Pascal Craymer Knows How To Dress

Here’s  Pascal Craymer at the launch of some new fitness magazine called Going for Gold , and I don’t know about you guys, but I’m not used to seeing the busty British nobody this dressed up. I’m pretty sure this is the first time I’ve ever seen Pascal in something other than workout gear,  sweating it up for the paps for those  fake exercise “candids.”  Anyway, it’s no bikini yoga , but it’s nice to see all that hard work Pascal’s been putting in at the beach and at the park finally pay off with a few nice profile shots. Yow. » view all 11 photos Photos: WENN.com

Amy Pascal Steps Down as Head of Sony Pictures in Wake of The Interview Hacking Scandal

Amy Pascal announced today that she will resign from her post as head of Sony Pictures, effective immediately. Often cited as the movie industry’s top female executive, Pascal has been with Sony since 1996. Her departure comes on the heels of the Sony hacking scandal that was sparked by the release of the controversial Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy, The Interview. Pascal’s resignation might be viewed by some as another cyber warfare victory for the North Korean group responsible for the hacks. However, it’s worth noting that in lieu of renewing her contract, Pascal has signed a production deal with Sony that will have her helming some of the studio’s biggest projects over the next four years. In all likelihood, her resignation is just an attempt by Pascal and Sony to distance themselves from one another in the public’s eye. In addition to being involved in the exchange of the now-infamous racist Barack Obama emails , Pascal was widely criticized for her handling of the hacking scandal. She was at least partially responsible for the decision to pull The Interview from theaters , a move that many regarded as a cowardly concession to the terrorists that may have set a dangerous precedent. While we may never know why exactly Pascal chose to jump ship just as the dust from the hacking scandal has conveniently settled, it seems fairly obvious that this major move would not be taking place, were it not for the efforts of North Korean hackers. 9 Things We Learned From the Sony Hacking Scandal 1. New Ghostbusters Cast Revealed! View Photo One email reveals that the studio is hoping to have Jennifer Lawrence, Melissa McCarthy, Emma Stone, and Lizzy Caplan star in the upoming all-female Ghostbusters reboot. Well, “all-female” isn’t quite accurate. The ladies will be joined by an A-list male star, who will apparently need to be dragged to the set kicking and screaming… 2. Bill Murray is Being Forced to Play Peter Venkman Again View Photo Emails form October of 2013 reveal that Sony threatened legal action in order to get Murray to participate in the new Ghostbusters film. We’re sure he’ll really throw a 110% into the role. 3. Get Ready For Drake (as) Penis! View Photo Apparently Drake will play a character named Penis in an upcoming Spike Lee film. That should help him earn some much-needed street cred. 4. George Clooney Called Rupert Murdoch a “F–ker!” View Photo In one of the funnier leaked messages, Clooney attempts to placate execs who are fearful of being sued for his upcoming film (the appropriately titled Hack Attack). Gorgeous George assures the suits that there’s no need to worry about legal action from “f–kers” like Murdoch. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 5. J-Law is Known as “Peanutbutt” View Photo Yes, Jennifer Lawrence’s email address begins with “peanutbutt.” It’s probably better if we don’t get the reference. 6. Boba Fett is Back! View Photo In addition to the highly-anticipated JJ Abrams trilogy, there’s a planned series of stand-alone Star Wars films slated for the near future. An email from one Sony exec to a colleague at Disney indicates that one of the films will center around badass bounty hunter Boba Fett! 7. Angie is a Brat View Photo Scott Rudin fired off an email in which he referred to Angelina Jolie as a “minimally talente spoiled brat.” We get the feeling she’s not used to hearing that sort of thing. 8. Sandler Sucks! One Sony exectutive complained about the declining quality of Adam Sandler’s work, as well as the aactor’s lazy apparoach to promoting his own movies. Sometimes the obvious needs to be stated. Advertisement A message from our sponsor. 9. Hollywood Loves Hillary! View Photo Some of the funnier emails come from execs complaining about A-lost stars hitting them up for donations to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. “Steven Spielberg has hit me for 32 f–king k for some Hillary event,” complains one bigwig. And you thought being forced to buy Girl Scout cookies at work was a pain! The End. Did you like 9 Things We Learned From the Sony Hacking Scandal? Shady Azz Sharpton? Permed Up Al Accused Of Accepting Thousands From Companies To Keep Them From Being Branded Racist

Wow… So he’s a snitch who takes bribes!? If we didn’t already think Al Sharpton was shady enough, the NY Post dropped a detailed report over the weekend that explains how he gets money for NOT throwing cororations under the bust for racism: For more than a decade, corporations have shelled out thousands of dollars in donations and consulting fees to Sharpton’s National Action Network. What they get in return is the reverend’s supposed sway in the black community or, more often, his silence. Sony Pictures co-chair Amy Pascal met with the activist preacher after leaked emails showed her making racially charged comments about President Obama. Pascal was under siege after a suspected North Korean cyberattack pressured the studio to cancel its release of “The Interview,” which depicts the assassination of dictator Kim Jong-un. No payments to NAN have been announced, but Sharpton and Pascal agreed to form a “working group” to focus on racial bias in Hollywood. Sharpton notably did not publicly assert his support for Pascal after the meeting — what observers say seems like a typical Sharpton “shakedown” in the making. Pay him in cash or power, critics say, and you buy his support or silence. “Al Sharpton has enriched himself and NAN for years by threatening companies with bad publicity if they didn’t come to terms with him. Put simply, Sharpton specializes in shakedowns,” said Ken Boehm, chairman of the National Legal & Policy Center, a Virginia-based watchdog group that has produced a book on Sharpton. And Sharpton, who now boasts a close relationship with Obama and Mayor Bill de Blasio, is in a stronger negotiating position than ever. “Once Sharpton’s on board, he plays the race card all the way through,” said a source who has worked with the Harlem preacher. “He just keeps asking for more and more money.” We figured he was up to something but this just seems so greedy and unjust. We just hope some of that fortune being funneled into Nationa Action Network actually goes toward helping the companies that need and want them. Here’s more details: Sharpton raised $1 million for NAN at his 60th birthday bash in October, with donations rolling in from unions and a corporate roster of contributors including AT&T, McDonald’s, Verizon and Walmart. Companies have long gotten in line to pay Sharpton. Macy’s and Pfizer have forked over thousands to NAN, as have General Motors, American Honda and Chrysler. NAN had repeatedly and without success asked GM for donations for six years beginning in August 2000, a GM spokesman told The Post. Then, in 2006, Sharpton threatened a boycott of GM over the planned closing of an African-American-owned dealership in The Bronx. He picketed outside GM’s Fifth Avenue headquarters. GM wrote checks to NAN for $5,000 in 2007 and another $5,000 in 2008. Sharpton targeted American Honda in 2003 for not hiring enough African-Americans in management positions. “We support those that support us,” Sharpton wrote to the company. “We cannot be silent while African-Americans spend hard-earned dollars with a company that does not hire, promote or do business with us in a statistically significant manner.” Two months later, car company leaders met with Sharpton, and Honda began to sponsor NAN’s events. The protests stopped. Sharpton landed a gig as a $25,000-a-year adviser to Pepsi after he threatened a consumer boycott of the soda company in 1998, saying its ads did not portray African-Americans. He held the position until 2007. Do you think what Sharpton is doing is wrong or is it how business is done these days? WENN

Aaron Sorkin To Write ‘Steve Jobs’ Movie

‘The Social Network’ screenwriter will adapt the Apple co-founder’s biography for the big screen. By Fallon Prinzivalli Aaron Sorkin Photo: Alexandra Wyman/WireImage From “The Social Network” to “Moneyball,” screenwriter Aaron Sorkin ‘s work has been widely praised — the former landing him an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Now he’s turning his sights to the highly anticipated “Steve Jobs.” Sony Pictures Co-Chairman Amy Pascal and president of Columbia Pictures Doug Belgrad announced Tuesday that Sorkin will pen the script based on the best-selling biography by award-winning journalist Walter Isaacson. “Steve Jobs,” published October 2011, was Amazon’s best-selling book last year with sales exceeding 2,200,000. Sony bought the movie rights before the tome even released. Pascal commented on the announcement, saying, “Steve Jobs’ story is unique: He was one of the most revolutionary and influential men not just of our time but of all time. There is no writer working in Hollywood today who is more capable of capturing such an extraordinary life for the screen than Aaron Sorkin; in his hands, we’re confident that the film will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining, and polarizing.” Mark Gordon, Scott Rudin and Guymon Casady will produce the project. This film is not to be confused with the other Jobs biopic, tentatively titled “Jobs: Get Inspired,” starring Ashton Kutcher . Sorkin is currently in production for HBO’s “The Newsroom,” which is set to premiere on June 24. He’ll also try his hand as a librettist for the first time on Broadway’s 2013-14 production of “Houdini,” starring Hugh Jackman .
