If you’re a fan of the insanely long-running Law & Order franchise, you know that producers like to explore recent scandals in topical “ripped from the headlines” episodes. So we suppose it was only a matter of time before the Josh Duggar molestation scandal made its way into the writers’ room. In an episode set to air next month, the detectives of SVU will investigate the parents of a religiously conservative reality TV family – after their 13-year-old daughter winds up pregnant. While the show never goes easy on its “especially heinous” criminals, if comments made by series regular Peter Scanavino are any indication, the Duggars will be portrayed in a particularly harsh light: “With the Duggar one, it was like the double-whammy because it was his sisters and the fact — I mean, honestly, I feel like we’re dealing with some topics this season that feel a bit meatier than some lunatic fringe family,” Scanavino said in a recent interview. “I have never been so infuriated with someone’s level of hypocrisy, and lying, and then displacement of responsibility onto something else…When I think about that guy, it boils my blood, I will say.” Hopefully Josh’s rehab facility doesn’t have TV. Season 2 of Orange is the New Black hasn’t even premiered yet, but the groundbreaking Netflix original series has already been renewed for a third season. OITNB actress Laura Prepon made the announcement today on her Instagram page. Reportedly, Prepon quit Orange is the New Black after season one, but has since announced that she will return for a few episodes in season two before coming back as a series regular in season three. Man, it can’t be easy to write someone in and out a prison show like that. But hey, Prepon or no Prepon, OITNB is one of the most original and cringingly hilarious shows we’ve seen in years, and we’re thrilled to have at least two more seasons of commissary drama and Pornstache creepiness to look forward to. Netflix reports that OITNB is its most watched original program, but the site curiously doesn’t reveal how many people watch its shows. OINTB season 2 doesn’t premiere until June 6th so if you haven’t seen it, or just want to relive every moment of Crazy Eyes’ awesomeness you can watch Orange is the New Black online on TV Fanatic to catch up. After 10 months in hiding, Casey Anthony may soon resurface after being subpoenaed in a lawsuit by Zenaida Gonzalez, a.k.a. Zanny the Nanny. Investigators have been waiting outside her residence in Florida for days to serve her with a subpoena in a defamation lawsuit filed by Gonzalez . “Our investigation team has had her whereabouts pinned down,” says Gonzalez’s lawyer, Matt Morgan . “Their backs were against the wall.” “Her attorneys said that they would accept service on her behalf.” Gonzalez filed suit over Anthony’s comments in 2008 that a babysitter named Zenaida Gonzalez had kidnapped Anthony’s 2-year-old daughter Caylee . The toddler was found dead and Anthony was charged with murder. She was found not guilty after a sensational trial in July and went into seclusion. There was no babysitter by that name, but Gonzalez – who had nothing to do with Casey – claimed defamation because the two names are the same. The defamation case has proceeded , with Anthony living in a secret location in Florida (where she must remain due to her probation for check fraud). A judge finally ordered that Casey Anthony’s attorneys must disclose her whereabouts so that she may be served and answer questions under oath. Anthony had planned to leave the country after her probation was finished in September, but she now will must return to Orlando to face Gonzalez. Gonzalez, who is seeking unspecified damages, is “happy” to hear that Casey “will be held accountable just like everybody else,” says her attorney.

A week after his November 9 debut on the Fox musical series, Criss’ rendition of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” is a top-selling song on iTunes and the first “Glee” single to become a Billboard #1 single. Not surprisingly, the Internet’s been buzzing with rumors that Criss is being bumped from a recurring role to a series regular on “Glee.” But if that’s the case, it’s news to the actor. “The weird thing about that is, I hear it from all these different blogs and interviews. … It’s never really been officially confirmed to me,” Criss told MTV News. “I think the option is there and that they want to keep Blaine around.” Promotion speculation began swirling a day after Criss’ “Glee” debut as an openly gay glee club member from rival Dalton Academy (and potential love interest for Chris Colfer’s character Kurt). Deadline broke the news that Criss was in talks to become a series regular — a status that would take effect during the show’s already green-lit third season. Creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy seemed to confirm as much in an interview with AfterElton . “Darren has become such a sensation in one week, which I love,” Murphy told the website. “I think there’s a hunger for him and a positive relationship role model. He’ll definitely continue through the year and longer. We just signed a deal with him, so I don’t know.” Criss, who originally auditioned for the role of footballer heartthrob Finn Hudson (played by Cory Monteith), said that regardless of a potential promotion, he feels blessed to be a part of the hit series. “As of now, I’m just a guest star.
