Happy 20th Birthday, Jamie Lynn Spears!

Jamie Lynn Spears, who’s been more or less of the spotlight since getting pregnant at age 16, turns 20 today. She marked the occasion by joining Twitter! The sister of Britney Spears welcomed Maddie Briann in June 2008. The father is her former boyfriend/fiance Casey Aldridge. Who knows if they’re still on. Dude didn’t strike us as an upstanding, committed type of guy. We don’t know him personally, but that was our gut feeling. Either way, Jamie Lynn’s doing well. Here’s an adorable pic she shared of herself with Maddie … MOTHER AND DAUGHTER : Aww. Our little girl is growing up so fast. So is Maddie Briann for that matter! Jamie Lynn Spears, America’s favorite unwed teen baby mama (sorry, Bristol Palin), is just a year away from no longer being a teen. Maddie Briann’s mom is 19 today! The little sis of Britney Spears , who desperately needs a role model, has actually done the right thing and laid low, focusing on being a parent since she gave birth. Maddie Briann was born in June 2008. She and baby daddy Casey Aldridge since split, but Jamie Lynn is going strong and setting a good example for teenagers. As in, do not follow this example! Jamie Lynn Spear s looked every inch the young mom as she took daughter Maddie to a Louisiana gas station. Spears, 18, was dressed for the scorching summer in a bright pink T-shirt, skimpy cut-off denim shorts, flip flops and white sunglasses. The actress stopped off at the gas station to pick up supplies and carried in one-year-old Maddie on her hip.
