Ho Sit Down: Court Rejects Pervy Pedo Jerry Sandusky’s Request For A New Trial

Court Denies Jerry Sandusky’s Request For A New Trial Somewhere in the sicko scumbag mind of disgraced Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky, he believes he deserves another chance to prove that he doesn’t deserve to rot in a jail cell for being a peen pandering perv. Luckily, the courts feel otherwise. via NBC Philadelphia Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky should not get a new trial after being convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys, a Pennsylvania appeals court ruled Wednesday. The unanimous decision by a three-judge Superior Court panel came barely two weeks after they heard oral arguments by Sandusky’s lawyer and a state prosecutor. Defense lawyer Norris Gelman said he planned to ask the state Supreme Court to review the case. Sandusky had argued his trial lawyers did not have sufficient time to prepare, a prosecutor made improper references to him not testifying on his own behalf and the judge mishandled two jury instructions. The opinion by Judge Jack Panella said trial judges have discretion about whether to allow pretrial delays, and that in Sandusky’s case the judge carefully considered the continuance requests. Let’s all join together and give this douchebag a big, family style “Ho, sit down! FOREVER.” Continue reading

Ped-O-Files: Former Penn State President Set To Stand Trial For Assisting With Jerry Sandusky’s Peen-Pandering Cover Up

Send these triflin’ fools STRAIGHT to jail! Former Penn State President To Stand Trial For Sandusky Cover Up The former President of Penn State University and two other top officials who allegedly had knowledge that disgraced peen-pandering ex football coach Jerry Sandusky was forcing sex on underaged boys is headed to trial for the shady part he played in the cover up. via ABC News The former president of Penn State University and two other top officials will go to trial for the alleged cover-up of Jerry Sandusky’s child abuse crimes, a court has ruled. Former president Graham Spanier, former vice president Gary Schultz, and ex-athletic director Tim Curley appeared for a pre-trial hearing in which witnesses involved in the case testified about how much the three executives knew about Sandusky’s crimes. Sandusky was found guilty in June, 2012, of 45 counts of child abuse and sentenced to life in prison. Prosecutors allege that the three top PSU executives were informed that Sandusky was seen abusing a boy on campus and failed to tell police, and then lied to a grand jury about what they knew. The men all claim they were not aware that Sandusky was having sexual contact with the boy during the incident in question, but thought he was simply rough-housing with the child. The three are charged with perjury, obstruction, endangering the welfare of children, failure to properly report suspected abuse and conspiracy. Ugh. This entire former staff makes out stomachs turn. They all deserve jail cells right next to each other.

Katie Couric To Sit Down With Widow Of Joe Paterno After just a little over 2-years since his death, the widow of the late former Penn State University coach Joe Paterno will sit down with Katie Couric to spill the beans on the child sex scandal that rocked the nation and sent peen-pandering perv Jerry Sandusky, also a former Penn State coach, to prison where he belongs. via The Hollywood Reporter Katie Couric has landed an exclusive interview with the widow of Penn State football coach Joe Paterno. It is the first in-depth interview Sue Paterno has given since the sex abuse scandal rocked college sports and forever tarnished her husband’s legacy. Couric visited Sue Paterno at her home in State College, Penn., where she lived with her husband of 50 years until his death in January 2011, which came two months after he was fired by the university. It should be quite interesting to hear Mrs. Paterno tell her side of the story about her once-legendary husband’s fall from grace since one of the burning questions that we all wondered about was how in the world the wives of these “men” had no idea what was going when it was happening for so long. Racist Sorority Photo Sparks Controversy at Penn State

A Penn State sorority is under scrutiny – and investigation – after a racist photo from a recent party created a stir online. The Mexican-themed image appears below: The picture, taken around Halloween, shows the women dressed in sombreros and mustaches. Some held signs that read “Will mow lawn for weed + beer” and “I don’t cut grass I smoke it.” Get it??! The photo was posted on Tumblr and Facebook, after which a Penn State blog ID’d the women as members of the Chi Omega sorority on campus. Reaction from the embattled university – still reeling from the Jerry Sandusky scandal – and from the sorority itself came quickly after the image went viral. Jessica Riccardi, president of the Nu Gamma chapter of Chi Omega, confirmed to the school’s Daily Collegian that the sorority is under investigation. Riccardi also issued an apology for the photo, writing, “Our chapter of Chi Omega sincerely apologizes for portraying inappropriate and untrue stereotypes.” “The picture does not support Chi Omega’s values or reflect what the organization aspires to be.” The Penn State Panhellenic Council said, “We are addressing the situation immediately with the members of the chapter in conjunction with their national headquarters.” Lisa Powers, director of public information at Penn State, also said in a statement that “This photo has been brought to our attention, and we have looked into the issue.” “The students are within their First Amendment rights [here], although we are certainly appalled that they would display this level of insensitivity and lack of judgment.” “These costumes and this group do not represent fraternity and sorority life at Penn State University, nor the 95,000 students who attend our university.” “The Chi Omega sorority sisters have expressed deep remorse over this incident.” What do you think? Much ado about nothing? Harmless fun being taken too seriously? Completely racist with no regard for basic human decency? Gabriel Aubry-Olivier Martinez Brawl Deemed "Mutual Combat"; Criminal Charges Unlikely

Forget the He Said/He Said behind last week’s brawl between Gabriel Aubry and Olivier Martinez . Here is what the police reportedly say: Aubry will NOT face any criminal charges as a result of the incident, which he swears under oath was instigated by Halle Berry’s fiancé on Thanksgiving morning – and which the recent batch of bloody Gabriel Aubry photos make clear was especially one-sided. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the fight has been labeled ” mutual combat ,” meaning neither party is to legally blame. Elsewhere, Aubry was shot down in court yesterday in his attempt to overturn a restraining order against him. He is still barred from getting within 100 yards of Berry, Martinez or daughter Nahla. But that document expires tomorrow, at which time the actress and the French actor are expected back in court to fight for an extension.

The Kiddie-Lover Side-Eye: Jerry Sandusky’s Claiming He’s The Victim!! [Audio]

This guy really has some damn nerve. And on the night before he’s sentenced for the Penn State scandal, Sandusky thought it was a good idea to share his side one more time. Releasing an overly-dramatic recorded statement from his cell, Sandusky chose to go on the defense and attacked everyone, from his victims, to the media…even the university, for the reason he’s still locked-up after being “falsely accused”. According to TMZ… In his statement, the disgraced ex football coach says, “A young man who was dramatic, a veteran accuser, and always sought attention, started everything.” Sandusky goes on to say the initial accuser “was joined by a well-orchestrated effort of the media, investigators, the system, Penn State, psychologists, civil attorneys and other accusers. They won. I’ve wondered what they really won: Attention, financial gain, prestige… will all be temporary.” Sandusky also rambles about his attorneys not having enough time to prepare for the trial — in which the jury found him guilty of 45 counts of child ____ deviance — and insinuates all his accusers came forward purely for financial gain. And there’s this odd claim … on the recording, Sandusky says his wife “has been his only partner that was after marriage. Our love continues.” Sandusky is scheduled to be sentenced tomorrow morning … and faces up to 400 years in prison. Wow…homeboy’s crazy! We’ll leave the rest of the comments for you to make…SMH Images via facebook/tmz

Today In Inspired Casting: Al Pacino As Joe Paterno?

Deadline reports that Al Pacino has been tapped to play famed Penn State fixture Joe Paterno, the legendary football coach who enjoyed the winningest reign in history before the Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal marred his legacy. A little side-by-side photo comparison shows that Pacino bears a resemblance to the late coach, if you squint a bit; after a spotty run in film and TV of late (veering from the TV movie You Don’t Know Jack , which earned him an Emmy and Golden Globe, to the Adam Sandler comedy Jack & Jill — let’s not even talk about Dunkaccino ), JoePa’s rise and fall might offer some meaty material for the Oscar-winner. Though the project is still in development — ICM is shopping it around, according to Deadline — Pacino is attached, and a script will be adapted from Joe Posnanski’s New York Times bestselling biography Paterno . Penn State Outlaws Playing of "Sweet Caroline" at Football Games

Penn State University is doing all it can to separate itself from the Jerry Sandusky scandal, which has sent that pedophile to jail , resulted in unprecedented sanctions against the football team and led to new uniforms for the players. How will the fans feel the effects of this sordid situation? Penn State announced this week that it has outlawed the playing of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” at home football games, a single used as a traditional sing-a-long on campus for many years. Track lyrics, as heard below, include the line “touching me, touching you,” and… well… we don’t need to explain why some might see that as inappropriate now, do we?
