Los Angeles Clippers Doc Rivers used a timeout during a contest to urge the Staples Center crowd to stand and clap for Nowitzki. ESPN reports : Dirk Nowitzki had no idea why LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers called a timeout with 9.4 seconds remaining and his team leading by nine points Monday night. Rivers’ reasoning became clear seconds later when he walked to the scorer’s table, picked up the public address announcer’s microphone and gave an impromptu tribute to Nowitzki, the legendary face of the Dallas Mavericks franchise who is in his 21st season. “Dirk! Dirk!” Rivers hollered, gesturing to the Staples Center crowd to show its appreciation to the all-time great who was playing perhaps his last game in the arena, then pointing toward Nowitzki. “Let’s go! According to TMZ , the actor made the claim Thursday while surrendering to police on a felony count of disorderly conduct for filing a false report. Smollett is believed to have purchased drugs from one of the brothers who allegedly helped him stage the phony hate crime. Prosecutors claimed to have reviewed text messages indicating one of the brothers sold Smollett “designer drugs” on many occasions. Legal documents also reportedly show Smollett answering “no” when asked if he had any alcohol or mental health problems. Smollett was released from police custody Thursday on $100,000 bond. He’s expected to enter a plea at his next court hearing March 14

Police say Hans Rogers, 20, of Dallas, Georgia is the man who was nearly shot twice by an unidentified elderly woman after he allegedly broke into her home in rural Jackson County. They found Rogers hiding in an upstairs closet after his victim fired two shots at him as she stood in the kitchen of her home. He was later charged with felony home invasion and burglary. The unidentified woman was in the kitchen of her Dallas, Georgia home when she called the police to report multiple men trying to enter her property. The transcript of what the woman said the intruder is the realest s#!t you’ll read all day: “Okay…come on. I got something for you,” she yelled at the intruder before firing off one shot. The man still found another way to get into the home and ran upstairs, the woman said, before admitting that she shot at him once from the kitchen. “This is taking way too long,” the woman said, asking for help to be sent faster. “They upstairs talking crazy.” The woman then tells the dispatcher that she’s scared before yelling a warning to the man in her home: “I’m waiting on ya. When you come down them stairs, I’m gonna blow your d— brains out. I’m waiting. Come on.” Clearly, meemaw was 100% with the shits. When police arrived they arrested Hans and he was charged with burglary, home invasion and criminal trespassing.

Source: Getty / Getty Texas Couple Found Guilty Of Keeping African Girl As Slave A Northern Texas couple that purchased a Guinean girl at age five and used her as a slave for sixteen years has been found guilty of forcing hard labor on a foreign citizen. Mohamed Toure and Denise Cros-Toure are potentially facing decades in prison after being found guilty of forced labor, conspiracy to harbor an alien for financial gain and the actual act of harboring an alien for financial gain. According to CBS Dallas , the couple forced the young girl to do all the general house labor, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, yard work, and caring for their five children. She was never given access to school or any extracurricular activities like the couple’s children were, even though she was close to their same age. The couple kept all her paperwork and identification, forced her to remain in the US for years after her visa expired (forcing her to be an illegal alien and thus unable to leave their “protection”) and isolated her from her family. They also emotionally and physically abused her. The girl was finally able to escape the home with help from former neighbors. The couple won’t face sentencing for at least another week…but we’re pretty sure they’ll get some heavy time for this one…
Source: Dureuil Philippe / Getty “Dancing Doctor” Sued Again An Atlanta dermatologist is facing 10 new lawsuits from disgruntled patients. Dr. Windell Boutte first made headlines last June when a video was released of her dancing to “Cut It” while performing surgery on a patient. She was then hit with several malpractice lawsuits and agreed to give up her medical license for 2.5 years. WSBTV now reports that 10 new lawsuits have surfaced and a second doctor is now caught up in the case. Licensed anesthesiologist Dr. Roland Pinkney is named in the case after he was seen alongside the dancing doc pointing to an incision area without gloves. According to Pinkney he was shocked to see Dr. Boutte actually make an incision. “It was not supposed to be surgery being performed. When that happened, I said, ‘Back down,’” he said. The patient in that video Latoya Rideau, filed a lawsuit Thursday morning and spoke to WSBTV via an attorney. “I certainly don’t think he gets to pick and choose when he’s a doctor in that procedure, and he certainly shouldn’t have sat back when silent while he was watching all of this going on,” said Rideau’s attorney, Susan Witt. As previously reported Boutte’s patients claimed they suffered infections, disfigurement, even brain damage following procedures. She’s also faced criticism for performing cosmetic procedures such as breast augmentation and butt lifts whole only being a dermatologist. According to DailyMail , hundreds of TSA workers have called out of work “sick” with “blue flu” rather than work for free during Donnie Trump’s b!t¢h fit shutdown of the government. The result is huge lines that create 90-minute waits at major airports like LaGuardia and JFK in New York. There were so few employees that even the TSA Pre-Check was closed completely. On Sunday, a plane traveling from Seattle to Dallas was forced to turn around in mid flight after officials realized a human heart had been left on board. The Seattle Times reports: Passengers were shocked when the captain explained that the heart was intended for delivery to a Seattle hospital after a previous flight from Sacramento. A Southwest spokesman said it was “absolutely necessary” to get the cargo back “as quickly as possible.” The heart had traveled from California to Washington state, across Idaho and back to Washington. The Southwest flight spent about three hours in the air before landing back at Sea-Tac Airport. Dr. Andrew Gottschalk was traveling on the flight and told the paper that while everyone aboard “was happy to save a life,” he still thought the incident was a “horrific story of gross negligence.” Southwest still hasn’t revealed the name of the company that shipped the human heart, but confirmed that it “specialized in shipments that are life critical”.
