After two years of divorce, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are headed for a custody trial . At least, that’s what will happen if they can’t reach an agreement by December 4, their current deadline. An expert in how California Family Court operates sheds some light on how the Jolie-Pitt kids could end up in separate homes. It looks like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s division of personal property will be decided by a private judge. And so will custody of their children — up to a point. HollywoodLife spoke to a California Family Law attorney, David T. Pisarra, about what could become of their six children. Specifically, he addressed the possibility that some of these kids, whose ages range from 17 to 10, could get split up between households. “Certainly, that can happen,” Pisarra replies. But he does note that the possbility of siblings getting divided “generally deals with older children.” But Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, are unlikely to be ordered to separate households. “Typically the courts want to keep all the kids together, Pisarra notes. “Because they want to maintain the continuity of the relationships.” Outside of fiction like The Parent Trap , where the parents monstrously separated infant twins, courts want siblings to know each other. “But,” Pisarra says. “If there are huge age gaps as there are with Brad and Angelina’s children, that can be a factor.” Even so, he says, “It’s generally disfavored.” Pisarra emphasizes: “and the courts try and keep the kids together.” Now, the older children in particular could ask the court to award custody to one parent over the other. “Absolutely,” Pisarra says, noting that “the parents can fight that.” “But the issue is once the kids are 14-years-old,” he explains. “They have the right and opportunity to be heard by the courts.” So Pax and Maddox, at least, will get to officially choose sides — if they choose to. It doesn’t mean that they’ll have to actually enter the courtroom, though. “The court can hear from them in many different ways, either by letter, interview by a third party, it could be in chambers with a court reporter,” Pisarra says. That’s good — speaking in court, especially about your parents, can be all kinds of intimidating. “And it depends on what the court wants to do,” Pisarra continues, depending upon “Their age and maturity.” “Maddox is 17, and technically he’s a minor, he’s more than old enough and mature enough to clearly state his wishes and desires,” Pisarra notes as an example. Brangelina split after some alleged altercation between Brad and Maddox — one that caused Angelina to report her husband to the FBI for child abuse. So it’s expected that he, at least, is going to want to remain in his mother’s custody for his remaining months as a minor. But just because Pax is old enough to be put on the spot in this way does not mean that the judge will do so. “Pax technically can at 14,” Pisarra says. “But judges typically aren’t going to allow it because they want to keep the kids out of this as much as possible.” The wishes of the children aren’t the only concern. The court has to have reasonable confidence that the children will be safe and provided for, obviously. Also, the court will want to minimize how much the children’s lives are disrupted. “A judge would also look at where the parents want the kids to live,” Pisarra mentions. He explains: “If Brad wanted to stay in Los Angeles and Angelina wants to live in London, that would factor into the decision.” Geography matters “because a judge might want to let the kids live in the same place they were raised.” That makes a lot of sense — but, of course, it’s only one factor in the court’s decision. Mostly this story just reminds us of what absolute monsters the parents were in The Parent Trap . In this case, however, the parents — and the court — have to decide what is best for the children, not what is best for themselves. No one knows for certain how Angelina and Brad’s custody trial will go. That is part of what is motivating them to attempt to hammer out a deal before then. But after two years, with just a couple of weeks to go, the possibility that they’ll see eye-to-eye narrows every day. Let’s hope that they get a good, wise judge. Cable news outlet MSNBC is reporting that police in Plantation, Florida have arrested a 56-year-old white male named Cesar Sayoc and will be charging him with the construction and distribution of the dozen pipe bombs that were sent to Donald Trump detractors. According to the Sun-Sentinel , FBI agents surrounded a white van covered in pro-Trump stickers that was sitting in a commercial parking lot. “Our bomb squad and K-9 Unit are currently providing assistance to our federal partners at the Opa-locka mail facility as part of the ongoing investigation into suspicious packages located in other jurisdictions,” Colome said in a statement. “This assistance is as a precautionary measure. We cannot provide additional information at this time due to the active nature of this federal investigation.” There is a press conference scheduled at 2:30PM (EST) by the U.S. Department of Justice to address the nation and reveal more information about the person arrested and other pertinent details. According to the New York Times when President Trump calls his friends for their takes on the horrible job he is doing on one of his iPhones the Chinese and Russians are listening. What they are getting as the report claims is “invaluable insight” on Trump and how to “best work the president and affect administration policy.” Bruh. The report also claimed last year that that Orange Menace is supposed to swap out his phones every 30 days but rarely does because of “inconvenience.” The NYT’s eye-opening story also brings up an incident when Trump left his cellphone in a golf cart at his Bedminster, N.J., golf club causing a frantic scramble to recover it according to two people familiar with the situation. Per The New York Times : “The current and former officials said they have also determined that China is seeking to use what it is learning from the calls — how Mr. Trump thinks, what arguments tend to sway him and to whom he is inclined to listen — to keep a trade war with the United States from escalating further. In what amounts to a marriage of lobbying and espionage, the Chinese have pieced together a list of the people with whom Mr. Trump regularly speaks in hopes of using them to influence the president, the officials said.” “Among those on the list are Stephen A. Schwarzman, the Blackstone Group chief executive who has endowed a master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, and Steve Wynn, the former Las Vegas casino magnate who used to own a lucrative property in Macau.” As expected Trump called the report a “fake story” and claimed he liked only using “hard lines” in a Tweet sent from his iPhone. One package was addressed to Hilary Clinton in New York and the other was addressed to Barack Obama in Washington D.C. CNN reports : Neither Obama nor Clinton received the packages or were at risk of receiving them, the Secret Service said. They were discovered during “routine mail screening procedures as potential explosive devices and were appropriately handled as such.” The FBI said the package intended for Clinton was found in the vicinity of her residence in Chappaqua, New York, but offered no additional comment, citing the ongoing investigation. Representatives for the Clintons referred press inquiries to the Secret Service, and a spokeswoman for Obama did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Both packages were sent at the same time and are being investigated. He warned Florida voters, less than 24-hours after winning the GOP nomination in August, not to “ monkey this up ” by electing Gillum. A closer look at his background revealed that DeSantis has a long racist history . Gillum wants to debate the merits of his progressive agenda for the state, which includes his proposals to raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour, increase starting teacher pay to $50,000, expand Medicaid and ending the state’s infamous “stand your ground” law. DeSantis, if he decides to debate the issues, is expected to counter that Gillum would be fiscally irresponsible, weak on crime, and too open to immigration as governor—basically touting Trump’s “make American great again” agenda. Expect DeSantis also to accuse Gillum of corruption. Federal investigators are looking into whether businessmen were able to influence Tallahassee development projects. Gillum has said the FBI told him he’s not the focus of its investigation. However, the mayor reportedly took expensive trips that his political enemies believe were paid for by lobbyists. Gillum has reportedly presented receipts for those trips, and he’s cooperating fully with the investigation. Meanwhile, Trump has been lobbed attacks at Gillum on DeSantis’ behalf. Photo by Jim Bennett/Getty Images Vince Staples Is Getting Into Acting With New Lead Film Role Vince Staples is so much more than a rapper, and now he’s adding even more to his resume. Not only is he a musician and Sprite’s number one ambassador, but not, he’s getting into the acting world as well. The Long Beach native has just landed his first leading role in the film, Punk , which is going to be directed by Richard Hughes, who will also be making his debut as a director. Punk is said to be centered around the protagonist Peter, played by Staples, who goes on a road trip with some free-spirited people after receiving some disappointing news via a rejection letter. While embarked on said trip, Peter will learn that he contrary to what he might have believed, he doesn’t really know the people around him as well as he previously thought. He ends up finding out while on the trip that he is on the road with a group of bank robbers and someone who is on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Braden Aftergood will produce the movie. Aftergood has previously produced movies including 2012’s Battleship and this year’s Siberia . Kavanaugh-Jones worked on this year’s Insidious: The Last Key . This wouldn’t be Vince’s first time working within the movie world. The Long Beach rapper has had his music featured in the film Creed with the track “Waiting For My Moment” along with his contribution to the Black Panther soundtrack. Aside from his flourishing acting career, the rapper has just wrapped up a tour across the United States with Childish Gambino. As of now, no release date has been revealed for Vince’s upcoming leading role, but be on the lookout for Punk to make it to the big screen sometime soon.

If you weren’t aware, the FBI has labeled certain Black activists as possible “domestic terrorists” seeking to incite and execute violent acts against police. Yes, you read that correct…that African Americans are supposedly posing a violent threat to police officers, and NOT the other way around . Organized actions such as self-defense training courses, safe weapons training, and open-carry neighborhood patrols in their own communities have “tipped off” the FBI for leaders of movements such as these to be seen as a threat. Vice follows the plight of Rakem Balogun, the Dallas man taken in by the FBI on weapons suspicions as a “Black Identity Extremist” and eventually freed without charges. T.I.’s competition show The Grand Hustle seeks to find the hardest, most efficient worker out a group of 16 individuals vying for a 6-figure salary. Yonathan is one of those hopefuls. We caught up with the young entrepreneur, who has many hustles of his own including a popular podcast . HB: How did you land a spot on The Grand Hustle ? Yonathan: I had to complete an online application that literally took me three hours to complete. I almost gave up about two or three times. After I submit that, I got an email requesting a Skype interview because I made it to the second round. I then received a call saying that the producers loved me, but they want me for the second season, unless someone didn’t pass their background check. Must of been my lucky day because someone didn’t pass and they flew me to ATL for my final interview in front of the camera. I was locked in a hotel for five days and couldn’t go out because they didn’t want any of the cast to see each other. The last day was approaching and producers came into my room saying congratulations. Pack your stuff, we are moving you to the mansion! HB: What was it like finding out you would be sequestered? Yonathan: The thought of weeks and months of no phone, no social media, no reading, no seeing or even talking to friends and family, was nerve-wrecking. This was the longest I’ve ever gone without a phone, but I have to say, it was refreshing. I don’t think I would do it on my own, but it was cool to clear my mind of a lot of the BS we see and hear in this world. HB: How did you feel when you realized you had a fellow friend, Krystal Garner, in the house? Yonathan: When KG walked through that door, my initial thought was “Hell Yeah, someone I know!” Then I immediately thought, “Oh damn. We are about to be targeted!” I knew that people would think we would form an alliance, but what the viewers don’t understand is, that’s two verses 14. That doesn’t sound like a win to me. So as happy as I was to see a familiar face, I also knew we would have to work 10 times harder and also have our guards up. HB: You made some funny faces on the show, did you realize you were doing it? Yonathan: Watching the show and seeing these faces I’m making makes me understand why people always tell me that I can’t hide my emotions. I’m not going to lie, I even laughed at some of my reactions because I honestly never realized my face was so damn animated. Now this has me self-conscious about how I react to someone I don’t like but don’t want them to know. HB: What was the hardest challenge? Yonathan: I’m not one who backs down easily. I’m not used to dealing with individuals I don’t like. I’ve taken anger management because I grew up fighting. I was picked on as a child well into my teenage years, so I have a lot of anger built up and whenever someone ever tried it, it ended with them being bloody. I gave up that side of my life, but a certain bird in the house, named George, is poking the beast out of hibernation and he will soon find out that I’m not one to eff with! HB: How has your life changed since? Yonathan: Man! All I can do is smile. I’ve been getting hit up for interviews, being sent scripts, getting emails to collaborate on projects. It’s amazing why reality TV can do for you. Even though everyone always said I was made for reality Tv, I always said I would never do it because of how editing can manipulate you, but I have to commend BET for showing the real Yonathan. Everything you see is me 100%. No extras or fakes added. HB: What’s next? Yonathan: I told y’all I’m a multimedia mogul in the making. I wrote a script called “Bruk’s Brothers” which is basically a guy version of Sex in the City and Girlfriends . I’ve got a well-known EP and director with a cast that includes some of the greats that you currently see on TV. I’ll be shooting the pilot in LA and then pitching it to different networks. My email has some amazing scripts that have been sent to me, for some projects I am considering to act in. Then I’m also going to start a Boots and Hat line that I may even collab with my fellow Cast mate, Javi, on. Currently in the works of getting a pretty dope TV hosting gig as well!
