Britney Spears Fights Back

The allegation came from Spears#39;s one-time husband, Jason Alexander, whose 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to her was annulled in 2004. In the report, Alexander says Spears told him Trawick “beat on me,” and RadarOnline posted an audio clip of the alleged conversation between Alexander and Spears. The singer#39;s reps, however, deny the woman#39;s voice on the tapes belongs to the pop star. Britney Spears has a message for anyone claiming she was physically abused by her boyfriend: pucker up. Exclusive: Nas Talks Lost Tapes: Vol. 2

Esco says he’s focused on ‘owning the streets again’ and reveals to MTV News that hotly anticipated sequel is due December 14. By Shaheem Reid Nas Photo: C. Flanigan/ Getty Images Esco, let’s go. Nas isn’t the most prolific on Twitter, but he sent out a big blast on Wednesday (September 15), leaving a message all of his fans will love. “It’s coming… LOST TAPES VOLUME TWO!!!” Nas posted on his page @nas . The Queens native is finally following up his 2002 classic compilation, The Lost Tapes. That record was a potent mix of his tracks left on the cutting-room floor over the years. On Wednesday afternoon, MTV News got word from Nas’ camp that The Lost Tapes: Vol. 2 will be released on December 14. Speaking to us exclusively, Nas revealed he was feeling inspired these days and the Lost Tapes sequel is just a small taste of what’s to come. He’s about to hit the blocks with a barrage. “I’m unloading records I want the streets to hear,” the Queens rapper said in an e-mail. “Cleaning out my hard drives. Gonna do this, then start fresh. I’m dropping my solo LP before the summer of 2011. I love the energy the world has been giving me over the last two years. But now it’s time to focus on owning the streets again.” Just earlier this month, Nas and DJ Green Lantern put out “Last Real N—a Alive, Part 2” for the mixtapes. The vocals from that record were recorded back when Nas was making his last album, Untitled. “Cars with police radars/ On highways bopping/ Bullpen therapy/ Cell-block dodging/ Pissy stairways,” he raps. “Miss them days, not when/ They shut down stores when I’m shopping,” Nas raps over the trumpet-laden track. “Used to be pop-locking, train-hopping/ Face covered in stocking/ Six-pack Bud-drinking gambler/ F— them cameras/ In front of the man, sing the hustla’s mantra/ Hands are luck/ More hits than Gamble and Huff.” “[Nasty Nas] never left,” Nas told MTV News when the verse leaked. “I recorded the song in my hometown of New York City. I was feeling the vibe of the streets and sewers, [which] helped me get in that zone” Since the legendary MC first promised to deliver out new material, he has been back in the lab and talking to Wu-Tang Clan’s the RZA about producing tracks “Escobar is one of the best MCs to ever bless the mic,” RZA said about Nas on the VMA white carpet on Sunday. “We’re still trying to figure our schedule out. We both got a lot of big life ahead of us. But we’re getting in. We’re gonna make that classic. You know what it is. Last time, Nas did a verse for me that was on ‘Verbal Intercourse.’ That was a classic. To get back in and make another classic like that would be real good.” Are you excited for Nas’ Lost Tapes sequel? Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Nas RZA

AP Exclusive: Under Desk, CIA Found Video of 9/11 Plotter Being Interrogated in a Secret Prison

AP Exclusive: Under desk, CIA found video of 9/11 plotter being interrogated in secret prison ADAM GOLDMAN, MATT APUZZO Associated Press Writers August 17, 2010|12:45 a.m. WASHINGTON (AP) — The CIA has tapes of 9/11 plotter Ramzi Binalshibh being interrogated in a secret overseas prison. Discovered under a desk, the recordings could provide an unparalleled look at how foreign governments aided the U.S. in holding and questioning suspected terrorists. The two videotapes and one audiotape are believed to be the only remaining recordings made within the clandestine prison system. The tapes depict Binalshibh's interrogation sessions at a Moroccan-run facility the CIA used near Rabat in 2002, several current and former U.S. officials told The Associated Press. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because the recordings remain a closely guarded secret. When the CIA destroyed its cache of 92 videos of two other al-Qaida operatives, Abu Zubaydah and Abd al-Nashiri, being waterboarded in 2005, officials believed they had wiped away all of the agency's interrogation footage. But in 2007, a staffer discovered a box tucked under a desk in the CIA's Counterterrorism Center and pulled out the Binalshibh tapes. A Justice Department prosecutor who is already investigating whether destroying the Zubaydah and al-Nashiri tapes was illegal is now also probing why the Binalshibh tapes were never disclosed. Twice, the government told a federal judge they did not exist. The tapes could complicate U.S. efforts to prosecute Binalshibh, 38, who has been described as a “key facilitator” in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. If the tapes surfaced at trial, they could clearly reveal Morocco's role in the counterterrorism program known as Greystone, which authorized the CIA to hold terrorists in secret prisons and shuttle them to other countries. More significantly to his defense, the tapes also could provide evidence of Binalshibh's mental state within the first months of his capture. In court documents, defense lawyers have been asking for medical records to see whether Binalshibh's years in CIA custody made him mentally unstable. He is being treated for schizophrenia with a potent cocktail of anti-psychotic medications. With military commissions on hold while the Obama administration figures out what to do with suspected terrorists, Binalshibh has never had a hearing on whether he is mentally fit to stand trial. “If those tapes exist, they would be extremely relevant,” said Thomas A. Durkin, Binalshibh's civilian lawyer. The CIA first publicly hinted at the existence of the Binalshibh tapes in 2007 in a letter to U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema in Virginia. The government twice denied having such tapes, and recanted once they were discovered. But the government blacked out Binalshibh's name from a public copy of the letter. At the time, the CIA played down the significance, saying the videos were not taken as part of the CIA's detention program and did not show CIA interrogations. That's true, but only because of the unusual nature of the Moroccan prison, which was largely financed by the CIA but run by Moroccans, the former officials said. The CIA could move detainees in and out, and oversee the interrogations, but officially, Morocco had control. CIA spokesman George Little would not discuss the Moroccan facility except to say agency officials “continue to cooperate with inquiries into past counterterrorism practices.” Moroccan government officials did not respond to questions about Binalshibh and his time in Morocco. The country has never acknowledged the existence of the detention center. Morocco has a troubled history of prison abuse and human rights violations. A government-created commission identified decades of torture, forced disappearances, poor prison conditions and sexual violence. And this year's State Department report on Morocco notes continued accusations of torture by security forces. But current and former U.S. officials say no harsh interrogation methods, like the simulated drowning tactic called waterboarding, were used in Morocco. In the CIA's secret network of undisclosed “black prisons,” Morocco was just way station of sorts, a place to hold detainees for a few months at a time. “The tapes record a guy sitting in a room just answering questions,” according to a U.S. official familiar with the program. That would make them quite different from the 92 interrogation videos of Zubaydah and al-Nashiri being subjected to waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics. Binalshibh was captured Sept. 11, 2002, and interrogated for days at a CIA facility in Afghanistan. Almost immediately, two former CIA officials said, Binalshibh exhibited mental instability that would worsen over time. When FBI agents finally had a chance to interview Binalshibh, they found him lethargic but unharmed. “He had a certain toughness about him, like he didn't care,” said Raymond Holcomb, a retired FBI agent who spent five days alongside the CIA with Binalshibh in Afghanistan and wrote about it in a forthcoming book, “Endless Enemies: Inside FBI Counterterrorism.” Though Binalshibh was uncooperative during his early interrogations, his interviews formed the foundation for parts of the 9/11 commission report. One official said he also provided intelligence about a plot to crash aircraft into London's Heathrow Airport. Binalshibh spent five months in Morocco in late 2002 and early 2003, the first of three trips through the facility during his years in CIA custody. Since his incarceration was established at Guantanamo Bay in 2006, Binalshibh has appeared increasingly erratic. Court records show him acting out, breaking cameras in his cell and smearing them with feces. He has experienced delusions, believing the CIA was intentionally shaking his bed and cell, according to court records and interviews. He has imagined tingling sensations like things were crawling all over him and developed a nervous tic, obsessively scratching himself. Nine years after his capture, there is no indication when Binalshibh and other admitted 9/11 terrorists will face military or civilian trials. Binalshibh and other accused 9/11 conspirators have openly admitted their roles, praising the attacks. Binalshibh and the others have asked to plead guilty, a move that would head off any trial and almost certainly guarantee the videotapes never get played in any court. http://www.gotgeoint.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/9-113.bmp added by: EthicalVegan

Mel Gibson to Oksana Grigorieva in New Tape: No One Will Believe You!

An excerpt from Mel Gibson rant #6 … Oksana Grigorieva : You are acting as a crazy man right now. And you have been for many many months. And you hit me and you hit her. While she was in my hands. Mel, you are losing your mind. You need medication. Mel: YOU NEED A F*%KING KICK UP THE A$$ FOR BEING A B!TCH C**T GOLD-DIGGING WH@RE!! WITH A [indecipherable] SON, AND I WANT MY CHILD, AND NO ONE WILL BELIEVE YOU! SO F*%K YOU. I’M NOT GIVING YOU MY HOUSE, AND YOU CAN ROT. UNLESS YOU CRAWL BACK AND S–K MY C@CK IN THAT ORDER. Wow . In the sixth tape of the actor losing it on Oksana (follow this link for all the Mel Gibson rants ), he hurls the usual vile insults and appears generally insane. Gibson and Grigorieva are engaged in an increasingly ugly custody fight over their daughter, Lucia, while Mel is under investigation for domestic violence. Mel’s attorneys have suggested that the tapes were recorded without his consent, as well as potentially altered. They also deny he attacked her physically. She claims the tapes – along with a gruesome photo of her bruised face – prove her abuse allegation against him and that he is simply blaming the victim . Gibson’s camp has painted her as a extortionist, and there was apparently a $15 million settlement regarding custody and the tapes that she did not sign. Follow the jump to hear the latest Mel Gibson tape … Mel Gibson Rant #6 What do you think? Is this proof that Mel abused Oksana? Or is the evidence manipulated and/or circumstantial? Whose side are you on?

Oksana Grigorieva: Don’t Blame the Victim, Mel!

Mel Gibson’s lawyers say Oksana Grigorieva has lied about her injuries and tampered with evidence regarding his alleged assault on the mother of his child. Now Oksana’s spokesperson claims she is the smear campaign victim. Stephen Jaffe says that “While Mr. Gibson’s camp has floated a variety of false claims to try to distract the public from the true facts at hand, it is telling that his camp has not once denied that it is Mr. Gibson’s voice on the published recordings.” Those being the Mel Gibson tapes . It’s true that the actor’s lawyers haven’t denied it’s him on the tapes, which paint him as a bona fide crazy man. They’ve suggested that the tapes may have been doctored by Oksana and his rants taken out of context – big difference. Both Oksana and Mel claim the other is slandering them . Jaffe then adds, “It is common in such cases for those who perpetrate domestic violence to vilify the victim of that domestic violence. One would hope that those who are close to Mr. Gibson would take a more constructive approach.” The spokesman’s response comes in part after reports surfaced last week intimating that Oksana’s injuries may have been self-inflicted – which she denies. The judge in their custody battle over eight-month-old Lucia is at least somewhat skeptical of the allegations, given the possible inconsistencies of the evidence and testimony from Mel’s wife, Robyn, that he never abused her in 28 years. However, other experts say her injuries are consistent with her story. “It is obvious not only from the photograph of Ms. Grigorieva, but from other evidence …that he struck her in the mouth and temple, that she sustained injuries as a result of his blows,” says a source close to the Gibson investigation. “The notion that her wounds were ‘self-inflicted’ is ridiculous and not credible. No legitimate, independent expert analyst could reasonably draw such a conclusion.” What do you think?

Mel Gibson Complains About Money In Fifth Leaked Tape

Gibson again threatens ex-girlfriend in latest recording. By Gil Kaufman Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images Around the same time Mel Gibson’s lawyers entered a Los Angeles courtroom to fight an attempt by the actor’s ex-girlfriend to strip the “Lethal Weapon” star of his custody rights to the couple’s 9-month-old daughter, the latest in a disturbing series of recorded phone-call snippets was released by RadarOnline.com . (Warning: Recordings contain offensive and explicit content.) In the fifth tape posted by the site, Gibson, 54, appears on the verge of hyperventilating as he berates ex Oksana Grigorieva over the disastrous state of his finances. “Bitch, whore, cu–, gold digger!” Gibson, a divorced father of eight, yells at Grigorieva during the fight, in which he excoriates the aspiring singer for requesting that he buy her an expensive dress and let her use his Lakers box seats. “Because of you, I had to sell the mother—-ers,” he growls about seats at the Lakers arena. “I don’t have any f—ing money! I have to support you and everybody else! I have to sell paintings. I have to sell my box at the Lakers game. … I spent more than $5 million on you! … Say thank you now!” The actor — whose ex-wife of 27 years, Robyn, reportedly walked away with more than $400 million in their 2009 divorce because they had no prenuptial agreement — was once one of the highest-paid, most successful actors in Hollywood and is alleged to have made a fortune on the self-financed film “The Passion of the Christ,” which grossed more than $610 million globally. At one point before the divorce, his net worth was reported to be between $500 million and $900 million. But on the nearly four-minute tape, he repeatedly pleads poverty, complaining of all the mouths he has to feed. The $5 million he claims to have spent on Grigorieva appears to be a reference to his help in launching her music career. “F—in’ user! You f—in’ used me! I will never forgive you!” he screams, before breaking out in uncontrolled heavy breathing for several seconds. Grigorieva has claimed that Gibson punched her in the face and broke two of her teeth in an assault in January that is now the subject of a domestic-violence investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. She repeatedly fires back that she did not ask Gibson to spend money on her, at one point telling her longtime lover that he is “very mean.” “Yeah, you know what mean is now, don’t you?” he responds. “So don’t call me mean when I’m nice to you. Because I’d like to show you what mean really is. Bitch, cu–, whore, gold digger! All true! You f—ing proved it to me! … Look at yourself. And look what you’ve done. Look what you’ve f—ing done! Look at your son. He’s a f—ing mess. You f—ing excuse for a mother. You’re a f—ing bitch!” Exasperated, Grigorieva simply says, “You’re the worst father I ever met. Goodbye.” Radar Online has also reported that Gibson had a handgun during the alleged assault and waved it in Grigorieva’s face after striking her. The site claimed that as she tried to leave Gibson’s house, he put the weapon near her face and said, “I will show you how to get out of here fast,” which Grigorieva believed was a threat on her life, one of several Gibson is alleged to have made. Gibson’s spokesperson has offered a “no comment” on the tapes — though he has not denied that the voice heard on them is Gibson — and the actor has not yet made any public statement about their contents. An audio expert who has worked for the FBI and CIA told the “Today” show Thursday (July 15) that the tapes are legitimate. The clips were expected to take center stage Thursday during the custody hearings, with Gibson’s lawyers reportedly aiming to prove that they had been doctored and edited, which would make them inadmissible in court; Grigorieva’s attorneys have reportedly denied those claims.

2010 ESPY Awards Honor Kobe, Landon And Lindsey, Spoof LeBron

Host Seth Myers and others skewer sports oddities from James’ special to Paul the octopus. By Kyle Anderson Landon Donovan at the ESPY Awards Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images The worlds of sports, movies, music and television came together under one roof on Wednesday, the quietest sports day of the year, for ESPN’s annual ESPY Awards. Dozens of stars — including Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant, American World Cup hero Landon Donovan, New Orleans Saints Quarterback Drew Brees and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn — gathered at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles for a night of sports highlights and wacky comedy, orchestrated by host Seth Myers. Bryant, Donovan, Brees and Vonn each won some of the night’s biggest awards. Kobe, fresh off the Lakers’ latest championship and his second Finals MVP, scored the prize for Best NBA Player. Donovan won two trophies, one each for Best MLS Player and Best Moment in Sports (his game-winning goal against Algeria in the World Cup beat out the New Orleans’ Saints Super Bowl victory, Phil Mickelson’s win at the 2009 Masters and Canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette’s performance at the Winter Olympics). Brees was voted Best Male Athlete, Best NFL Player and Best Championship Performance, while Vonn took home the prizes for Best Female Athlete and Best Female Olympian. Much of the humor during the evening — provided by the likes of Will Ferrell, Jon Hamm, Andy Samberg, Tracy Morgan, Zac Efron, Mark Wahlberg and Luke Wilson — was directed at LeBron James (who was also in attendance) and his recent one-hour special, “The Decision,” which ESPN aired last week. “Did it really need to be an hour?” Myers asked. “Somebody time me: ‘Miami.’ How long did that take? A second!” The 2010 FIFA World Cup was also the source of much humor. Ferrell came out for some vuvuzela-related jokes and Samberg appeared on the show as Paul, the German octopus who correctly predicted the winners of a handful of matches. But the highlight of the night was the surprise award given to President Barack Obama. His presence in the building was kept a secret, but he received a standing ovation when he approached the stage to accept his Lifetime Achievement ESPY, given for his “contributions and commitment to American sport.” What was your favorite moment from the 2010 ESPY Awards?
