We Are Living In A Simulation Because Taylor Swift Is Now More Woke Than Kanye West And Everyone Is Confused

https://www.instagram.com/taylorswift/?hl=en Taylor Swift > Kanye West Remember about 10 years ago when Kanye West hopped on the VMA stage to yank Taylor Swift’s award and pay homage to Beyonce? That sparked a feud between the two that hasn’t ended. No one would have thought, 10 years ago, that in 2018 we’d be getting a Taylor Swift that speaks up for black people and a Kanye West who wears MAGA hats. But that’s exactly what happened. Swift just dropped this IG note on her political views and, spoiler alert: she’s voting democrat. I’m writing this post about the upcoming midterm elections on November 6th, in which I’ll be voting in the state of Tennessee. In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now. I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent. I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love. Running for Senate in the state of Tennessee is a woman named Marsha Blackburn. As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values. I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives. Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values. For a lot of us, we may never find a candidate or party with whom we agree 100% on every issue, but we have to vote anyway. So many intelligent, thoughtful, self-possessed people have turned 18 in the past two years and now have the right and privilege to make their vote count. But first you need to register, which is quick and easy to do. October 9th is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the state of TN. Go to vote.org and you can find all the info. Happy Voting! That’s right, Swift cares more about black people than Kanye West. This is some damn BS. If you had told me two years ago Kanye would be running around in a MAGA hat while Taylor Swift was endorsing democratic candidates, I would have smacked you to the ground and stolen your wallet for wasting my time. — KB (@KaraRBrown) October 8, 2018 Twitter is…not okay. Take a look at everyone having an existential crisis over this. WTF, Kanye. WTF indeed.

Black College Football Week 5: High Cotton

Prairie View A&M defeated Grambling State 22-16 in the 93 rd State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas Saturday night, signaling that a changing of the guard in the SWAC Western Division could be at hand. The Panthers (3-3, 2-0 SWAC) led from wire to wire en route to ending the two-time defending SWAC champion G-Men’s 26-game conference winning streak and beating them for the first time since 2013. Prairie View won even though Grambling (1-3, 1-1 SWAC) held the Panthers’ two most explosive weapons in check relatively well. Quarterback Jalen Morton completed 23 of 34 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 62 more yards. But that was a sub-par performance for him compared to the 511 yards – which included a school record 255-yard rushing effort – and six touchdowns that he accounted for last week. Running back Dewonya Tucker, the leading rusher in all of Division I football, ran the ball 19 times for 72 yards. The Panthers compensated for their offensive unit’s lack of fireworks with a stifling defensive effort. They held the G-Men without a touchdown until the fourth quarter; they harassed Grambling quarterbacks the entire time, registering 10 sacks with defensive end Willie Green accounting for three, and they held the G-Men to 42 rushing yards on 32 attempts. Grambling had 278 yards total offense and only averaged 3.3 yards a play. Grambling’s only points through the first three quarters came on a safety when the G-Men tackled Tucker in the end zone for a one-yard loss and a safety late in the second quarter. Prairie View led 15-2 at the half on the strength of Morton’s first-quarter touchdown passes of 38-yards to Markcus Hardy and 80 yards to Tucker and Zach Elder’ s 43-yard field goal in the second quarter. The Panthers’ final points came on four-yard touchdown pass from Morton to Zarian Holcomb in the third quarter. Backup quarterback Geremy Hickbottom breathed life into Grambling’s offense when he entered the game in the fourth quarter. Hickbottom led the G-Men to a pair of touchdowns, and they recovered an onside kick following their second touchdown. But Panthers cornerback quashed their comeback hopes when cornerback Ju’Anthony Parke r came up with an interception with 1:42 remaining to seal the win. KEY RESULTS North Carolina A&T State 31, South Carolina State 16 – The Aggies regained their mojo after having their 15 game winning streak snapped in Week 4 with a home MEAC victory Thursday night. It wasn’t easy though. North Carolina A&T (3-1, 1-0 MEAC) had to overcome a 16-3 first half deficit – reeling off 28 unanswered points after starting the game in sloppy fashion. The Aggies pounded South Carolina State into submission with their running game. They generated 208 of their 311 rushing yards in the second half.   Running backs Marquell Cartwright and Jah-Maine Martin combined to hammer the winless Bulldogs (0-4, 0-1 MEAC) for 249 yards. Cartwright, the leading rusher in the MEAC with 456 yards, topped the 100-yard mark for the second time in three games with 157 yards. Martin chipped in with 92. Martin got the Aggies’ offense in gear with a 40-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter that cut South Carolina State’s lead to 16-10 at the half. Quarterback Lamar Raynard brought the passing game to the party in the second half with three touchdown passes. Raynard ended the game with 253 yards through the air while improving his record to 29-1 as the Aggies’ starter. Morehouse 23, Kentucky State 21 – The Maroon Tigers used some second half magic for the second consecutive week as they came from behind to claim a road win that keeps them unbeaten. Morehouse (5-0, 1-0)) rallied from a 14-0 first-quarter deficit against Kentucky State (0-5, 0-2 SAIC) after coming from behind to beat Miles 23-21 on the final play a week ago. The Maroon Tigers’ 5-0 record gives them their best start since 2010 when they reached the Division II playoffs. Quarterback Jules St. Ge staked the Thorobreds to a 14-0 lead with touchdown passes of four and 24 yards to Demetrius Anderson and Jordan Level, respectively. Morehouse chipped away at the lead. Santo Dunn scored on a seven-yard run that capped an 18-play, 80-yard drive that took 8 minutes, 41 seconds off the clock. Fernando Sdelamora booted a 36-yard field goal to make the score 14-10 at the half. The Maroon Tigers went ahead 16-10 in the third quarter when Dunn scored his second touchdown on a one-yard run, and they extended the lead to 23-14 on quarterback Michael Sims’ 15-yard touchdown pass to tight end Ryan Edwards. The Thorbreds made the game interesting when Malik Saunders scored on a seven-yard touchdown run with 4:32 remaining in the game. Alcorn State 20, Southern 3 – The Braves were unwelcome guests as they spoiled the Jaguars’ Homecoming by defeating their SWAC rivals for the third consecutive year. Alcorn (3-2, 2-0 SWAC) won the contest in workmanlike fashion. They held Southern (2-3, 1-1 SWAC) to 139 total yards – 63 rushing and 76 passing – while pounding the Jaguars with a running game that produced 243 yards as four difference ball carriers gaining at least 50 yards. Quarterback Noah Johnson led Alcorn runners with 81 yards. Alcorn got a pair of field goals from Corey McCullough, a one-yard touchdown run by De’Shawn Waller and a 36-yard interception return for a touchdown by Qwynterrrio Cole for its points. Southern avoided being shutout when M Fontenot kicked a 28-yard field goal in the third quarter.   OTHER RESULTS MEAC Bethune-Cookman 35, Savannah State 20 Florida A&M 55, North Carolina Central 14 Norfolk State 54, Delaware State 28 SWAC Alabama A&M 21, Jackson State 16 Florida International 55, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 9   CIAA   Bowie State 20, Winston-Salem State 17 Elizabeth City State 24, Saint Augustine’s 17 Fayetteville State, 40, Chowan 38 Johnson C. Andrew Gillum’s Support Extends Well Beyond The Black Community, Poll Shows

T allahassee Democratic Mayor Andrew Gillum , the first Black major party nominee for Florida governor, has strong support for his candidacy outside the state’s African-American communities, according to a new poll. See Also: Here’s What Polls Are Showing About Black Candidates In Key Races A Quinnipiac University survey released on Wednesday showed Gillum with a strong lead among women, Independent and Hispanic voters over his Trump-backed rival Ron DeSantis , WTVJ-TV , an NBC News affiliate, reported. Gillum had a 59 percent to 39 percent lead among women voters. With Independents, the mayor led DeSantis 56 percent to 40 percent, and he garnered 59 percent of the Hispanic vote. Meanwhile, 98 percent of Black voters said they planned to cast their ballot for Gillum. Latest Quinnipiac Poll Has Andrew Gillum With Nearly Double Digit Lead in Race for Florida Governor: https://t.co/xzhwytVZ3R — NBC 6 South Florida (@nbc6) September 26, 2018 Overall, Gillum had a nearly double-digit lead over his GOP opponent: 54 percent to 45 percent. This appears to be the biggest lead in the polls since Gillum won an amazing come-from-behind primary victory in August. Previously, a Reuters–Ipsos–UVA Center for Politics poll published Sept. 19 gave the Black candidate a 6-point lead over DeSantis. Indeed, his poll numbers have increased each week. A Real Clear Politics average of several polls  (covering Aug. 29 through Sept. 20) showed Gillum with an average lead of roughly 4 percentage points. Gillum selected a white running mate for lieutenant governor who brings a surprising asset to the ticket: the support of Black leaders in a key region of the state. Orlando-area businessman Chris King  developed relationships with Black ministers and activists in Central Florida during his run for governor in the 2018 primaries against Gillum. DeSantis, who resigned from Congress on Sept. 10 to focus on the election, came under fire for a racist remark about Gillum less than 24 hours after winning the GOP nomination. He urged voters not to “ monkey this up ” by voting for the Black candidate. He’s also been in the spotlight over his deep connections to white supremacists . Tiffany Haddish Had This Classy Response To Katt Williams’ Comments That She Doesn’t Deserve Her Success

Source: Jason LaVeris / Getty Tiffany Haddish knows how to keep it classy even when she’s clapping back at folks who disrespect her. Earlier this week on the on the  V-103’s Frank and Wanda In The Morning Show, Katt Williams had words about the “Night School” actress claiming that she doesn’t deserve the spotlight she’s been given over comics such as  Mo’Nique. To make matters worse, he also referred to her genitalia as a “diseased vajayjay.” While, Williams tried it, thankfully Haddish finished it. On Friday (Sep. 14), Haddish to took to Twitter, sharing the clip of Williams badmouthing her, saying the following: “It’s official I made it!@KattPackAllDay talked about me and didn’t have his facts right! # Iwin # sheready I look forward to seeing you on Monday Katt, when we pick up our Emmys. I just want to shower you with REAL Love cause you need it, and I Love you .” It’s official I made it!@KattPackAllDay talked about me and didn’t have his facts right! #Iwin #sheready I look forward to seeing you on Monday Katt, when we pick up our Emmys. I just want to shower you with REAL Love cause you need it, and I Love you https://t.co/WVOgZvwLZn — Tiffany Haddish (@TiffanyHaddish) September 14, 2018 In case you need a refresher, here’s what Williams said about his co-Emmy winner. “She’s been doing comedy since she was 16. You can’t tell me your favorite Tiffany Haddish joke. Why? Because she ain’t done a tour yet. She ain’t done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back to back for an hour to nobody,” Williams said. He added, “They like her because she wanna sleep with a white man. That’s why the only thing she said was I wanna give it to Brad Pitt. She said she’s got a diseased vajayjay ain’t nobody checking for that.” Sadly, Haddish wasn’t the only one who Williams attacked. He had a lot to say about a slew of upcoming Black comedians such as  Jerrod Carmichael , Lil Rel , Kevin Hart  and  Hannibal Buress . “They’re going to let you do your special, Jerrod Carmichael, but nobody’s gonna watch it. They’re gonna let you be a star, Lil Rel, but you’re ugly and white people don’t believe in ugly stars. They believe that you have to be somebody women want to sleep with and men want to be, but because we’re black they say ‘oh you don’t even deserve that.’ So we get Kevin Hart, Lil Rel, Jerrod Carmichael, Hannibal Burress, just dudes that no woman would talk to in Lennox Mall, but you’re making them superstars because you know ain’t nobody gonna sleep with them.” Sigh. Why can’t we all just get along? Black College Football Week 3: Living Life Like It’s Golden

“Just win, baby’’ was the mantra of Al Davis, the late owner of the Oakland Raiders, and it pretty much sums up Tuskegee coach Willie Slater’s sentiment after his Golden Tigers escaped with a hard-fought 24-17 SIAC road win against winless Clark Atlanta Saturday night. The Golden Tigers (2-1) were guilty of enough miscues to cost them the victory. They gave up a safety, lost a pair of fumbles – one on Clark’s goal line and one that was returned for a touchdown – and they committed numerous mental gaffes. “It wasn’t pretty, but we’ll take it,’’ Slater. “We were our worst enemy, but we kept fighting back.’’ The Golden Tigers spotted Clark an 8-0 lead after the Panthers (0-3) took the opening kickoff and drove 71 yards on nine plays for a touchdown and made a two-point conversion. Quarterback Charles Stafford was 4-for-4 passing for 46 yards on the drive. Clark was aided by a 15-yard personal foul penalty against Tuskegee on third down after the Golden Tigers had denied the Panthers a first down. Tuskegee’s defense regrouped after the first series and didn’t allow any points the rest of the game. “They caught us by surprise with some of the things they were doing,’’ Slater said.  “We had to make some adjustments.’’ The Golden Tigers had to adjust their offense as well going into the game. Junior quarterback Ahmad Deramus made his third career start, replacing Jamarcus Ezell. Ezell underwent season-ending shoulder surgery earlier in the after he was injured last week against Albany State. Deramus had an up-and-down performance. He completed 10 of 17 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns. But he also lost a fumble on a first-and-goal play at the Clark one yard line when the Golden Tigers were in position take a two touchdown lead. In addition Deramus was sacked three times. At least twice he was out of the pocket and could have avoided being sack had he thrown the ball away. “He’s our guy,’’ Slater said. “He had some big plays, and he had some bonehead plays. We’ve got to iron out the bonehead plays. He’s a winner. We got to make sure we don’t put him in situations he can’t handle.’’ The Golden Tigers didn’t lead until Deramus came up with on of the big plays Slater referred to. He connected Peyton Ramzy on 55-yard touchdown with 8:16 left in the game. The score gave Tuskegee its first lead of the contest, 24-17, and provided the margin of victory. Earlier Deramus found Javarrius Cheatham for a 42-yard touchdown pass as time expired in the first half that tied the score 10-10. KEY GAMES Jackson State 18, Florida A&M 16 – Special teams rose to the occasion Tallahassee, Fla., as the Tigers claimed an inter-conference victory for their fist win of the season. Christian Jacquemin booted four field goals, and Khalil Johnson blocked a 30-yard Florida A&M attempt with four minutes left in the game that would have given the Rattlers (1-2) the lead. Florida A&M gained 463 total yards – 340 passing – but the Rattlers only put the ball in the end zone twice. Their other points came on a 98-yard point after touchdown return by Terry Jefferson. Jackson State (1-1) forced three fumbles to help keep the Rattlers at bay. Fort Valley State 21, Miles 19 – The Wildcats worked some fourth-quarter magic to pull out an SIAC road win – their first victory of the season – in Birmingham, Ala. Quarterback Slade Jarman found Jaylen Lowder along the right side line with 21 seconds left in the game to give Fort Valley (1-2) the win. The scoring drive consumed 6 minutes, 5 seconds and covered 65 yards. The Wildcats’ first lead came with 7:25 remaining in the fourth quarter when Lorenzo Smothers scored on a six-yard run that put Fort Valley on Top 14-13. Miles (0-3) responded with a five-play, 80-yard that gave the Golden Bears a 19-14 lead after their two-point conversion attempt failed. Bowie State 47, McKendree 41 – The Bulldogs built a 22-point first half lead and coasted to a road victory in Lebanon, Ill. Quarterback Amir Hall threw for 352 yards and pair of touchdowns for the Bulldogs (2-1). Hall completed 41 of his 52 throws. He also ran for 95 yards and two scores. Bowie State led 35-13 at the half.   OTHER RESULTS Weather Hurricane Florence wreaked havoc on the Black College Football schedule, causing 11 games to be postponed or cancelled. MEAC had three games involving five conference members postponed. The Thursday night ESPN matchup featuring North Carolina Central at South Carolina State was postponed until Nov. 24. South Carolina State President shutdown the campus and sent students home on Monday ahead of the storm.  Howard’s home game against Savannah State was postponed. No makeup date has been announced. Norfolk State’s contest at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., has been tentatively rescheduled for Dec. 1, pending Norfolk State postseason status. If the Spartans win the conference championship and the accompanying berth in the Celebration bowl or qualify for the FCS playoffs, the contest will be cancelled. The CIAA was hit hardest with six games involving 10 schools being cancelled. Tennessee State’s contest at Hampton was cancelled and will not be rescheduled. It is the  second consecutive week that weather has wiped out a Big Blue contest. Its game against Jackson State on Sept. 8 was cancelled due to lightning. Allen’s game at Brevard (N.C.) was also cancelled. This Ain’t It Chief: Texas State Education Board Votes To Remove Hillary Clinton From History Classes

Splash Hillary Clinton may not be the most liked person in the world , but she made history as the first woman to run for President of the United States and we shouldn’t let that go unnoticed. Unfortunately for students it Texas, Mrs. Clinton’s historic feat will be disregarded after the state’s decision earlier this week to remove Hillary Clinton and Hellen Keller from history lessons. Newsweek reports: The vote comes as the board makes efforts to “streamline” the social studies curriculum in the state, The Dallas Morning News reported. The preliminary vote by the 15 member board group created a rubric to decide which historical figures were “essential to learn about and who wasn’t.” But for some odd reason, the same curriculum deems it mandatory for students to learn about Bill Clinton ‘s impeachment. Thoughts?

Hilariously Petty Jimmy Kimmel Books Donald Trump’s Porn Star Mistress For Interview Immediately Following State Of The Union

Jimmy Kimmel Books Trump’s Former Mistress For SOTU Interview Remember the news about a porn star that Trump had a cheeto-dusty tryst with just one year after wedding Melania? He apparently took her down back in 2006…but suddenly had his lawyers pay her $130,000 not to talk about what happened back in 2016, when it started looking like the election might actually go his way — despite all the p*ssy-grabbing and whatnot. Well, adult film actress Stormy Daniels maintained her silence as part of that $100k+ NDA…but the beans got spilled regardless . Now, her club appearances and other bookings have been mysteriously getting cancelled right and left, even though she hasn’t publicly parted her lips on the night in question yet. But Jimmy Kimmel is looking to change that. As a matter of fact, he thinks the night of the State of the Union address would be a perfect time to hear what Stormy has to say about what went down between her and y’all’s lil President. And he says he has TONS of questions for her: I am pleased to announce that the very gifted @StormyDaniels will be on #Kimmel Tuesday 1/30 after the #StateOfTheUnion . I have MANY QUESTIONS! #MAGA — Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) January 26, 2018 We don’t know if this forfeits her $130,000 payout …but we’re assuming she’s able to make much more than that if she goes public with her story.
