Although it’s not official (and won’t be announced until tomorrow, April 13), the word on the street is that Jennifer Lopez has topped People Magazine’s prestigious “Most Beautiful” list for this year’s edition, and she has got the gig of cover girl! If this does turn out to be true, she is in very good company, with stars like Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie and Iman, all making the list before. Not that this is substantial proof, but JLo herself took to Twitter to tell her fans about a People cover shoot she did recently, tweeting; “Good Morning LOVERS!!! Early Call Today for @peoplemag shoot!” That’s good enough proof for me! 2011 is shaping up to be a very big year for the beautiful star. She is a massive hit as an “American Idol” judge, with some even claiming that her presence on the show will be responsible for keeping the show alive ! In addition, her music career is back in full swing, with huge props being given to single “On the Floor” and mounting anticipation for her album “Love?”, which it has been revealed has tracks written on it for her by Lady Gaga ! What’s more, she is set to perform at the Billboard Music Awards on May 22 in Las Vegas, alongside some heavy hitters like, Rihanna , the Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban and Taio Cruz. Can’t wait to see the images, and to find out who else made the list! J.Lo The New Face Of 90-Year-Old Spanish Jewelry Co. The feeling may not be reciprocal here, but that’s nice at least. While out at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday, a photographer caught up with Dr. Conrad Murray, who is awaiting involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson, and asked about the late King of Pop’s offspring. His response: “That’s my children, I love them. I love them.” Dr. Conrad Murray: Man on the Street And this concludes your Dr. Conrad Murray update this week. It’s been fun. We’ll see if jurors show him similar love when his trial kicks off in late April.

The comic actor talks about acting drunk, receiving an unexpected call from Coldplay’s Chris Martin while filming his new movie. By Kara Warner Russell Brand Photo: MTV News In Russell Brand’s new film, “Arthur,” he plays a hapless, immature and perpetually drunk billionaire who is faced with losing his inheritance if he marries the wrong woman. Now while Brand is known for his outrageous antics, he’s been sober since he spent three months in rehab in 2003. So, when MTV News caught up with Brand recently during the press day for “Arthur,” we asked him if he enjoys making believe that he’s liquored up. “Yes, it’s brilliant; it’s a right laugh. I love pretending to be drunk,” Brand said. “I had a real hoot. [You] can sort of stagger around. We were filming in New York, there’s crowds of people everywhere, hanging out, so I could just wander among them, pretend to be drunk, beg for change occasionally.”
That’s the word on the street. Sources are reporting that ‘Black and Yellow’ rapper Wiz Khalifa has proposed to the model (and Kanye West ex) and that the two plan to marry this summer. The rapper recently told MTV News that he had introduced Rose to his mother, with whom she hit it off. “They actually really, really dig each other,” Khalifa said of the meeting. “Amber is a sweetheart, and my mom, everybody who meets her loves her anyway.” A source close to the couple says, “Wiz is going on tour for the next month. But he told her when he gets back, he’s going to marry her. And he was serious — he asked her to start making plans.” Khalifa hasn’t confirmed the proposal yet, although he has made his feelings for Rose clear: “She’s a great girl, she’s like one of the best girls in the world. I just want everybody to know how great she is.” Awww, how sweet! Amber Rose may break the record for winningest ho in history… depending on how Wiz’ career works out in the long run. Source
