As has been explained and detailed many times over the past few months, Colton Underwood has never been inside a woman. But ABC has now announced the date on which he’ll premiere inside The Bachelor Mansion as the lead star in this ever-popular franchise. The network just confirmed that Season 23 of The Bachelor will kick off on January 7, 2019. The former football player first competed for Becca Kufrin’s heart on Season 14 of The Bachelorette this year — and he later shattered Tia Booth’s heart on Season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise. Underwood has been making his reality show rounds, but, as he’s mentioned on multiple occasions, he’s never gone all around the bases with a woman. We don’t mean to keep hammering this point home, but you better believe ABC will continue to promote Underwood as a virgin all throughout his upcoming season. “I’m very excited,” Underwood said on Good Morning America two months ago, adding: “Third time’s a charm.’ That’s what they say, right? That’s what I’m hoping for.” Colton also seems aware that his selection as the Bachelor wasn’t met with universal praise. Some critics out there think he’s too boring; too vanilla; not horny or lewd enough to be entertaining. He’s aware of what these folks have been saying and he’s trying to stay above it all. “People hate what they don’t understand & try to destroy it,” Underwood Tweeted in early September , adding: “Only try to keep yourself clear and don’t allow that destructive force to spoil something that to you is so simple, natural & beautiful.” You can’t deny that he seems like an incredibly nice guy, but that almost seems to be the problem Bachelor fans have with him. Underwood actually met three of the women competing for his affection when he taped an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show this fall. He told the comedian at the time that he’s looking for someone who is a “good person” and “could be a good mother” one day. Hear that, potential suitors?!? “I feel like I was born to be a dad,” the 26-year old added. “I’m super excited about this.” As for what else Underwood is hoping to find on the show? Other qualification he has for a future wife? Colton sounds open to almost anything or anyone, but did say the following to Ellen: “I like to be challenged in a relationships. “My motto for this season is to live in the moment. I’m going to be present and just enjoy myself and have fun. The other two shows, I had to deal with some situations. Now I just want to relax and have fun.” The question is: Will he fall in love with one women or two ? View Slideshow: The Bachelor Season 23: Cast Revealed!
Southern Charm is no stranger to controversy — most notably the stunning rise and fall of Thomas Ravenel . This time, it’s Cameran Eubanks who’s been put in the hotseat. Not by police, but by her own followers. When she shared her opinion about vaccines, the backlash was so intense that she deleted her tweet — and apologized. On Thursday, Southern Charm star Cameran Eubanks decided to encourage her followers to make responsible health decisions. She posted a photo of the bandage on her arm, announcing that she had just receive her flu vaccine for this year. Cameran then encouraged her fans and followers to do the same. It’s not just the right thing to do for themselves — it can help to protect others, including those with compromised immune systems. The backlash to her post was enough that she promptly deleted it. After deleting her post, she shared an undeserved apology message with her followers. “I just deleted a post that I made today about my belief in getting the flu shot,” she began. “Never did I think it would cause such a fuss,” she explains. A few years ago, it might not have. But thanks to internet algorithms, dangerous misinformation spreads like a virus. “I’m sorry to all I offended who don’t believe in vaccinating themselves and their children,” she writes. “If you do not vaccinate I do not think you are stupid or wrong,” Cameran generously claims. Not everyone would be so charitable in their assessment of people who endanger their children and others by believing falsehoods. “We just disagree,” she writes. “I have always said I will not talk about religion or politics on social media,” Cameran concludes. “And now I’m adding vaccines too.” This is not the first time that Cameran has been taken aback by an unexpected controversy. “Palmer had hers today,” Cameran shared about her 11-month-old. “I played baby shark and not even a whimper. Couldn’t believe it. God bless that annoying ass song!” Her Southern Charm costar, the incomparable Patricia Altschul, also posted on Thursday after she received her flu shot. “@caconover is right! I just had my flu shot and I can only walk backwards #southerncharm #medicine.” Craig Conover, everyone’s favorite formerly reformed playboy who talks like a frat guy, has some wild opinions about vaccines. He called them a “crazy government shot” that would force him to walk backwards for the rest of his life. Honestly, that’s not the worst thing that we’ve heard an anti-vaxxer say, but … that’s not saying much. Patricia was not the only one who leapt to Cameran’s defense. “Um your post literally reminded me to sign up for ours,” wrote one fan. “Appointments booked. Thank you for posting about it!” “It’s not a matter of belief or disbelief, nor opinion. It’s a matter of science and facts,” correctly asserted another fan. That comment continued: “Vaccines save lives and suffering and those who choose not to certainly have the right to that choice, but yeah, they are wrong.” “My family doesn’t get the flu shot,” wrote another commenter. “And I still found nothing wrong with your post!” Vaccinations aren’t just a personal decision — they help protect those with compromised immune systems through “herd immunity.” Someone whose immune system doesn’t function at full capacity cannot be vaccinated, so they are vulnerable to the flu — or something worse, like measles. But everyone with whom they come into contact is vaccinated, then they are insulated by the “herd” and less likely to be exposed to a contagion. As for the theories about vaccines being dangerous … some of that is misinformation, and some is fearmongering. (Personal note: I am one of the one-in-a-million people who had a strongly adverse reaction to a vaccination as an infant; the real virus would have been worse and I’m glad that I was vaccinated) Vaccines do not cause autism, but even if they did, we would all rather see a child be autistic than die of a preventable disease. Forgive the most obvious pun in the history of writing, but it simply must be done. And here it goes: Mike Sorrentino officially finds himself in a bad situation. As sorry as we are for going there, we’re guessing this Jersey Shore mainstay is even more sorry at the moment for having not paid his taxes back in the day. He has been sentenced to eight months in jail as a result. The MTV personality and his brother Marc were indicted in September 2014. Then, in January of this year, they pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion and actually faced a five-year prison sentence. (Marc was sentenced to 24 months in prison on Friday.) Fast forward seven days to this morning and The Situation was accompanied to the courthouse by fiancee Lauren Pesce. All the familiar Jersey Shore names — Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio and Angelina Pivarnick — were all spotted on the scene as well. So Sorrentino at least had plenty of support when he learned his fate. On top of the eight-month prison sentence, Mike must also complete 500 hours of community service and was given $123,913 in restitution already paid, plus a fine of $10,000 that must be paid within 30 days. The day before the sentencing, Snooki told Us Weekly that the cast was “hoping for the best,” adding of The Situation: “He’s just such a good person. He changed for the better. He’s a totally different person. He doesn’t deserve this right now, but obviously you gotta get that done.” Sorrentio and Pesce are allegedly planning a prison wedding at some point within the next year, as Mike tries to give himself something positive to look forward to in light of this news. In pre-sentencing memos obtained by the Associated Press yesterday, Sorrentino’s lawyer argued he should receive probation, stating that the MTV star played a minimal role in the supposed financial conspiracy … … and has worked diligently to overcome substance abuse in the time since his arrest. Conversely, prosecutors asked for a jail sentence of 14 months, arguing that such time would send the message that “tax fraud will be met with real punishment.” They also noted that Sorrentino’s substance addiction didn’t stop him from structuring cash deposits to avoid government scrutiny. Sorrentino has been to rehab on two occasions to try and overcome this addiction. Earlier this year, he told People Magazine that he has “worked so hard to turn my life around and be the best person I can be,” adding the following of appearing on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 2. “I had a very strong foundation for my recovery with over two years [sober] when I entered the house. “But I did have to challenge myself to go out and film a whole season of Jersey Shore and have fun without alcohol — to show the youth out there that it is possible.” The Situation’s status for Season 3 of this reality show revival is unknown right now. But it isn’t looking good.
Cristy Caserta, a woman who vied for the heart of Brad Womack on The Bachelor Season 15, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday after suffering an apparent seizure. She was 38 years old. According to law enforcement officials, per TMZ, Caserta was attending a class at a school in Sunrise, Florida when she suddenly fell forward at the desk where she was sitting. Her alarmed classmates quickly dialed 911. Tragically, however, Caserta went into cardiac arrest as the paramedics arrived and administered CPR. She was transported to nearby Westside Regional Medical Center … where they continued efforts to save her, but it was too late. She was pronounced dead not long after her arrival. The police have said they don’t suspect foul play and that no drugs were found in Caserta’s system. An autopsy will be performed Friday to determine the official cause of death. This is what the Sunrise Police Department in Florida said about Caserta, who worked as an attorney: “The students around her noticed her coffee fell to the ground and thought maybe she fell asleep, but she was unresponsive when they approached her. “They called 911, and Fire Rescue showed up and started CPR and she was still unresponsive.” As mentioned above, Caserta was featured on Womack’s second season as The Bachelor. She was sent home during the first week. Stephen Carbone, the blogger behind the Bachelor spoilers site Reality Steve, paid tribute to Caserta on Thursday night, writing: “Sick to my stomach to see that Cristy Caserta from Brad Womack’s 2nd season has suddenly passed away. “Cristy was always there to give me legal advice in the past. I’m at a loss after seeing people post on her FB. Just spoke a couple weeks ago. RIP my friend.” In January, Caserta started a job working as a corporate lawyer for a healthcare staffing agency in Sunrise. She had worked as a lawyer at a different company during her time on The Bachelor and was granted leave to appear on the series. Think Arie Luyendyk Jr. is having a series of bad days at the moment? He very clearly is. That’s what happens after you break your fiancee’s heart on national television and then sound like an insensitive jerk on TV when talking about it… … and then propose to ANOTHER woman in front of millions of people. But it turns out that Arie may have had worst days in his past; at least one in particular. Did you know the controversial Bachelor was once arrested?!? This isn’t brand new information. It’s been out there for years, ever since Arie was a contestant on The Bachelor. But it’s maybe worth revisiting now that Luyendyk is very much back in the news. In October of 2008, Luyendyk was arrested in for driving with a suspended license in Scottsdale, Arizona. According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, he was also ticketed for multiple traffic violations, including speeding, failure to obey a traffic signal, unsafe lane changing and for failing to provide proof of insurance. He was booked and posed for a mug shot and everything: Arie didn’t serve any jail time, but this mark is on his permanent record. The former racecar driver probably doesn’t want us bringing it up again in public. But c probably didn’t want him to bring ABC cameras along when he dumped her, so, yeah… whatever. It’s hard to have a lot of sympathy for the guy. Said Arie to Entertainment Tonight, regarding why he (temporarily) destroyed Becca’s soul in such a manner: “I just wanted there to be no questions on that breakup. “I know that it’s a very public relationship, and I think that doing that on camera would just let everyone know that that decision was solely mine, and it told the story of how I ended up here, with her.” Ah, right, he did it for Becca. Arie then had the gall, in this same interview, to complain that he , too, was a victim! “The way the breakup was shown, I think, in its unedited version, was a little unfair to me,” he added. “But what can you do? Wait… WHAT?!? The nerve of this guy! It was unfair to not edit an interview?!? To simply show exactly what was said on both sides?!? Sheesh. In the end, Arie says he’s happy to be engaged to Lauren Burnham and Becca will go find a better guy as The Bachelorette. So everyone basically wins here. But Arie still sucks. To the horror of fans and everyone else, Heather Locklear has been arrested for domestic violence and for allegedly assaulting a police officer. While this isn’t the first time that Locklear’s been in trouble with the law, this sounds serious and deeply alarming. Fans will be relieved to know that she’s taking this seriously. She is reportedly checking in to a rehab facility. On Sunday night, Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of both domestic violence and assaulting a police officer. Authorities received a disturbance call, which apparently made by Locklear’s own brother, and responded. Upon arrival, officers noticed visible marks on the face of Locklear’s boyfriend, Chris Heisser, that they interpreted as signs of battery. But apparently Locklear lashed out, flailing and kicking and successfully striking three officers before she was finally cuffed and carted away. The one charge of domestic violence is a felony. She is also facing three charges of battery of emergency responders, which are misdemeanors. She’s been bailed out since, however. RadarOnline reports that the 56-year-old actress has now, with the support of her boyfriend, entered a treatment facility north of Los Angeles. This was apparently a voluntary decision that she made after being bailed out of prison. Cynically, one could look at this move as an attempt to cover for her alleged misdeeds that happened on February 25th. Entering rehab of your own accord will look better in court. Optimistically, maybe she’s just as horrified by her alleged actions towards her boyfriend and towards police and wants to make sure that she never does anything of the sort at any time in the future. Notably, this is reportedly her seventh stint in rehab — at least. Reportedly, she went to rehab over the holidays following a different domestic incident. Police conducted a search of Locklear’s home on Tuesday. The reason for the search is that the actress allegedly threatened to shoot them if they ever again entered her home. No matter what her state of mind was at the time when she made that horrifying threat, that’s the sort of thing that law enforcement must take seriously. Imagine if, the next time that something horrible like this happens at her home, officers respond to find that she makes good on her threat. Unlikely, one hopes, but the police want to make sure that they aren’t sending officers into the jaws of death. While hopefully it was just Locklear’s “uncooperative” and “combative” mood talking, police were unable to locate the firearm that Locklear has registered in her name. As we mentioned, this is not Heather Locklear’s first run-in with the law. Not by a long shot, unfortunately. In September of 2008, she was pulled over for a DUI (there’s a long story there, including it having been reported by a former gossip magazine editor who also photographed her and sold the pictures for a tidy sum). This led to Locklear pleading no contest in 2009. It’s important to note that, thankfully, no one was injured in that case. Also in 2008, someone who claimed to be Locklear’s doctor made a phone call claiming that the actress was attempting to commit suicide. Though things seemed fine when responders arrived at Locklear’s home, she did end up checking into a facility for psychological issues, including anxiety and depression. In 2012, Locklear’s sister called emergency services and reported that Locklear was taking prescription drugs and alcohol and that she feared for her sister’s life. The next day, however, Locklear appeared to be out of the woods. Many believe that Locklear has multiple issues that haven’t been resolved or properly treated, including psychological struggles — and we doubt that she herself would disagree with that assessment at the moment. That said … does that excuse alleged domestic battery? Her alleged violent blow-ups have led to hospitalizations and drama before. Some are seriously questioning whether it’s safe for anyone to be in a relationship with her at this time. Everyone hopes that she makes a recovery and comes out of rehab with a sound mind and a commitment to being a better person. View Slideshow: 22 Most Memorable Celebrity Mug Shots of All-Time
We want to do it quickly! So Luyendyk told People Magazine this week about his impending wedding to Lauren Burnham. The disgraced Bachelor explained to the publication that he and his second-and-then-first choice for a wife have been planning their big day for months and that it will definitely happen this year. But will it, though? Will it really?!? Fans around the globe are wondering whether Arie and Lauren will truly make it down the aisle, partly due to the roundabout way in which they got together: First, Arie dumped Lauren for Becca Kufrin. Then, he proposed to Becca. Then, he called Lauren around New Year’s, told her he still had feelings for her and learned she was still interested in him. Then, he gathered with an ABC camera crew and told Becca that he wanted to have a romantic weekend with her in Los Angeles. Then, he dumped her . Then, he proposed to Lauren on last night’s After the Rose special. And…that brings us to today! Arie and Lauren are well aware that they are plenty of doubters out there, as well as plenty of haters. “We don’t really care what anyone else has to say,” Burnham tells People of her critics, but we can’t imagine she really means this. And whatever, the point right now is not whether Lauren and Arie are concerned about the opinions of others… the point is whether others are correct. Kelly Ripa, for example, responded to someone on Twitter last night who predicted that Arie and Lauren will last for 100 days as a couple. “You’re being generous,” the talk show host joked in response. Yet we somehow don’t think she was joking. No matter how in love Bachelor-based couples look on television, the following fact remains: Only one of 22 Bachelors has actually married the woman to whom he proposed on the show. Granted, Arie did not technically propose to Lauren on the show itself. He proposed on the after -show — but does this really give anyone comfort? Does it really make anyone think there’s a very long-term future for the couple? Both Arie and Lauren are saying all the right things, too. “Love is not always perfect,” Arie tells People, getting all profound and adding: “Everyone finds each other in a different way. It’s not always a fairy tale, but as long as Lauren and I have each other, we’re happy.” Burnham, meanwhile, claims the way Arie selected Becca and then her is actually a positive sign: “It gives me confidence in our relationship knowing that he truly wants to be with me and he took this huge risk to make it happen.” Yes, sure. This absolutely may prove to be prescient. Or Arie and Lauren may have broken up by the time you read this. What do you think? Yes, that actually happened on The Bachelor finale last night . All The Bachelor spoilers you had read about, yet had difficulty believing, actually became a reality: Arie Luyendyk Jr really did propose to Becca Kurfin in Peru, selecting her as the winner of his season and his heart… … only to turn around a short while later and dump her for runner-up Lauren Burnham! For real, people! “Sometimes when I’m on these little getaways with Becca I think about, What would this be like with Lauren? ” Arie told the camera during the third hour of this stunning finale, adding: “It just kills me, because I have a great woman next to me. I go to bed and I think about Lauren. I wake up and I think about Lauren.” “And I know Becca sees when I struggle. She sees the fact that my mind is somewhere else. She knows that I think about Lauren.” Explaining his “guilt” and how he made a big “mistake”to viewers, Arie later welcomed Becca to Los Angeles, sat her down on the couch – and dumped her! “The reality of it is that being with you, although it’s been everything that I wanted, I still think about [Lauren],” Arie told Becca, earning points for honest… we guess. “Are you f-cking kidding me?” Becca replies after Arie admits he wants to see if there’s a “possibility” for him and Lauren. This scene, of course, was filmed several weeks ago. How does Becca feel about the shocking and emotional development now? “He’s a good person, I don’t think he’s a monster and purposely did this to hurt me and make me feel this way,” Kurfin tells People Magazine , expounding as follows: “But it’s just the result of his actions.” “At the end of the day, I don’t think he thought through everything of how ending things with Lauren would be, how being engaged to me would be and what breaking up with me and going back to her would be.” “I don’t think he thought it through, but I don’t think he did it maliciously to break my heart.” That’s a mature way to look at things. And likely an accurate one. Watch The Bachelor Season 22 Episode 10 Online Arie is getting roasted over every Internet coal right now, but would it have been better if he denied his feelings for Lauren, stayed with Becca and broke up with her prior to the wedding anyway? Only one of 22 Bachelors has ever actually married the woman he chose on the finale. This type of matchmaking simply does not work and perhaps Arie should actually get some kudos for being honest with himself and realizing what he needed to do before it was too late. Not that anyone can blame Kurfin for her bitter feelings. “I never thought for a million years that once the going started to get tough that he would throw in the towel and jump ship and say, ‘Oh sorry, I changed my mind,'” she now says to People. “I didn’t think we were at that point whatsoever.” Becca also blames Arie for doing the heartbreaking deed in front of ABC cameras, which is a very good point. She says getting dumped in this manner was “embarrassing” and adds: “There was a better and more tactful way to do it. “A breakup is hard enough, and to have it all filmed and have to re-watch it and know that people all across the country are watching you get your heart broken, it is embarrassing. It’s not fun. “I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It was like a slap in the face.” The two-hour After the Rose special airs tonight on ABC. We’ll discover the status of Arie and Lauren’s relationship during this unique episode of the show. Becca is quick to say she doesn’t blame Lauren for her role in this debacle of a romance, just Arie for how he handled the whole thing. But she’ll be just fine in the end. “At the end of the day I wouldn’t’ change the experience because I met so many amazing people and I fell in love and I had this great experience and memories,” she concludes to People. View Slideshow: The Bachelor & The Bachelorette: 31 Most Stunning Exits Ever! “I’m still going to feel a sense of compassion for him because I did love him but at this point, I want him to be happy, I want to be done and not have to worry about them anymore. “They’re going to be together and do their thing. I wanted to move on and have my person that I can focus on and live my life with. At the end of the day, I do forgive him.” And, hey, perhaps she’ll end up as The Bachelorette !
The Bachelor’s penultimate episode of Season 22 began with three women, but only two would receive roses from Arie Luyendyk Jr. If you read The Bachelor spoilers , you know who predictably moved on to the finale … and how the finale is just the beginning. As revealed weeks ago – and seemingly confirmed on Sunday’s Women Tell All special, Arie gets engaged next Monday night. Then Luyendyk does something super f–ked up, according to Caroline Lunny, who’s close to one of the final three, Becca Kufrin. We leave it up to you to decide if you want to check out those links and learn more. For now, let’s break down the overnight dates. (Also known as the long-awaited episode in which Arie romances Becca, Kendall Long and Lauren Burnham in the Fantasy Suite.) Arie and his trio of finalists headed for Peru for what truly may have been the most intense and save installment in Bachelor history, as the Main Hunk kicked things off by taking Kendall out . She told the viewers that she was “falling” for Arie, yet also knew she was emotionally lagging behind the other two women. “If Arie proposed to me today, I’d probably say no,” she actually admitted, earning points for a bit of honesty. However, all it took was a day of riding on dune buggies for Kendall to say she wanted to ride Arie raw, accepting his invitation to a fantasy suite. “I feel like I don’t want to move forward without knowing that there’s more than just the physical side – but after spending the day with you and talking with you tonight, I feel like you really made me so much more comfortable,” she explained. After a night of presumably hot sex, Kendall’s mind was changed and made up: She wanted that proposal and she wanted it bad! Next up, Arie took a shower (most likely) and then took out Lauren . They enjoyed time in the air over Nazca Lines, although Lauren was clearly stuck in her own head. Arie complained that he could only see “glimpses” of this “incredible woman,” to which she replied that she might actually leave the show. How come? Because she was jealous that Arie was also dating two other women. (Note to Lauren: It’s gotten better at least, right? He was dating 23 other women, like, eight weeks ago.) How did Arie figure out how to get Lauren into bed solve this trust issue? He told her he loved her! Just like that! Out of nowhere! “It’s just kind of crazy how quick and how hard I fell for you,” he says, adding: “I just want to let you know that I do feel confident in all this, because I love you. And I would hate to lose you. It feels so good to say that.” Cue the waterworks! Cue Lauren assuming this meant Arie wanted to marry her, not just ravage her between the sheets! “I just can’t see Arie ending up with anyone else but me,” Lauren said the next morning, after the two continually told each other they were in love. From there… Arie went out with Becca , who he dubbed “safe and comfortable.” The date? A trip on a catamaran. All that was on Becca’s mind? Telling Arie how she felt about him. She didn’t think Arie would reciprocate her feelings, but she just had to go for it. “At this point, I just feel so confident with you and where I’m at with you,” she said. “I’ve been dying to tell you that. I do. I do love you.” And guess what? Arie concurs! He whispers the L Bomb right back in response! And then he says it again and again after Becca asks him to and.. well… … let’s just hope Lauren wasn’t watching this part of the episode. “He just told me he loves me, and I am shocked,” Becca said later. “I did not think he would say that back, honestly. I’m so full and so happy and there’s just so much love, I feel like my heart is exploding. “I want to hear it. I want him to keep saying it over and over and over!” View Slideshow: The Bachelor Stars Ranked: Which Hunk is Hottest? She even added: “I see my life partner and my husband and the father of my children. I see it so clearly. Nothing can get in the way at all.” After another session of banging a finalist, Arie said Becca was “literally perfect” and that he had even considered proposing to her on the spot. It’s a good thing he didn’t, however, because her ex-boyfriend suddenly showed up on the scene! Some dude named Ross appeared and said he was determined to get Becca back after the two had dated for seven years. “I didn’t know anything about this show,” he said hilariously on camera. “I didn’t know it ended in a proposal until someone told me. Then I knew I had to do something.” Before confronting Becca, Ross told Arie that she was “the love of my life” and he just had to see if she felt the same way about him. Arie replied that he wouldn’t get in the way… Ross went to Becca’s hotel room… and total awkwardness ensued. “I feel like you live your life in a movie, and you think it’s going to work out like The Notebook,” she told him, and she wasn’t finished: “This is like, you inserting yourself into my life, and that’s not your place. You are holding on to a shred of hope that we had years ago, so long ago. “We have both changed so much. You don’t really know who I am anymore, and I don’t know who you are anymore. I can’t go back to that. I don’t want to go back to that.” Harsh, but honest. Goodbye, Ross. So that brings up to the Rose Ceremony and Arie saying each remaining woman is “amazing and special.” But one apparently was not as amazing and special as the other two. “We had an amazing night together, and I always have so much fun with you,” he told Kendall, prior to destroying her heart and her spirit. “I know that next week is big. I’ve just been thinking a lot about us, and I just don’t know… I don’t think we can get there.” And that was that. Kendall took the news pretty well, actually, perhaps it finally hit her: Wait, I was one of three woman this dude banged in three nights! I can deserve so much better! Are you ready for the grand finale next Monday might?
The Bachelor Winter Games is more than just a way to pass the time between Bachelor episodes and reading each of The Bachelor Spoilers that leaks. It's also a wild ride. This episode saw a very memorable Ghost homage on a surprisingly successful date. There was also an epic kissing contest with high stakes. But Ben Higgins realized that he was in the wrong place. After talking it over and crying over Lauren Bushnell, he decided that it was time to leave. For starters, it turns out that Dean and Lesley aren't just both beautiful — they're both pretty good with a pair of skis, blowing everyone away as they raced down the slopes. Josiah couldn't help shading Dean Unglert at little — referring to Dean having “so many women at his disposal.” It sounds like a compliment or perhaps even a neutral description, but it's to remind everyone of Dean's disastrous love triangle in Paradise . And Clare is much harsher about it. (Oh, Deanie Babies, the Bachelor Nation is still so disappointed in you) However, Dean and Lesley won two date cards and after a lot of soul-searching, decided to hand off one of them to Kevin and Ashley. Which is how we got this: That's right, folks. Kevin Wendt and Ashley Iaconetti did a full-on Ghost reenactment. You'd think that a date that includes Ashley confessing that she's a virgin would be spent awkwardly, but Kevin was totally understanding. (He is, after all, Canadian — politeness is kind of their brand) That didn't stop either of them from enjoying their spin pottery date. And Ashley said that she could really see herself falling for Kevin. A lot of folks are rooting for these two. After Tiffany realizes that it was time to say goodbye, Ben Higgins started questioning whether The Bachelor Winter Games was really best for him at the moment. This resulted in the tearful heart-to-heart that he had with Chris Harrison, which you can see in the video below. “Coming back to a place like this really brings up a lot of weird memories.” He says that he's haunted by the “ghosts” of his past, which means that this would have made a great Halloween episode. Alas. “And then, to try to engage in relationships here, and know that the last time that I did this was one of the best moments of my life. …” Sometimes, you don't know that you're in the wrong place until you're there. “But, right here, right now, it just doesn't feel right.” “My fear is not entering into a relationship, my fear is not pursuing somebody.” But he does know what his real fear is: “My fear is that if I [were] to be broken again, I'm not full enough right now to recover from that.” We can totally understand that. You need to feel secure in yourself, emotionally. Some wounds stay raw for longer than you would think. And perhaps being on The Bachelor Winter Games has exacerbated that. And then he talks about what sounds like being deeply impacted by comments and fan speculation — and not only that which was hurtful or intentionally hurtful.
