. So at least the actress has tried here to clarify her comments. And, look, perhaps there is some kind of column to write about Hollywood’s standards of beauty and how they place stressful burdens on young female stars. But that issue wasn’t at play in the case of Harvey Weinstein being a grotesque monster. And it’s certainly not what Mayim Bialik  wrote about in her op-ed. Say What Now? TV Chef Sunny Anderson Is Under Fire After Saying Harvey Weinstein Accusers Came Forward Too Late

Source: Slaven Vlasic / Getty Sunny Anderson made a huge misstep on Twitter over the weekend after speaking about her own experiences with sexual harassment while simultaneously bashing Harvey Weinstein ‘s accusers . In a series of now deleted tweets, the Food Network host shared that she once reported a former who has sexually harassed her, saying ‘she’ was brave for turning him in while the women who followed suit afterwards were not  ‘brave’ at all. “When I reported my 1st radio boss for sexual harassment, I felt brave,” she wrote late Saturday night. “The 4 co-workers that came out AFTER me were not brave to me…at all.” Sunny went on to judge her fellow victims, writing “In fact I blamed them and still do for not being BRAVE and reporting him before he had a chance to make one more victim.” She then went on to draw a comparison between her former coworkers and Weinstein’s accusers, saying, “So, as all these women come out of the woodwork…ask yourself… were they complicit in their silence? Complicit when taking payoffs?” she asked. “I refuse to call the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 10th person to come out and say, “me too”, BRAVE. We can call them LATE though … or I can.” As if that weren’t enough, Anderson began to place blame on the victims. “Anyone wondering how/why some of these women even stepped in a hotel room???????Anyone? Are people too afraid to ask?” People out here just using the word “brave” like they know what it is. — SunnyAnderson (@SunnyAnderson) October 15, 2017 Obviously, folks took it upon themselves to step into Ms. Anderson’s mentions and issue a quick wake up call: Sis, as someone who long supports your career, everything abt this thread is wrong. It's victim blaming, rape culture-y, and so violent. — Jenn M. Jackson (@JennMJack) October 15, 2017 Sunny Anderson is a great example of how folks move the bar to blame women for powerful abusive men. — Rod (@rodimusprime) October 15, 2017 You aren't better, smarter, braver or stronger than the quiet women. You're luckier. Try not to be arrogant and judgmental about it. — J (@LibertyBelleJ) October 15, 2017 “Quiet women” are women who are abused, scared, threatened with losing their jobs, have lost their jobs, have been murdered. — Sarah (@Telsquire) October 15, 2017 After catching heat for her comments, Anderson quickly backtracked with an apology. I've deleted my obviously polarizing & offensive statement. As a victim & warrior against sexual harassment in the work place, I apologize. — SunnyAnderson (@SunnyAnderson) October 15, 2017 Repeat after me: #thinkbeforeyoutweet IMAGE CREDIT: Getty
