On Wednesday (Jan. 17), Gucci announced on Twitter that he plans to release a biopic based on his memoir The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, which was released in September. “#TheAutoBiographyOfGuccimane is coming to a theatre near you,” the rapper tweeted. He revealed that he’d be directing the film and added the hashtag #1017Films, suggesting that Gucci may also be launching a film company in the future.

And if the president’s profane position on Haiti wasn’t already clear enough — he reportedly called the island nation a “shithole” and asked lawmakers “Why do we need more Haitians?” — his administration doubled down on it Thursday by preventing people from Haiti from applying to work legally in the U.S. “Haitian nationals applying for H-2A and H-2B visas present extremely high rates of refusal, and those issued H-2A or H-2B visas have historically demonstrated high levels of fraud and abuse and a high rate of overstaying the terms of their H-2 admission,” the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) wrote in an official notice released Thursday. “Haiti has shown no improvement in these areas, and the Secretary of Homeland Security has determined, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, that Haiti’s inclusion on the 2018 H-2A and H-2B lists is no longer in the U.S. interest.” READ MORE: Trump Targets Legal Haitian Immigrants For Deportation The news came as tens of thousands of Haitian immigrants in the U.S. legally were facing the prospects of immediate unemployment because the Trump administration delayed the process of re-registering for the Temporary Protection Status (TPS) program under which they were brought them to the country following a deadly earthquake in 2010. As a result, many employers have reportedly warned their workers who are TPS holders that they may not have a job come Monday, when the protection status was set to expire. I am under pressure,” Edelyne Jean, a nursing assistant in Florida, told the Associated Press . “They say that if I don’t bring anything new by Jan. 22 or the 23rd at the most, I am jobless.” Haitian advocates blamed DHS and suggested the delay was done intentionally to create the situation that TPS holders have found themselves in. Yet once again 60,000 people who have lived and worked in the U.S. for years and have established strong community ties will lose their ability to remain in any meaningful way in a matter of days.” Trump says he’s looking to protect our borders, but apparently he and his Mar-a-Lago club/estate don’t factor into that flawed equation. Kim Zolciak can be a mighty ridiculous human being , and usually when we talk about her, it’s to poke fun. But what happened to her and her family this weekend is no laughing matter. As Kim revealed in a lengthy Instagram post earlier this afternoon, her four-year-old son, Kash, was attacked by a dog, and the poor little boy was seriously injured. “I don’t know where to start,” she began her post. “The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare.” “My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I’ve never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life.” Kim continued “My husband, our daughters, Kj, Tracey, his nanny, Michael Beck and everyone close to us all pulled us together and held each other up.” To really hit the tragedy home, she shared a heartbreaking picture of Kash with his father and Kim’s husband, Kroy Biermann, as he laid in a hospital bed. Poor Kash had such terrible injuries that he required surgery — she explained that he “was in the operating room for a couple hours,” and that “now we are praying for a quick speedy recovery.” Kim was set to appear on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live tonight, but she won’t be able to make the show, for obvious reasons. Still, ever the professional , she said that she’ll “do my best to make it up very soon!” Kim closed her post by thanking her family, friends and fans for praying for Kash, “and most importantly Thank you God for your protection.” Thanks to the “incredible medical team” that’s helping Kash with his injuries, she said that he’ll be able to come home after spending a few days in the hospital recovering. Kim hasn’t explained what exactly happened, what dog attacked her son or why, or what injuries he’s suffered. Understandably so — we’re sure she’s got enough on her plate right now without filling the masses in on every horrific detail. But for once, instead of the comments on her Instagram posts filling up with plastic surgery accusations and general nonsense, it seems her followers are wishing her and her family all the best. She adamantly denied using the money from the fund…but said it was money she saved up beforehand. Mother Who Claimed She Found An Abandoned Baby Admits To Being Mom Via The Grio reports: A woman claiming to find an abandoned baby girl in a Beltsville, Md., neighborhood has admitted to police that she is in fact the girl’s mother. After the baby was reportedly found by Khiana Jackson after stepping out on the back porch, the woman, who originally was identified as a neighbor, called police. As it turns out, however, Jackson was actually the hours-old girl’s mother. While Maryland does have a safe haven law that allows a mother to legally leave a child less than 10 days old at a fire station, police station or hospital, this protection does not extend to children left in people’s backyards. In an interview, Jackson says her reaction to finding the baby was “This is crazy. I’m overwhelmed; what do I do at this point?” Jackson later admitted to police that she made up the story because she had just given birth to the baby girl within her home, and was “feeling overwhelmed,” according to NBC Atlanta. The police indicated that the baby was never actually outdoors. The 23-year old Jackson is the mother of five other children and will be allowed to maintain custody of them. It is uncertain at this time whether she will be able to keep the baby girl. Prince George’s County Police were inundated with calls offering to adopt the baby girl after the first story broke.
