Nancy Wilson and Geoff Bywater: Married!

Heart singer Nancy Wilson and Geoff Bywater got married last weekend. The 58-year-old Wilson confirmed the news on her Twitter and Facebook. “Love was in the air … at the El Paseo gourmet restaurant owned by longtime friend Sammy Hagar,” the couple, pictured below, wrote. “Love rules!” The “What About Love” rocker confirmed her engagement in March via Facebook, writing: “There have been some questions about a certain ring on my left hand and yes – it’s an engagement ring. There’s a new love in my life!” “My fiance Geoff Bywater is a senior exec at Fox who handles music for Glee among many other shows. We are deeply in love, the same age, and both devoted parents. There is so much happiness we share together, and our blended families too.” This was Wilson’s second trip down the aisle: she was married to We Bought a Zoo director Cameron Crowe, 54, from 1986-2010. They have two sons. Congrats to the happy newlyweds!

Baby Mama Drama: NFL Baller Michael Turner Tells His Bitter Baby Mama To Stop Bashing Him On Twitter After She Demands $60K For Daycare

Shoulda never gave you hoes Twitter SMH Via TMZ reports : One of Michael Turner’s many baby mamas continues to rip him on Twitter despite a court agreement prohibiting her from doing so … and the star running back wants a judge to get her to stop … ASAP. Turner and baby mama Maria Grissom are battling in court over Turner’s daycare payments for their daughter. According to documents filed in Georgia, Grissom claims the Atlanta Falcons superstar NEVER pays his daughter’s school money on time is demanding he pay her up to four years in advance … to the tune of $59,121. But Turner is firing back … claiming he DOES pay the school on time and it’s Grissom who is in the wrong … blasting his personal life drama all over her Twitter account in violation of their court agreement. In the docs, Grissom admits to the Twitter rampage, but is adamant that it’s Turner’s fault … claiming she had to defend her reputation ever since one of Turner’s OTHER baby mamas (he has four in all) was involved in a “ghetto fight” at his house that made national news. Turner is requesting to pay all the money he owes directly to the day care and NOT to his baby mama, and for her to stop talking trash about him on the internet. A judge has yet to rule on the case. Backstreet Boys Out Of Boy-Band Battle? Westlife Are Surprised Too

‘When I saw the bands that were listed, I thought we haven’t got a hope in hell in this,’ group member Nicky Byrne says. By Christina Garibaldi Backstreet Boys Photo: Getty Images The first round of MTV’s Battle of the Boy Bands certainly shocked a lot of fans when Westlife overtook early favorites the Backstreet Boys . And fans aren’t the only ones surprised by this early victory: Westlife themselves never thought they would be able to overtake BSB. “When I saw the bands that were listed, I thought we haven’t got a hope in hell in this, especially being up against the Backstreet Boys, to be honest with you. When I looked, I thought, well, these guys are probably going to win this, gonna be there or thereabout,” Westlife member Nicky Byrne told MTV News on Thursday (April 26) via Skype from Dublin, Ireland. “How it came about, I noticed it on Twitter and I went into the MTV website and I said, ‘What’s all this about?’ and I see us up against the Backstreet Boys and I thought, ‘Oh no, what a challenge that is!’ So I put it on my Twitter account and it kind of snowballed from there,” he continued. And snowball it did. The group beat the Backstreet Boys by a fairly large margin after their fans from all over the world rallied for their victory. Yet, according to Byrne, even though he’s ecstatic with the win, he expects there will be no hard feelings between the two groups. “The funny thing is we’ve met the Backstreet Boys quite a number of times,” Byrne said. “It will be interesting to see if and when we ever bump into the guys again to have a little bit of fun, a bit of a chat about it.” Westlife, who have been together since 1998, had minimal success in the United States, with only one single, “Swear It Again,” charting Stateside, back in 1999. Last year, the group announced that after 14 years they were calling it quits following their Greatest Hits Tour, which kicks off next month. “I think our manager really wanted us to announce it as a break, just to say to people that it’s going to be a couple years. We’ll do some different things on our own and see where we go,” Byrne said. “But I think we all knew it was the right time to get away from each other for a long time. And genuinely, I would hate to think that I spent half of my life — more than half my life with the lads — I would hate to think that we would never sing again. But I think what we couldn’t do was lead people on false promises, and you know, whatever the rest of us go on to do, we can’t be holding on to maybe one day do a tour again. So it was the right decision to be made. Everybody is going to walk away from this with great memories and, most importantly, our friendship intact. ” And even though they will remain close after the tour, Byrne is adamant that this will be the last time they will be together as a group. “Right now, there’s no chance of anything ever again with Westlife,” he said. “I know when I’m on my Twitter account, the amount of fans that would love me to say, or would love us all to say, ‘No, there’s still a hope, we’ll do something down the road,’ … but right now, if that happens, that would be incredible. But we haven’t even finished yet. The right thing to say … is right now, Westlife, come June 23, will be no more.” Before they go their separate ways, Westlife are still hoping to have some success in the United States, and what better way to do that than to win MTV’s Battle of the Boy Bands? “What an amazing story it would be to finish our final 14 years to be named or even get far in this competition,” Byrne said. “But even if we don’t, we’ll hold our heads very high and say we never cracked the States, but we gave them a run for their money.” Voting in round two of MTV’s Battle of the Boy Bands runs until noon ET on Monday, April 30. Winners are determined by fan votes, so if your favorite band made the cut, make sure you keep voting. Ke$ha has stooped to a new low on Twitter… literally! The dollar-signed singer – who has tried to get attention in the past for her wild haircuts – has now given followers a glimpse at the other end of her body, as she squatted in the streets of Los Angeles early Wednesday morning and sent out a photo of herself urinating. “Pee pee on the street. PoPo come and get me if you can find me,” Ke$ha wrote. “I blame traffic.” According to California law, if the PoPo had spotted this act, the artist could have been fined $270 fine. Mac Miller To Make Return To ‘RapFix Live’

The 20-year-old Pittsburgh MC is currently on tour for his Macadelic mixtape. By Rob Markman Mac Miller Photo: MTV News Mac is back, so you can expect a Most Dope “RapFix Live” when Mac Miller returns to the red couch on Wednesday. It’s been a hell of a ride for the 20-year-old spitter, and he doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. After landing the #1 album in the country last November with his debut LP Blue Slide Park, Mac has been moving at an accelerated pace. He concluded his 80-date, sold-out BSP tour in December and immediately hit the lab to cook up his Macadelic mixtape , which he dropped as a free Internet download in March. “It’s like the story of someone who is growing up, trying to figure out who he is and trying to figure out what he’s supposed to do in the world and how he’s gonna change it,” Mac told Mixtape Daily of Macadelic. “I think it’s a great piece because it’s a great part of my career, it’s a great time right now and I feel like I been making mixtapes for five years, so this one is very special to me.” The tape features contributions from Cam’ron, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne on the soul-bearing “The Question.” “This song is a real meaningful song to me, man, and I wanted to make sure I got Wayne on something that was heartfelt,” he said of “The Question.” “I got him on a record that I was saying something and not just talkin’ sh–, so this record right here really kinda deals with a question that I’ve been goin’ through in my own head.” Mac is currently out on tour in support of Macadelic, but that didn’t stop him from announcing his next run: the with Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Chevy Woods. “It means everything, Mac’s my little homey. It’s good for his fans; it’s good for everybody who’ve been wanting to see us do what we do together,” Wiz told MTV News of the joint summer tour last week while on the set for Maroon 5’s “Payphones” video in L.A. Catch Mac Miller on “RapFix Live” Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on MTV.com, and be sure to join the Twitter conversation using the hashtag #RapFixLive. Send your questions for the artists @MTVRapFix! The Wanted Want Your Vote In Battle Of The Boy Bands

Round-one voting opens Monday — does the British fivesome have what it takes? By Jocelyn Vena The Wanted Photo: Getty Images Our Battle of the Boy Bands kicks off Monday, and while we imagine you will spend the entirety of your weekend weighing the pros and cons of your fave groups, MTV News reached out to some of the contenders so they could tell you why they deserve your vote. But before we hear from the Wanted, we wanted to take a look at some hard facts. Hey, this is basically an election, so we need to know where they stand on the issues! Highest Chart Achievement While “Glad You Came” peaked at #3 on the Hot 100, they went all the way to #1 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart earlier this month. Standout Video Partying on the beach? Hanging with hot girls? Dancing and having a good time? The band’s “Glad You Came” video is a snapshot into the five Brits’ favorite things to do. (Next up, they will explore similar themes in their “Chasing the Sun” video .) Defining Tune Cheeky, dance-floor-ready and full of euphemisms (really think about it, guys), “Glad You Came” introduced America to the British fivesome. It seems we Americans are pretty glad they came. Debut Album While they have yet to drop their self-titled U.S. EP (it’s out Tuesday), the guys did release their first album, The Wanted, abroad in October 2010, and it peaked at #4 in the U.K. Biggest Competition They are currently trying to fend off One Direction in a race for the hearts of American girls. It’s the Sophie’s Choice of boy-band brawls. So why do the guys think you should vote for them? Their answer might surprise you! “We think you should vote for us because everything that we’ve ever been nominated for that goes to public vote, we’ve never won,” Max George pleaded. “And also, you should vote for us because we are the worst-looking boy band of all time,” Nathan Sykes added. The guys even weighed in on their favorite boy bands of all time. Siva Kaneswaran said, “My favorite boy band of all time is the Backstreet Boys. I have to say Backstreet Boys, because they showed me the reason for being lonely.” “My favorite boy band of all time has to be the Jonas Brothers,” George chimed in. “Have you seen ‘Camp Rock’? Sick film.” Voting in round one of MTV’s Battle of the Boy Bands begins Monday, April 23, at 7 a.m. ET and runs until noon ET on Thursday, April 26. Winners are determined by fan votes, so if your favorite band made the cut, make sure you keep voting. Spread the word on Twitter using the hashtag #BBB and like us on Facebook for updates!
