Laugh At His Pain: NFL Network Co-Workers Overjoyed That Slore-Soliciting Baller Warren Sapp Was Fired

NFL Networks Are Reportedly Glad That Warren Sapp Was Fired For Solicting Prostitutes After all, colleagues have the gall, to pray, and pray on Sapp’s downfall… According to TMZ reports : Warren Sapp wasn’t exactly Mr. Congeniality at the NFL Network — with a whole bunch of employees telling TMZ Sports they’re GLAD he’s gone … because he was a nightmare to work with. We broke the story … Sapp was fired from his gig as an analyst for the NFL Network after he was arrested for soliciting prostitutes in AZ last Monday. Now, after speaking with nearly a DOZEN current and former employees … everyone is telling us the same thing — GOOD RIDDANCE!! In fact, the people we spoke with … ranging from low-level people all the way up to big shots … told us there was an unofficial “Sapp Disclaimer” when it came to interacting with the Hall of Famer. Yes, Warren Sapp has very specific rules of engagement when dealing with human beings. Among the highlights: -Don’t look Warren in the eyes (seriously). -Introduce yourself, but DO NOT try to befriend him. -Call him Warren. NEVER call him “Sapp.” Of course, there are Sapp supporters … but even they couldn’t really defend the guy. As one person put it, “I know certain people [at the Network] complained about the guy a lot but overall he was always cool … just unpredictable.” Another person told us, “Warren has had one too many chances to get it right, and it just didn’t work out for him. We all wish him well in the end.” As for his tough reputation around the office, it’s not the first time we’ve heard that about Sapp — back when he was on “Dancing with the Stars” he was known as the “diva” on set … and was constantly causing problems. Lawsuits: Oprah Sued For Sex Discrimination By Former Employee Who Says Pregnancy Cost Her OWN Job

She don’t love dem hoes… Despite her close relationship with BFF Gayle King, Oprah is facing allegations that she hates on women in the workplace. According to TMZ reports : Oprah Winfrey does not look out for her own … at least that’s what is alleged in a new lawsuit in which a female exec at OWN claims she lost her job because she got knocked up. According to a lawsuit filed Friday, Carolyn Hommel claims she was hired in 2010 as senior director of scheduling and acquisitions at Oprah’s OWN network. Hommel claims she was told she was on-track to become a VP, but says things took a sudden turn when she became pregnant. According to Hommel … her duties were slowly transferred to a temporary employee and she was excluded from meetings when she returned from medical leave. Hommel claims she was let go ONE MONTH after giving birth and told to re-apply for the VP gig … only to be passed over. Furthermore, Hommel claims her boss, Michael Garner, fabricated a performance review that “made Hommel’s job duties and responsibilities appear less ‘senior’ and therefore not a candidate for the new vice president position.” Hommel allegees her dismissal was a direct result of her becoming pregnant and requiring a medical leave. SMH. Sounds like this woman can make a strong case. Hope Oprah doesn’t have to settle this one cuz it could cost her a pretty penny! Photo Credit: Harper’s Bazaar/Terry Richardson

Here are tips for parents to encourage reading for teenagers. Lately, I have had a host of parents complain to me about their  struggle with getting their  teens to read anything but Facebook. With the surge of electronic there is a new opportunity to make it relevant in their world.   As an adult, you know that reading is important and you obviously want to make sure that the teenagers in your life grow into adulthood with all the skills they need to succeed. 1-   Set an example. Let teens see you reading for pleasure. 2- Furnish your home with a variety of reading materials. Leave books, magazines, and newspapers around. Check to see what disappears for a clue to what interests your teenager. 3- Give teens an opportunity to choose their own books. When you and your teen are out together, browse in a bookstore or library. Go your separate ways and make your own selections. A bookstore gift certificate is a nice way of saying, “You choose.” 4- Build on your teen’s interests. Look for books and articles that feature their favorite sports teams, rock stars, hobbies, or television shows. Give a gift subscription to a special interest magazine. 5- View pleasure reading as a value in itself. Almost anything your youngsters read—including the Sunday comics—helps build reading skills. 6- Read some books written for teens. Young adult novels can give you valuable insights into the concerns and pressures felt by teenagers. You may find that these books provide a neutral ground on which to talk about sensitive subjects. 7- Acknowledge your teen’s mature interests. Look for ways to acknowledge the emerging adult in your teens by suggesting some adult reading you think they can handle. 8- Keep the big picture in mind. For all sorts of reasons, some teenagers go through periods without showing much interest in reading. Don’t panic! Time, and a few tips from this article, may help rekindle their interest. Which Former Donkey Kong World Champ Inspired Colin Farrell’s Horrible Bosses Character?

As Jason Sudeikis ‘s coke-snorting, kung fu-practicing, pot-bellied new supervisor in Horrible Bosses , which notched an impressive number 2 box office slot last weekend, second to Michael Bay ‘s 3-D robotstravaganza Transformers: Dark of the Moon , Colin Farrell is a revelation of douchebag assholery, the last person you’d want above you in the workplace food chain. (Well, one of them.) But which former gaming world champion deserves credit for loosely inspiring portions of Farrell’s characterization — and could Farrell portray this muse one day on the big screen?

Florida Passes An Anti-Sagging Law?

See the original post:

There’s been talk about passing an “anti-sagging law” for years now, which would prevent men from wearing their pants below their waist and exposing their underwear in public. Now, Florida senators are in the midst of passing the law that boys can’t expose their underwar in public and especially in school settings. State Senator Gary Siplin has been working on the bill which would be targeted towards school’s dress codes and he is close to making it a law after six years of fighting. SB 228 and House version, HB 61, makes it against the law when boys wear their pants so low that you’re able to see their underwear. This rule applies to both boys and girls. Kevin Gordon, a principle in a Florida school, says school administrators are sending a message on what is appropriate in the workplace. He stated: “ If you are not dressed appropriately, then you’re not ready for school. If you are not ready for school, you’re not ready to be successful.” What do you think? Do you think the way that you dress affects your success level? Do you think that the government has a reason to regulate how people dress? Read the full story at Bossip.com.
