Cee Lo Still A Lady Killer In New ‘It’s OK’ Video

Multiple Grammy nominee woos multiple women in fun, stylized clip. By Gil Kaufman Cee Lo Green Photo: Jeff Kravitz/ Filmmagic Though it was filmed before he found out that he was a multiple Grammy nominee on Wednesday night, Cee Lo Green is clearly in a celebratory mood in the video for his latest single, “It’s OK.” Living up to the title of his solo album, The Lady Killer , Green makes his way down a neon-lit city street in the clip as he tries to woo three very different lovely ladies. Like the viral-bomb video for his Grammy bait “F— You,” the new one mixes live-action footage with stylized, cartoony graphics spotlighting the singer’s name, the song title and key lyric phrases, while adding a picture-frame device that highlights the three objects of his affection. Looking dapper in a pin-striped tuxedo with oversized black bowtie, Cee Lo checks his look as the clip unfolds, while the women dance in their candy-colored outfits. One looks demure in a long, flowing blue gown, another hip and fun in a short yellow shirt dress and matching tights and the third sexy in a tight red minidress. Standing next to hand-drawn images of their fingers snapping along to the song’s Motown bounce, Cee Lo starts making his way down the street mooning about a girlfriend whose perfume he can still smell on his sheets, but who has abandoned him. As he reminds her that “It’s OK to say that you love me/ I think of you, still thinking of you,” Cee sits in a chair while his yellow-dress beauty shows him some of her sexiest dance moves. By the time he gets to his “legendary” blue-dress lady, Green is ready to put a tiara on his queen and waltz her around the room while the song’s lyrics are scrawled across the screen. He breaks into his crooner mode for the lady in red, who emerges from a bathtub filled with roses in lingerie to share a drink with the singer on the couch. The ladies — who also served as his backup singers in the “F— You” clip — then dance behind Cee as he sings the song’s chorus with an evening skyline behind him. Combined with the earlier video, Green is clearly going for a consistent theme in his Lady Killer promo pieces, reaching back for a classic look and performance-oriented feel that fits with the album’s elegant, soul-throwback sound. Fed Opens Books, Revealing European Megabanks Were Biggest Beneficiaries

The Huffington Post NEW YORK — The Federal Reserve on Wednesday reluctantly opened the books on its monumental campaign to save the financial system in the midst of the recent crisis, revealing how it distributed some $3.3 trillion in relief. The data revealed that the Fed's aid was scattered much more widely than previously understood. Two European megabanks — Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse — were the largest beneficiaries of the Fed's purchase of mortgage-backed securities. The Fed's dollars also flowed to major American companies that are not financial players, including McDonald's and Harley-Davidson, through unsecured short-term loans. The measure, initiated in Jan. 2009 to stimulate the flow of credit and keep household borrowing costs low, led the nation's central bank to purchase more than $1.1 trillion in mortgages packaged into the form of securities. The mortgage bonds are backed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the twin mortgage giants now owned by taxpayers. Deutsche Bank, a German lender, has sold the Fed more than $290 billion worth of mortgage securities, Fed data through July shows. Credit Suisse, a Swiss bank, sold the Fed more than $287 billion in mortgage bonds. The data had previously been secret. It was released Wednesday per the recently-enacted law overhauling the federal financial regulation. The Fed, ferociously backed by the Obama administration, fought lawmakers' desire for full disclosure throughout the financial reform debate. The mortgage purchase program has come under withering criticism by economists and financial experts who believe the Fed's initiative has unnecessarily inflated the housing market, and prevented the cleansing that pretty much all experts believe is necessary for a full economic rebound. However, the program has also been heavily praised for preventing an Armegedon-type situation in which mortgage costs could have skyrocketed, collapsing the housing market and leading to even more foreclosures. Data released Wednesday shows which Wall Street firms have been the biggest beneficiaries of the Fed's bond buying program. The fact that foreign lenders benefited the most is sure to irk lawmakers. Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis Recall ‘Black Swan’ Sacrifices At Premiere

After months of starving herself for the ballet movie, where did Kunis splurge? ‘Panda Express at JFK! I’m a classy broad.’ By Eric Ditzian Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis at the New York premiere of “Black Swan” on Tuesday Photo: Michael N. Todaro/ FilmMagic There they were on Monday night — Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Darren Aronofsky — sweeping down the red carpet outside Wall Street’s Cipriani for the Gotham Independent Film Awards. And look, they came back again the next night, this time to a glittering red carpet outside the Ziegfeld Theatre in Midtown. Why? Because it’s awards season, and the trio’s film — the dark and trippy drama “Black Swan” — is a front-runner to nab all sorts of nominations and trophies in the weeks and months ahead. And so we found ourselves at the Ziegfeld with a distinct sense of d

‘The Buried Life’ Guys Say They’re Down For A Third Season

‘We always have things on the list that we want to cross off,’ castmember Ben Nemtin explains. By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Rya Backer The cast of “The Buried Life” Photo: Angela Weiss/ Getty Images The gang behind MTV’s “The Buried Life” isn’t likely to leave behind a lengthy list of regrets when they kick the bucket, and for the season-two finale, the boys kicked off one of their biggest episodes ever: an hour-long opus packed with gutsy attempts at making a million bucks. Ben Nemtin, Dave Lingwood and Duncan Penn recently kicked back on the MTV Newsroom couch to chat about the finale and said the inspiration for the episode came from one of the most popular wishes that people across the board want to fulfill: becoming a multimillionaire. “Everywhere we go, we ask the question: ‘What do you want to do before you die?’ And it’s amazing how often we get an answer that has something to do with money and specifically like, ‘I wanna make millions of dollars,’ ” Duncan explained. “We really wanted to see how far we could get at making a million dollars. We tried everything [and] pulled off some amazing, amazing things. We’re really excited about this episode; that’s why we made it an hour long. We also get to help someone in a way that we’ve never been able to help someone. It’s a good one. It’s probably one of our best.” For Ben, his jumbo-size Las Vegas gamble tops his list of season two’s best moments. “My personal highlight is a moment that happens in the finale. The [episode goal] is to make a million dollars, and we do the biggest roulette spin in Vegas’ history. It’s probably one of the most nerve-racking … I don’t even know how to explain it, but it was a feeling that I don’t think I’ve never felt before, right before that spin,” he recalled. As viewers saw Monday night (November 29), the guys each chose a different path toward pumping up their bank accounts, armed with $25,000 of seed money each. Ben hit Vegas, Duncan ventured to Wall Street to team up with investment expert Jim Cramer, and Dave went into the apparel game, cranking out zippered onesies for adults. Duncan explained that his personal interest in business drew him to the moneymaking address. “I studied business in school, and so I decided what I wanted to do was go to Wall Street and team up with somebody, kind of a guru in the game and see how far I could get, how much money I could make in sort of a short period of time doing, like, really, really risky plays,” he said. The boys can now strike a line through “starring in the second season of their hit TV series” on their “Buried Life” list. They’re definitely game for a third go-around, but even if their adventures aren’t broadcast to the world, the fellas say they’ll continue to whittle down their list on their own. “We always have things on the list that we want to cross off. We started this in a garage in Canada four years ago and were doing it three years before MTV,” Ben said. “For us, we want to keep doing this as long as we can, so there’s always gonna be things that we’re trying to cross off. I mean, ‘go to space’ is on the list.” Duncan agreed: “We’re still surviving this season, but I think we’d be up for a third season.” What did you think of the season-two finale of “The Buried Life”? Let us know in the comments!

Is C Street Winning?: Orders Given To Arrest Gays In Kenya

Prime Minister Raila Oldinga ordered a nationwide crackdown on gays in Kenya. He ordered police to arrest anyone engaging in homosexual behavior. Oldinga states, “We will not tolerate such behaviours in the country. The constitution is very clear on this issue and men or women found engaging in homosexuality will not be spared.” The anti-progress premier went on to say that, “Any man found engaging in sexual activities with another man should be arrested. Even women found engaging in sexual activities will be arrested.” In October, media sources began publishing pictures of gays in Uganda. The headlines read, “100 Pictures of Uganda’s Top Homos Leak.” Slapped next to the headline was a banner reading “Hang Them.” Sine those headlines ran, 4 Ugandans have been attacked while others fled in hiding. Today in Kenya at a public rally the Prime Minister recalled the ratio of men to women being equal population wise, then pondered why their people should engage in homosexual activity. C Street must be gleefully applauding this. Examiner.com: > C Street politics: The Christian mafia is advocating the death penalty for > homosexuals in Uganda. Joe Scarborough Says TSA Screening Controversy ‘Most Ginned-Up Story of the Year,’ But Recants Position When Guests Disagree

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough blasted protesters and opponents of the new TSA screening procedures on Wednesday's “Morning Joe,” only to recant his position on the show's next hour when he realized two panel members criticized the new checks. “I was saying this was a made-up debate – this is a real debate, I guess,” Scarborough admitted on the second hour of his show. While Scarborough and co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist, as well as MSNBC political analyst Harold Ford, sympathized with TSA workers and defended the new checks, two guests opposed the new search methods. Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan and New York Magazine columnist John Heilemann criticized the TSA procedures. Early in the first hour of the show, Scarborough ranted against the “opt-out” protestors who would be forgoing the body scanners at airports Wednesday to be subjected to pat-down checks, deliberately frustrating and slowing down the process on one of the busiest travel days of the year. Scarborough has recently promoted civil discourse on his show with the mantra “Keep Calm and Carry On,” but let loose at the protesters Wednesday.

Taye Diggs Remembers Making Poop Song On ‘When I Was 17’

‘Private Practice’ star recalls creating impromptu joint about feces on episode premiering Saturday at 11 a.m. By Mawuse Ziegbe Taye Diggs Photo: MTV News Taye Diggs has built a reputation as a Hollywood heartthrob, lighting up the screen in everything from “How Stella Got Her Groove Back” to “Brown Sugar.” But when the actor was 17, he was less of a hunk and more of a ham, constantly cutting up with his friends. “When I was 17, we were all performers. Wherever we were, we would always try to put on some kind of a show,” he remembers on the latest episode of “When I Was 17,” which also features Naya Rivera from “Glee” and NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony, premiering Saturday at 11 a.m. “They were always, always making up songs and singing them and joking around,” Diggs’ brother Gabriel recalls. One time, Diggs and his pals turned someone else’s crappy luck into a catchy tune. “I remember one time there was a fire drill, and me and my boy Shane saw this dude step in some dog doo,” he says. “We laugh … and then, right then, somebody drops a beat.” Shane recreates the beat, flapping and pursing his lips, before continuing the story: “Then [Diggs] joined in, “corn feces!” “And then it just breaks into a whole song,” Diggs recalls of the ditty’s inexplicable development. Then Shane breaks down the joint’s loopy lyrics for viewers: “I was walking down the street, rocking to the beat/ Clapping my hands and stomping my feet/ Look at the ground and what do I see?/ Corn feces staring right at me. Corn feces!” For Diggs, who was 17 in 1988, the impromptu, poop-inspired ode is still hilarious years later. “Corn feces!” the star proclaims, clapping his hands and cracking up. “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Naya Rivera, Camelo Anthony and Taye Diggs — premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. on MTV Related Videos ‘When I Was 17’ Episode 205 Sneak Peek Related Photos When I Was 17 (Season 2) | Ep. 5 | Naya Rivera, Taye Diggs, Carmelo Anthony Related Artists Taye Diggs

Ashley Greene Boring in Spandex of the Day

The only thing interesting about this Ashley Greene pig is that she’s dating a Jonas Brother. I know that may sound really fucking queer, but the one thing I’ve learned about motherfuckers with stupid fame and money who play all wholesome and virginal out of respect to Jesus’ and his followers’ best interest for marketing purposes, is that they like to have the dirtiest raging cock and viagra parties to make up for the oppressing of natural human instincts, if you know what I mean… So Ashley Greene, something that seems fucking boring on the outside, never giving pussy puppet shows for her fans, cuz she knows she’s made it and has a solid fan bases that’s not going anywhere, is probably far more exciting than we could ever imagine. which is exactly where you want her to be cuz you think she’s as hot as she does….but I’m thinking my theory is wishful thinking that all pussy is slut and that no pussy is dull as this one seems to be… Oh well, here are the pics of her leaving the gym, or whatever boring bullshit she’s doing…boring….showing off bruises you can imagine she got getting fucked up the ass like a stray dog in a muslim country….when really probably just got them at dance practice cuz that’s the only time Jonas lets her touch him….and who fucking cares… The real tragedy in this is why the paparazzi didn’t get a fucking ass shot…It just doesn’t make sense to me…stand on the other side of the street motherfucker and pretend you are taking pics of the buildings…I don’t now how you do it in whatever immigrant country you are from, but get it together, motherfucker.. v
