Kim Zolciak: Don’t Worry, Kash Still Loves Dogs!

It’s easy — and fun — to give Kim Zolciak a hard time, because, like most reality stars, she can be a little ridiculous. But her son Kash suffered a traumatic dog attack — just a little over a month ago. Now Kim’s shared the most heartwarming update on his progress. He’s doing so well! Keep in mind that the attack was so vicious that he had to go to the hospital  and undergo surgery. He’s going to be just fine, but still. Kim shared on Instagram that, even on his second day in the hospital, he was already happy to snuggle a service dog. And now she’s sharing photos of him on Snapchat.where he helped a stray dog that had just given birth. So, fair warning: these pics will melt even the iciest heart. Most traumatic injuries are accompanied by emotional trauma. In some cases, it’s important to learn from the experience so that you never repeat a mistake. In other cases, “learning” from your experience a little too well can keep you from enjoying life. Most of us have, at some point or another, met someone with a gripping fear of dogs. Sometimes it’s just an irrational fear, possibly brought about by — as fake as this sounds — traumatic experiences that their ancestors endured. Look, scientists are saying that phobias might be caused by that, not us. In other cases, they’re people who went through what young Kash did — they met one of the few dogs in this world that isn’t a being of absolute good. If you had a traumatic experience with the ocean, fine, you can just avoid going into the ocean again. It’s easy — we’re not in the ocean right now. Humans don’t really belong there anyway. Dogs, on the other hand, are part of our families and part of our society. Not being a dog person can kind of be a dealbreaker for a lot of future relationships. And people will totally judge you for it. Dogs are precious and being afraid of them is gonna get in your way throughout life. But just look at how well Kash is doing! There are grown-ass adults who lack his maturity, but this little boy is 100% down to snuggle each and every dog. Seriously, Kim Zolciak said that Kash kept trying to feed the stray dog his breakfast, because he is just unbearably sweet . We wish him the speediest possible recovery. We also wish that we knew more about the original incident where he was attacked. But apparently Kim’s being tight-lipped about it … well, as tight as those lips of hers can get, anyway … based on legal advice. That’s life, we guess. But at least dogs are still cute. Tony Awards 2016: Who Won?!?

The 2016 Tony Awards aired live from New York on Sunday night. Although host James Corden and company were forced to take a sobering tone due to the tragic Orlando shooting that took place in a gay nightclub just hours prior to the event. “Our hearts go out to all of those affected by this atrocity,” Corden said to open the ceremony, adding: “You’re not on your own. Your tragedy is our tragedy. Hate will never win. We have to make sure of that. Tonight’s show stands as a symbol of that principle.” And that show did have to go on, despite the death of 50 people in Florida. As expected, the best-reviewed and most popular production in Broadway dominated the winner’s circle. Voice of Charlie Brown FLIPS OUT in Court: Watch!

Talk about a giant meltdown, Charlie Brown! Peter Robbins – a child actor who voiced the beloved Peanuts character in a series of television specials – ranted and raved in court last Friday against his own attorney, the judge and a bailiff in a bizarre tirade that was video camera. “I hope you drop dead of a heart attack!” Robbins yelled at San Diego Superior Court judge Robert O’Neill during Friday's hearing. The 58-year old pleaded guilty in 2013 to threatening his girlfriend and stalking the plastic surgeon who performed a boob job on her. Robbins was subsequently arrested on a number of probation violations, including drinking and cutting off his GPS monitor. He was sentenced to five years probation and ordered into a live-in drug treatment program. On Friday, in court for a hearing to determine if he ought be jailed for violating probation, Robbins totally lost it. As you can see above, he cursed off the judge and mocked his own lawyer. “He’s rubbing me up, he’s got a gun!” Robbins also said of a bailiff who touched him. “Run for your lives, he has a gun – run for your lives!” As a result of this breakdown, a mental competency hearing has been ordered for Robbins.

Dog Protects Pet Lobster from Becoming Dinner

Chalk up another entry in our rundown of unexpected dog friendships . The video above features a German Shepherd named Sammy who is being very protective of his new pal, a lobster who Sammy's fellow dog would like to eat for dinner. But not on Sammy's watch! Check out the funny footage to see Sammy play some impressive defense in honor of the lobster, only (we assume) for him to later be disappointed when his family intervenes. Because, we hate to break this to you, Sammy… but that lobster is most definitely on your humans' menu.

Man Forced To Have Toes Amputated According to Mail Online A Colorado man had three toes amputated after a 78-year-old veterinarian allegedly gave him medicine meant to treat cancer in dogs. A veterinarian for 54 years, Francis Freemyer is accused of illegally treating at least one human with disastrous results. The animal doctor was cited by officials for rubbing Dermex, a salve used to treat skin cancer in dogs, on the man’s foot, causing it to become infected and resulting in the man losing toes. Freemyer denies the charges and insists that he only treats animals. Dermex is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use on humans and is still in testing on animals, but Freemyer swears by the drug – he says it cured him of melanoma. Cops alleged the folksy animal doc was ‘very energetic about his confidence in his ability to fix the foot’ and applied the ointment to a 58-year-old man’s toes when he went to the Eldred Animal Hospital in June complaining of sore toes, according to a police report. The man’s foot became severely infected, resulting in three toes being amputated at a local hospital, according to reports. Authorities told local media that Freemyer admitted to treating the unidentified man in exchange ofr payment, but he has denied these claims in several interviews with local media. ‘I don’t treat people,’ Freemyer told KMGH. ‘I treat dogs and cats and cows and horses and fish and snakes and all of those things, anything that comes in the door – except people.’ A follow up visit to a regular doctor resulted in the man being admitted to a hospital and his toes being removed after his infection made its way to the bone, according to KMGH. Officials think there may be other humans Freemyer has treated. ‘This isn’t something that we run across every day and it is something that we would like to see if there’s other people out there that this person may have actually treated as well,’ a Greeley Police spokesperson told KDVR. Freemyer sees it as a witch hunt, telling KDVR ‘this is just such, it’s such a crock of, well, anyhow… the doctor’s the one that’s after me.
