Remember Ravie Loso? She’s the incredibly stacked former dancer who was dating Drake around the time his “Hotline Bling” video was shot. Drake flaunted the Atlanta resident all around Hollyweird for a brief time. Since then, Ravie has been quiet on the net, occasionally posting predictable booty photo here and there. But if you look closely, Cam’ron loves to leave heart eye comments under more than a few of Ravie’s photos. Ravie also went out of her way to post a couple of Cam’s classic songs to her page. Folks seem to think there two are taking their IG affinity into the real world. Ravie comments about their suspected fling after the flip….
Celina Powell is the latest woman to claim that Offset, Cardi B’s fiance, is her baby daddy. Cardi B and Offset both say that the woman is lying … but now we have to wonder if Offset, at least, is afraid that she’s telling the truth. Because, to hear Celina tell it, Offset is ducking and dodging her attempts at a paternity test. If he’s not the baby daddy, why not go ahead and prove it? Cardi B and Offset made a “sex tape” — after a fashion — and released it to the public. They’re engaged. it’s safe to say that they have a pretty good relationship, right? But they’re facing their first real test, as a woman is claiming that Offset is the father of her baby girl. Celina Powell doesn’t seem like she’s willing to back down, either. After Offset sent her a cease & desist, she publicly called him out. So it looks like she intends to hound him until he can prove in court that he’s not the father of her child. We should mention that there’s a credibility issue. Despite being only 22, Celina Powell has identified famous “baby daddies” in the past who turned out to not be the fathers of her children. She acknowledged her dubious history when she shared with the world her claim that Offset is this child’s father … while assuring her fans that she’s not crying wolf this time, she promises . Honestly, Celina’s background makes you wonder if she’s a terrible schemer — like, if she watched fake paternity scams on soap operas and wondered if they were that easy in real life. Or if she might have other issues. Anybody else remember that girl who’s not pregnant who went on Dr. Phil claiming that she is pregnant with God’s child? Claiming random rappers as your baby daddy isn’t much more grounded than that. But … if Offset is just another falsely accused man, then why has he allegedly balked at taking a DNA test? At least, that’s what Celina has claimed that he’s done, after responding to a tweet inquiring about a paternity test. “No her father didn’t accept the dna papers.” But that doesn’t mean that she’s given up. “But lawyers will do their job and he will take it…one day” So … you’d think that Offset would be the one insisting on a paternity test. Even if he didn’t want to bring one up — maybe putting on a show of absolute confidence that it’s not his for Cardi B — you’d think that he’d go along with a request, right? Unless he’s worried about what the results might be. That said … we have to acknowledge that we don’t know, for sure, whether or not any “DNA papers,” as Celina calls them, were actually sent to him and then rejected. It’s a weird situation, folks. We know that Cardi B and Offset are making a show of not believing Celina Powell’s claims about her daughter, Karma, being Offset’s. But what if she is? If so — and that’s admittedly a big if — what does that mean for Offset and Cardi B? Would that make Celina just another baby mama receiving support, or might it spell doom for Cardi B and Offset’s million dollar wedding ? We’ll all have to wait before we know more. Offset included. Not only did he propose to and marry his boo thang Keyshia K’aoir–and have the expensive extravaganza televised–but he’s also been released more music that pretty much everyone in the game. The Atlanta native has always been known to spit out a bunch of content i a pretty short period of time, but the rapper’s recent timeline has definitely been a lot quicker than most would expect. The East Atlanta Santa spent the year making tons of music, and throughout the 12 month perioud has dropped a number of studio albums including Drop Top Wop , Mr. Davis and El Gato: The Human Glacier . His last effort was just released on December 22, but already, Mr. Davis has his next musical venture in line, presumably for the early months of 2018. A teacher named Rachel Gonzalez was arrested after a boy’s father caught her and his son “romping” in her car. While other teachers have been arrested for sexually preying upon their students , this story is particularly unsettling. Because the teacher was 44 and the son … was 13. The only silver lining to this disgusting story is that Rachel Gonzalez was caught and arrested. An underage student’s father notified Bay City, Texas police of an inappropriate relationship between his 13-year-old son and a 44-year-old teacher. We hope that we don’t have to explain why the boy’s name has been withheld. The teacher’s name is Rachel Gonzalez. Apparently, what first clued in the father was discovering conversations on the teen’s phone about their inappropriate sexual relationship. We can’t imagine how horrifying it must be to discover that your very young son is being preyed upon by a much, much older sexual predator. It must be even more chilling to find that the woman in question has been entrusted with the care and well being of hundreds of children. It appears that Rachel Gonzalez may not be the boy’s teacher. The school district reported that it had received “a report of an alleged inappropriate relationship between a student at one campus and a BCISD teacher from another campus.” Given that there are reports of Rachel Gonzalez having been (at least at one time) a fourth grade teacher, that makes sense. (Fourth graders, folks, are typically 9 or 10, not 13) “The District immediately involved the Bay City ISD Chief of Police in order to evaluate the report, and quickly turned the matter over to the Bay City Police Department for a full investigation.” According to Bay City police documents: “During the investigation Detectives got a search warrant to seize and access the phone belonging to the victim. At that time, they were able to locate evidence indicating there was an improper relationship and Detectives requested warrants for the arrest of Gonzalez.” They served those warrants on December 22nd. Rachel Gonzalez was then super arrested. “She was transported to the Matagorda County Jail where she was booked in on charges of On-Line Solicitation of a Minor and Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student.” And, in case you’re worried about this woman seeing the inside of a classroom instead of a jail cell, the school district also added: “The teacher in question resigned from BCISD prior to the District learning of the allegations.” The school district’s Board of Trustees President released an additional statement: “While I cannot provide additional information at this time that could possibly compromise the legal process underway or the safety and well-being of BCISD students.” The Board President then added: “I want to assure our parents and community that student welfare is our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe school environment for BCISD students and staff.” We should note that there are a few things that are unusual about this case: -The scope of the age difference. -That she appears to have been a teacher from another school altogether. -The extent of the victim’s youth, because 13 is (usually) barely pubescent. We may be talking about a 7th grader, here. It’s horrifying. We wish that we knew what sort of screening process schools should implement to prevent the hiring of sexual predators. All that we can really suggest is that, for prospective teachers who think that they might be attracted to future students: perhaps, like diabetics who dream of becoming bakers, they should pick another profession before they ruin some student’s life.
Lots of people say they’re gonna perform some sort of charity or volunteer work during the holidays, but all too often the obligations of the season get in the way. Which is why it’s all the more impressive when someone with as much on her plate as Jennifer Lawrence takes time out of her busy schedule to make the season brighter for those less fortunate. Lawrence stopped by the Norton’s Children’s Hospital in her native Kentucky on Christmas Eve to spread some cheer and pose for photos with staff and patients. It’s the fifth consecutive year that Jen has stopped by the hospital during the holiday season. While many celebs would no doubt take to social media to inform the world of their magnanimity, Jen has made no public mention of her selfless act. In fact, were it not for an Instagram post from hospital staff, we might never have learned of her visit! The photo below appeared online on Christmas Eve, along with the following caption: “Louisville’s own Jennifer Lawrence stopped by Norton Children’s Hospital today to visit with patients, families, and staff,” the hospital shared on their Instagram page on Sunday. “This visit has become a tradition for Lawrence each Christmas. Thank you, Jennifer! You sure do bring a smile to all!” And, of course, Jen is generous with more than just her time. Last year, she donated $2 million to the medical center. Shortly thereafter, she announced the establishment of the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Sure, stuff like this will never grab as many headlines as the rumors that Lawrence is dating Brad Pitt (she’s not, by the way), but this is the sort of thing Jen will be remembered for long after her popularity at the box office has declined. (Not that that will be happening anytime soon.) The impact that Lawrence has had on the young people she visits and their families is immeasurable. Add to that the fact that there’s no telling how many millions of fans might be inspired by her stellar example and perform some of their own acts of kindness, and you start to get an idea of just how awesome Jen truly is. We hear she’s not too shabby as an actress, either!

Security shuts that down immediately, but then DJ Self steps in and actually manages to squash their beef. In fact, Jaquae thanks James R. for “relieving him of his baggage” and the fact that he no longer has to buy her bags and all the expensive things she likes. Then Mariahlynn rolls in and shows off her new breasts. James R thinks her breasts look nice gives her the compliment. However, Mariahlynn starts going off about how disloyal he is and points out that Sophia isn’t even at his little party. Then she storms out in typical melodramatic fashion by knocking over an ice sculpture. via GIPHY Next. Rich calls a meeting with Anais, Navarro and Ashley to inform the latter two that they’re dating, and to try to iron out their business drama. It all goes left when Ashley starts going in on Rich Dollaz for seeing a married woman and generally being the King of Messy anyway. Rich is not here for it so he leaves. What’s really bothering Ashley is that she believes Navarro is cheating on her. She says he has been shady with his phone and consistently texting a specific woman and then deleting said messages. Navarro maintains that he’s not cheating. In his confessional he says that he’s actually planning a surprise spa day for her so he since she has been so stressed lately. Ashley, not knowing this, ends up storming out of their little meeting, but not before tossing water in his face. Later on, we find Navarro and Ashley arguing some more. Ashley thinks his shady behavior is proof that he has been cheating, Navarro is still denying this but not revealing his plan. Then when things get really tense, Ashely reveals that she’s pregnant. Navarro leaves, but wishes they were on better terms. It’s obvious that their professional and personal relationship is crumbling at the worst time. via GIPHY Speaking of receipts, Jonathan confronts Trent again in a more controlled session (no ambushing this time), with actual proof of Trent’s infidelity (because he has been catfishing). Trent turns the tables with his own proof of Jonathan’s shady behavior. He pulls out Jonathan’s marriage license. via GIPHY Jonathan goes off and demands to know where he found it. Trent says Jonathan is addicted to getting married and also says that he’s not even ready to really be serious anyway. Long story short, Jonathan married his “best friend” two years ago. They realized it was a mistake, but Jonathan is in NYC, his “best friend” is in LA and it’s hard to get a divorce when you’re on separate coasts, so they’re separated but not divorced. In short, they’re not on the same page and finally call it quits before the episode is over. Womp womp. lames James R links up with Sophia Body and wants to know why she wasn’t at his single release party supporting him. She’s already over being treated like a trophy. James thinks she should be honored to be his queen. via GIPHY She reveals that she didn’t show up because she wasn’t trying to have James having these expectations of her since she’s not even feeling him like that and feels like she made a mistake by kissing him and that she still has feelings for Jaquae. James R, being butthurt, then tells Sophia that Jaquae called her baggage. Then Sophia gets mad at James because she feels like he didn’t have her back in that situation, so she storms out, but not before throwing a glass at him– Love and Hip-Hop -style. via GIPHY DJ Self is not happy with Mariahlynn’s grind. He tells her that she’s not hustling hard enough as a Gwinnin artist (he thinks Dreamdoll grinds harder), that her temper is too much and that she needs to stop beefing with people and work harder. On the flipside, Mariahlynn thinks no one works harder than her and that DJ Self is the one who has been slacking with her because he’s giving Dreamdoll more attention. The convo ends amicably for now. Later on, DJ Self asks Dreamdoll to give Mariahlynn a pep talk about working harder. Dreamdoll agrees “in the name of sisterhood and the Gwinnin team,” but that fake sentiment goes south when she finds out that her man, Safaree, plans to work with Mariahlynn.” Lordt. Now we’re at the part where Yandy and Remy pop up at Juju’s house because she has been MIA lately. The tea, that we already know by now (thanks to #TheBlogs), is that Juju and Cam’ron broke up. This was a 10-year relationship and she’s hurting. Yandy and Remy are supportive, offer her words of encouragement, and understand that she needs time to heal. via GIPHY via GIPHY The episode concludes with Dreamdoll meeting up with Mariahlynn. This goes all the way south. Remember, Dreamdoll and Mariahlynn lowkey have beef because their friends (Bianca and Bri) are beefing, so they have a hostile exchange about that. Then Dreamdoll says DJ Self wanted her to talk to Mariahlynn because she’s going to flop then calls her a bum b—h who never gets booked. They start going in on each other until Dreamdoll crosses the line again by insulting Mariahlynn’s mother and that’s when Mariahlynn taps into her inner angry cassowary , runs across a picnic table and tries to pop off. However, security grabs them up before they throw hands, but this is far from over, especially after Mariahlynn threatens to take Safaree from Dreamdoll. Mmmmkay. This is far from over, especially when Dreamdoll rolls up on Safaree breathing on chatting with Mariahlynn in next week’s episode.
