Get Out! Michelle Williams’ Husband Got Dragged For Saying THIS To Her When She Mentioned His Whiteness

Chad And Michelle Have Us Worried Well, well, well. A lot of the world was pretty skeptical over the Michelle and Chad relationship when it was announced a while ago. Most of the worries came from the fact that nobody knew who the hell this dude was. Now as they embark on their reality show, their issues are in the forefront. Namely about race. Take a look at the latest drama: “I said something to him on the lines of ‘Well, Chad, because you are not Black you would not understand why I communicate the way I do. Maybe because you didn’t grow up around a lot of Black people.’ So that was very, very offensive to Chad.” His response took things beyond the edge, asking her if she’s taken her meds. For those who don’t know, Michelle Williams has been open about her battles with depression and Chad poking her about it is a pretty low blow. Mans is really that insecure about being white that he needed to tear into her like that? Yikes. Twitter is responding with concerns, thinking that maybe a white guy being so insecure about race while marrying a black woman is a red flag. Did Chad just really brow beat Michelle with his white tears about not discussing differences between black folks and white folks because it makes HIM uncomfortable?? #ChadLovesMichelle pic.twitter.com/ukflqxxiOi — Carolyn Wysinger (@CDubbTheHost) November 11, 2018 Take a look at the reactions and dragging for yourself…

Black America ‘Did The Thing’ With High Voter Turnout On Election Day

See the original post here:

S prinkled among the millions of people in Georgia who were forced to wait as long as four hours just to cast their ballots were devoted African-American voters, many of whom couldn’t afford to take off that much time from work. But the chance at helping to make history by electing Stacey Abrams as the country’s first Black woman governor was something they just couldn’t pass up. In the face of numerous obstacles from the big bag of racist tricks intended to suppress the Black vote, the display of perseverance was impressive,  LaTosha Brown , a co-founder of the Black Voters Matter Fund, told NewsOne this week. See Also : ‘Dirty Tricks’: Stacey Abrams Voters Won’t Be Denied As Brian Kemp Rigs Voting Machines “I am very, very proud of Black people. Black folks did the thing,” said Brown who spent Election Day in Georgia helping to monitor and address voter suppression efforts. Brown glowingly recalled how African-American voters came out in droves to elect dozens of candidates who looked like them and to vote for tangible change across the country, but especially in places such as Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. “The turnout, the energy, the way I saw Black people working on the ground — listen, we did our part,” she added. Just finished canvassing in west Atlanta with Killer Mike. @BlackVotersMtr pic.twitter.com/DiZgQWrCWd — LaTosha Brown (@MsLaToshaBrown) November 6, 2018 Early figures supported Brown’s turnout observations. Across the country, overall turnout was at a 50-year high , according to NPR. More than 47 percent of eligible voters cast a ballot. Exit poll figures also showed that, indeed, African-Americans turned out in significant numbers. Black voters accounted for about 12 percent of the overall turnout—comparable to the previous midterm high of 13 percent in 2014, ABC News reported. Although several Black candidates made history, including Lucy McBath , Ayanna Pressley and Jahana Hayes , two of the biggest prizes have so far eluded Black voters. Andrew Gillum , who was competing to become Florida’s first Black governor, failed to win his race , while Abrams in Georgia was pushing for a recount or runoff election after a close race riddled with voter suppression. “Don’t write us off. We ain’t out the game yet,” Brown stated with deep conviction, adding that those two races were still major victories in Southern states stained by a blood-soaked history of white supremacy. Georgia! It ain’t OVER! We still need all hands on deck. We need folks to show up and demand Kemp count every vote. Show up this morning at 10:00am at the state capitol room #203. We can’t let them steal this one! https://t.co/3OPihD5cBd pic.twitter.com/5ULv1TK3Dr — LaTosha Brown (@MsLaToshaBrown) November 8, 2018 Brown also counted the passage of two key amendments — one each in Florida and Nashville — among the key victories for African-Americans. “They were some key critical wins that Black voters absolutely played a significant role,” Brown said. Amendment 4 automatically restored voting rights to 1.4 million ex-felons across Florida. Under the state’s felon voting ban, approximately 21.5 percent of African Americans couldn’t vote before Tuesday. In Nashville, Amendment 1 created a new citizen-led panel to hold the police accountable. Voters overwhelmingly passed the amendment after “a decades-long push from Black leaders in the city,” the Tennessean reported. Those successes didn’t come easy because of widespread voter suppression efforts against the Black people. From her vantage point at ground zero, Brown witnessed many of the suppression attempts in real-time. At a polling station that normally has 30 voting machines, there were just 15, she recalled. There were places that didn’t have power cords for voting machines and others where aging voting equipment was inoperable. Brown said numerous Black voters told her they pressed Abrams’ name before their machines instead selected the name of her Republican opponent,  Brian Kemp , who was overseeing the election as secretary of state. “I’m from Alabama where they are experts at voter suppression and intimidation strategies,” Brown said. “I’ve never seen anything like I witnessed in Georgia.” As a voting rights activist, she has demanded from officials to know why n 2018 Black people were still being mistreated at the polls and required to overcome voting rights obstacles in a nation supposed to be a democracy. “Where is the support from the freaking government, so that our votes are fucking counted?” she demanded. “Why is it a struggle for us to cast our damn vote?” SEE ALSO: Judge Rejects Brian Kemp’s Georgia Absentee Ballot Suppression Attempt Stacey Abrams Campaign Speaks Out On Trifling Brian Kemp Trying To Claim He Won Georgia [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3835568″ overlay=”true”]

Source: Miller Mobley / Miller Mobley With her anticipated memoir  Becoming hitting book stores next Tuesday, Michelle Obama  has launched her national tour on Friday, showing America a more personal and candid side of herself. In an upcoming interview with ABC’s Good Morning   Robin Roberts , she opens about her past fertility issues and a devastating miscarriage she experienced 20 years ago. “I felt lost and alone and I felt like I failed, because I didn’t know how common miscarriages were because we don’t talk about them,” Obama, 54, said. “We sit in our own pain, thinking that somehow we’re broken,” adding, “So, that’s one of the reasons why I think it’s important to talk to young mothers about the fact that miscarriages happen, and the biological clock is real.” Adding, “I think it’s the worst thing that we do to each other as women, not share the truth about our bodies and how they work, and how they don’t work.” This is the first time Mrs. Obama has publicly spoken about her fertility issues. . @MichelleObama opens up to @RobinRoberts in revealing new interview; says she felt “lost and alone” after suffering miscarriage 20 years ago. When asked why she shared that part of her life with the public, Obama stressed that she wanted for people to understand the work that couples need to do in order to stay together. “For those young people out there who think that marriage is supposed to be easy. And marriage counseling for us was one of those ways that we learned to talk out our differences,” she said. “I want them to know that Michelle and Barack Obama who have a phenomenal marriage and who love each other, we work on our marriage, and we get help with our marriage when we need it.” In addition, she described falling in love with Mr Obama one summer night in Chicago. “As soon as I allowed myself to feel anything for Barack,” she writes, “the feelings came rushing – a toppling blast of lust, gratitude, fulfillment, wonder.” Swoon. Source: Mark Wilson / Getty Mrs. Obama also had some choice words about President Trump in her book, stressing that she will never forgive him for starting the Birther Movement, which questioned the citizenship of her husband, the first Black president of the United States. “The whole [birther] thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed,” she wrote. “What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him.” People took to Twitter to commend Michelle Obama for being so candid and open about her life. “One of the worst things we do as women is not share the truth about our bodies, and how they work.” I am so grateful Black women, like Michelle Obama and Serena Williams, are being so honest about the barriers many people face to become parents. https://t.co/0Co4bZ82Qa — Evette Dionne (@freeblackgirl) November 9, 2018 Michelle Obama. Duggar Kids: Who’s the Biggest Rebel Against Jim Bob’s Ridiculous Rules?

When the Duggars rose to fame in the early 2000s, audiences were drawn to their reality shows primarily because Jim Bob and Michelle had already sired a massive brood, and they seemed to have no plans to put the breeding on hold anytime soon. As time went on, however, viewers realized that their fertility was not the most unusual thing about the Duggars. Instead, it was the family's bonkers belief system that made for such compelling viewing. From courtship rules to insanely strict dress codes, the Duggars controlled every aspect of their kids' lives, and it was only a matter of time before said offspring started to rebel. Take a look: 1. Josiah Can’t Be Tamed First, there’s Josiah Duggar. Sure, he recently settled down and got married, but we’re guessing his days as the main cause of Jim Bob’s migraines are far from over. 2. Heartbreaker Josiah is unique among his siblings in that he was involved in a different courtship BEFORE he met his wife. 3. The Mystery Deepens There’s still no word on what caused Josiah and Marjorie to call off their courtship — a move that’s almost unprecedented in Duggar Land. Scandalous! 4. Still Rebelling After his relationship with Marjorie ended, Josiah continued to maintain an Instagram account in direct defiance of his parents’ rules. 5. What Courtship Rules? He and Lauren Swanson also held hands, front-hugged and went on un-chaperoned dates before they were married. Someone arrest this man! 6. Four Can Play at That Game! But no one tossed the courtship rules right out the window quite like John David Duggar and his fiance Abbie Burnett. View Slideshow

Jinger Duggar Shows Off Adorable Mother-Daughter Twinning Photo

Jinger Duggar has been treating Counting On fans to photos of her adorable little family . Now, she and husband Jeremy Vuolo are sharing a new photo. In it, she’s twinning with her 3-month old baby, Felicity. “Like mother, like daughter,” Jinger captioned the photo that you’re about to see. In it, the 24-year-old Duggar daughter is wearing a floral headband. Baby Felicity is wearing a matching headband — it’s just a smaller version for her tiny baby head. While they’re not otherwise in matching outfits, we think that it still counts as twinning. (Seriously, finding a baby outfit that matches adult clothing can be tricky) Besides, the picture is just too cute. This mother-daughter photo is so cute! This is the time of year for dressing up in a lot more than headbands, but the Duggar family does not celebrate Halloween. Michelle Duggar expressed her strong views in a blog post in 2011. “While we do go to pumpkin patches and corn mazes,” Michelle wrote. “We don’t do the Halloween thing.” You miss out on a lot of fun and a lot of culture when you grow up in the Duggar household. “From the beginning of our marriage we just kind of felt like we didn’t want to celebrate that holiday,” she shared. “But,” Michelle admitted. “We enjoy the harvest celebration.” “Our church fellowship has had different celebrations through the years that we’ve been a part of,” Michelle continued. Michelle wrote that these celebrations were “ones where the children can play games and receive candy and toys and do all kinds of fun things, like a cake walk.” Really, of course, the family’s reluctance to participate in Halloween stems from a desire to isolate the children from any cultural experiences that they consider unbiblical. In  Growing Up Duggar  by Jill, Jinger, Jessa, and Jana mention how seriously Jim Bob and Michelle take the supernatural. “One specific thing that our parents have always been careful about is magic,” the book says. “Which often shows up in children’s movies.” “As harmless as it may seem, it’s not a joke in God’s eyes,” the girls say. “Magic, sorcery, witches, spell-casting and the like are all part of the demonic realm that God wants us to stay away from,” the book continues. “No matter how ‘good’ a film containing magic may seem,” the girls warn. “God speaks seriously throughout the Bible.” The girls write that “it is not something to be glorified or portrayed by any means as something fun or attractive.” So we don’t think that Felicity will be going trick-or-treating when she gets older. Halloween, first of all, tends to glorify a lot of those things — you know, people dress as witches and ghosts. Also, the holiday itself is based upon an ancient religious festival of the Celtics, that involved honoring the dead while celebrating the year’s final harvest. While most see Halloween as fairly distinct from Samhain, which some still practice today, to the Duggars, it’s a spiritual threat. That said, Jeremy Vuolo has shown that he’s less strict than Jim Bob and Michelle. Just as Austin Forsyth viewed and reviewed the Marvel film, Thor , Jeremy has demonstrated that he doesn’t share their views. He believes that women can wear pants. Might he one day allow his daughter to dress up as Batgirl or as a princess? Maybe we’ll find out. For now, she’s a literal baby and is perfectly happy wearing a headband that matches her mother’s. Sentient Shamwow Tomi Lahren Told OUR First Lady To “Sit Down” And The Dragging Is Epic

Getty/Michael Schwartz Toni Lahren Comes For Michelle Obama Lukewarm Mayo lollipop is back in the news again. That’s right, Tomi Lahren is trying to grasp for a level of relevance by *drumroll* attacking a black woman. It’s sort of her thing. But it also never works out the way she wants it to, because she will only end up getting dragged and looking like a damned fool every time. So what did she do this time? She went after Michelle Obama, of all people. Michelle Obama said we “had” a great president. By what measure? Not in economic growth. Not in border enforcement. Not in strength on the world stage. Sit down, Michelle. — Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) September 24, 2018 “Michelle Obama said we “had” a great president. By what measure? Not in economic growth. Not in border enforcement. Not in strength on the world stage. Sit down, Michelle.” How dare this unseasoned bread crumb lump even tweet out our First Lady’s name? Don’t worry, Twitter came for her raggedy a$$ as only they could. Tomi Lahren who has a bachelor’s degree from UNLV told First Lady Michelle Obama who graduated cum laude from Princeton and a JD from Harvard Law…to sit down. ‘LHHHS5’ Recap: Safaree Admits He Treated Lyrica To An Eggplant-Themed Peep Show

Source: Greg Doherty / Getty Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood security does a good job of keeping A1 off Safaree’s arse. That’s where we ended last week in case you forgot so we start back there tonight. They calm down a bit and A1 asks him about what happened with Lyrica again, and Safaree gives a stupid, “It is what it is” answer. He also antagonizes A1, telling him that he’s going to text Lyrica and tell her how he’s acting, then he clowns A1’s sparkly shoes. Y’all know A1 has a flamboyant sense of style so that’s always an easy target for everyone. They stay coming for your boy’s pearls too. Anyway, this drama isn’t over but the friendship is definitely a wrap. Meanwhile, Lyrica has been staying with her mother, who plans to ride for her daughter. Fast forward a bit. Now we’re at some Ray J business event on the heels of Safaree’s Eggplant Scandal. You remember when those photos leaked. Now we’re witnessing their reactions in real time. This doesn’t help given the current climate of friendship between A1, Safaree and Ray J with the latter feeling like he’s stuck in the middle. Brooke Valentine is feeling bad for telling Marcus that bit of gossip, especially since Lyrica kept all her tea to herself. She tells Bridget how Lyrica told her that Safaree’s thang wrapped around his leg. This was before Safaree’s pics leaked. So now it’s worth it to wonder if Safaree meant to Snap the pics the Lyrica and accidentally sent them to all of his followers. via GIPHY Lil Fizz is back, and then we meet Roccstar, a new entry to the series. He’s a “superstar” producer so Brooke and Bridget hook him up with Apple, the stripper who wants to be a rapper who has been working with A1. Roccstar is with it, but A1 doesn’t know about this and you kind of get the feeling that this is going to be a problem later down the line. via GIPHY Next we find A1 at home venting to his mother about the Lyrica/Safaree situation. Y’all know his mom never liked Lyrica anyway. Speaking of Lyrica, Lyrica’s mom, Lyrica G (that’s a lot of Lyrica’s) pays them a visit to try to convince A1 not to believe the rumors, but she does it in her, um, very passionate and eccentric way. Basically, she puts some base in her voice, which rubs Mama A1 the wrong way because Mama A1 don’t like Big Lyrica either. But then out of nowhere (or due to editing), A1’s mom throws some cornbread she was preparing and acting like a wild banshee, and all hell breaks loose. Some of that food hits A1 so he’s irritated. Then the moms start trying to throw hands and A1 kicks both of them out. That’s when A1’s mom gets super pissed and tells him that he went Hollywood ever since he met Lyrica anyway and that he think she’s better than she and his big brother. Then she says that Lyrica and her mom her Illuminati It’s a mess. This obviously isn’t a productive situation. via GIPHY Now we find Apple in the studio with Roccstar and it’s just what we suspected. Roccstar is actually trying to steal Apple away from A1 as a way to antagonize him. Like, he wants her to just work with him, and he’s talking crazy trash about how A1 can’t help her, but Apple is hip to game (you know Strippers be knowing). She’s says that now she doesn’t trust Roccstar because how can you trust someone who acts like this. Even Roccstar agrees that he ain’t ish for this. So, Apple refuses to be a pawn and decides to take it on back to A1 and sort everything out. No hit producer that’s really about business would be trying to poach unknown talent. Apple is smart. Be like Apple. Lyrica G continues her lunatic tour by attempting to confront K Michelle at her show. This is a show that Lyrica was actually supposed to open for but got kicked off. Y’all remember that. So, there’s that and then the fact that K Michelle sparked the Safaree drama. Lyrica G is literally outside K Michelle’s dressing room yelling and screaming for K Michelle to come out. Security won’t let her in. Paris, K Michelle’s former assistant, tries to talk sense into Lyrica G. That doesn’t work either but Lyrica G finally gets a clue and leaves. Then more drama comes in to play because Ray is also backstage with K Michelle. Moniece comes through to see K. Michelle and Ray J confronts Moniece about trying to throw a chair at his pregnant wife and for starting the rumor that Brandy was Ray and Princess’ surrogate. Moniece doesn’t care that they feel some type of way and tells Ray to tell Princess to stay out of her way. But Princess can’t wait until she’s clear again to deliver some fade. via GIPHY A1 feels bad about the drama with his mom so he meets up with her for dinner, and it just so happens that his big brother is in town too so of course he’s there. The brother tells him he has some explaining to do for disrespecting their mother. Then they give him the talk about how he changed, and how how Lyrica is a problem and he should consider divorcing her. All that jazz and A1 doesn’t take kindly to this. The convo between A1 and his brother gets really tense and they actually almost fight. It’s like they’re not even related. Security comes through as usual but this situation is sad. Finally, Ray J meets up with Safaree to get to the bottom of the situation with Lyrica because he doesn’t like being in the middle of his friends’ beef. Safaree maintains that he didn’t do anything but then says that he and Lyrica were having a conversation and that he “accidentally” sent her a picture of his meat. Accidentally? via GIPHY Then Ray J pulls a genius move but also one of the oldest tricks in the book for extracting information. He lies to Safaree and says that A1 and Lyrica got back together because Lyrica admitted that it happened. Safaree is there looking like: via GIPHY And that’s how the episode ends. Now we’re getting really annoyed because that’s still not really confirmation whether they had sex or not. What does it mean, huh? They probably didn’t have sex and it could just be the picture incident, though. You know how they like to milk storylines to death. Also, are you noticing how this is the Lyrica and A1 show all of a sudden? Who else is here for it?
