Zayn Malik: FIRED From One Direction Due to Drug and Alcohol Use?!

It’s only been one day since Zayn Malik quit One Direction , but fan theories as to why the fan-favorite pop star chose to part ways the group that made him famous are everywhere on the Internet. Zayn loyalists believe his management’s explanation that Malik quit due to stress. Others blame Zayn’s fiancee, Perrie Edwards , claiming that she convinced him to call it quits so that he could focus on their relationship. Now, a new theory is emerging that’s sure to enrage the millions of Directioners who counted Zayn as their fave. Radar Online is reporting that sources connected to the band have revealed that Zayn was actually fired as a result of his escalating bad behavior: “Zayn’s alcohol and drug use became a huge problem,” one insider claims, adding that Malik was eventually given an ultimatum: sober up, or hit the road. “He chose not to get clean and that is when they parted ways,” the source claims. “They gave him every opportunity to clean up his act, but he just couldn’t do it.” Malik’s alleged drug use first came under scrutiny last year when video of Zayn and Louis Tomlinson smoking a joint leaked online. Months later, another Zayn substance abuse scandal erupted when Matt Lauer questioned the rest of the band about his absence during an appearance on Today.  “He’s in bad shape, which is the real reason he went home to London,” says the anonymous insider. “He’s been going down fast and it was decided that an intervention was needed.  “It was decided that it was best for him to go home and take care of him for right now.” That explanation might never be confirmed, but one thing is for sure – the many zealous fans who have already r eacted to  Zayn’s  departure on Twitter will likely have an opinion or two about this latest allegation. Adam Lind: ARRESTED For Failure to Pay Child Support!

Troubled Teen Mom 2 “star” and professional baby daddy Adam Lind was reportedly arrested this week after missing several child support payments. A spokesperson for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department in South Dakota says Lind was released from custody after forking over $874 to Taylor Halbur. That would be the mother of his second child, Paislee. Halbur took Lind to court last year for falling several months behind on his payments, and we’d be hopeful that a few hours behind bars might have helped teach him a lesson. Doubtful. After all, Lind was jailed for his third DUI  shortly before Halbur gave birth, and he crashed a car while driving recklessly just a few months later. Of course, Adam isn’t famous for his idiotic behavior or his relationship to Halbur. No, you probably know him best for knocking up Teen Mom 2 cast member Chelsea Houska and proceeding to do his best to ruin her life year after year. Fortunately, these days, Houska and Halbur have joined forces , and they seem intent on ensuring that Lind winds up behind bars and away from their kids.  That shouldn’t be too difficult. Andreas Lubitz, Germanwings Co-Pilot, Wanted to "Destroy" Plane on Purpose, Investigators Believe

Andreas Lubitz, the co-pilot of the doomed Germanwings flight that crashed into the Alps this week, set out to destroy the plane on purpose, officials believe. Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin, citing “black box” recordings, said Lubitz was alone in the cockpit when the Germanwings plane crashed, killing 148 . He intentionally started the fatal descent while the pilot was locked out, and there was “absolute silence in the cockpit” as the pilot fought to re-enter. Robin said “the most plausible interpretation” for this turn of events was that the co-pilot had deliberately barred the pilot from re-entering the cockpit. Robin said, “We hear the pilot ask the co-pilot to take control of the plane and we hear at the same time the sound of a seat moving backwards and the sound of a door closing.” He said the pilot, named in the German media as Patrick S., had probably gone to the toilet, and “at that moment, the co-pilot is controlling the plane by himself.” “While he is alone, the co-pilot presses the buttons of the flight monitoring system to put into action the descent of the airplane. He operated this button for a reason we don’t know yet.” “It appears that the reason was to destroy this plane.” Lubitz was alive until impact, the prosecutor said. Air traffic controllers made repeated, failed attempts to contact the aircraft, upon which passengers could be heard screaming just before the crash. So who is Andreas Lubitz and why would he do this? Details are emerging of the German co-pilot’s past, although his apparent motives are a mystery. Lubitz, 28, had undergone intensive training and ” was 100 percent fit to fly without any caveats “, according to Carsten Spohr, the head of Lufthansa. The German carrier, which owns Germanwings, says his training was briefly halted six years ago, but “the suitability of the candidate was re-established.” German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters that the co-pilot’s apparent actions had given the tragedy a “new, simply incomprehensible dimension.” The Airbus 320 from Barcelona, Spain to Duesseldorf, Germany, hit a mountain in France, killing all passengers and crew on board earlier this week. Official have said that the co-pilot was “not known by us” to have any links to extremism or terrorism, though the thorough investigation will continue.

Showtime has confirmed that the former Mrs. Tom Cruise will play a “major” role on Ray Donovan Season 3: she’ll come on board the drama as a shrewd business woman named Paige. According to the network press release, the character will be the daughter of billionaire producer Andrew Finney (to be portrayed by Ian McShane), who enlists Ray’s services. Holmes, of course, will forever be remembered by television fans as Joey from Dawson’s Creek, but she has more recently appeared on episodes of How I Met Your Mother and Eli Stone, along with the miniseries The Kennedys. If you’re not familiar with Riff Raff, just imagine if someone threw Kesha in a blender with the worst ’80s neon fashion and then poured that toxic concoction into one of Lil Jon’s bejeweled pimp goblets. He’s a rapper (and apparently an aspiring pro wrestler) but Riff is best known for briefly dating Katy Perry and just generally being a ridiculous human being. Mr. Raff famously bid farewell to his epic coke and booze habits recently in hopes of bulking up for his WWE debut. Fortunately, his new life of (relative) sobriety hasn’t made him any less of a blinged-out human acid trip, as you can see in the video below: Riff Raff Diet Plan “I don’t wanna be lil something. Lindsay Lohan: Prosecutor to Push for Prison Time?!

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to trouble, but she may be in deeper than usual this time. We learned yesterday that Lohan is scrambling to complete her community service in order to avoid being locked up. She reportedly has until Wednesday to finish 15 hours of service that were supposed to have been completed by November. The slap on the wrist sentence stems from a 2012 car accident in which Lindsay slammed into an 18-wheeler  with no explanation.  Now, Radar Online is reporting that Lindsay may find herself locked up if she doesn’t figure out a way to complete her service hours today, as the prosecutor in her case is reportedly recommending jail time for the troubled actress. “She deserves to go to jail for the complete lack of respect she shows the system,” a source close to the case tells Radar.  The court is said to be especially irritated by the fact that Lindsay has spent the past week carousing in Europe, rather than serving her hours. “Of course she was partying in Paris. That is her life,” says the insider. Lindsay contracted an untreatable virus known as Chinkungunya during a recent vacation and she’s been using that as an excuse, but the court is reportedly not buying it.  Lindsay is not actually required to be in court tomorrow, but she may show up to plead her case. Bill Cosby Releases Statement: I’m Far From Finished!

The Bill Cosby sex scandal may soon land the comedian in court, as sources say model Chloe Goins plans to press charges for an assault that allegedly took place at the Playboy Mansion in 2008. Sources say Cosby is running scared and asking Hugh Hefner for dirt on Goins . But if the TV legend is worried about going to prison, he’s certainly hiding it well. The embattled comedian issued a statement yesterday assuring fans that his current stand-up tour will go on despite widespread protests. “I have thousands of loyal, patient and courageous fans who are going to leave their homes to enjoy an evening of laughter and return home feeling wonderful.” He concluded the statement with a references to his long-running ’70s cartoon Fat Albert and his 2013 Comedy central special, writing, “Hey, hey, hey – I’m far from finished.” The statement has outraged many, as the 77-year-old Cosby yet again appears to be portraying himself as the victim of a vast conspiracy. At this point, more than two dozen women have come forward with claims that they’ve been sexually assaulted by Cosby. At first, the comedian remained silent on the issue, but he may soon be forced to defend himself, as Goins’ allegations may lead to a trial. Most of the accusers say they were assaulted several decades ago, which means that Cosby is protected by statutes of limitations. Goins claims Cosby drugged her and licked her toes six years ago, a claim his camp will fight tooth and nail, but which could give Chloe legal standing. Remember those four Vanderbilt football players who were dismissed from the team year before last for forcing sex on a female student ? Two of the accused are currently on trial and the details of the alleged incident continue to horrify us… According to NY Daily News reports : Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey are each charged with five counts of aggravated rape and two counts of aggravated sexual battery. Vandenburg also faces additional charges of tampering with evidence and unlawful photography. Four former players are accused of raping the unconscious female neuroscience student in June 2013, but two will testify in the case. Both defense attorneys warned jurors about the two other former players who are charged in the case: Brandon Banks and Jaborian “Tip” McKenzie are expected to testify against Vandenburg and Batey. Video appears to show Vandenburg carrying the victim from a car outside the building into the dorm, according to testimony from Vanderbilt University Police Lt. Donnie Harville. Players were apparently seen on video dragging the unconscious woman down the hall. They giggled, shot video and sent text messages while they sexually abused her in an assault that began in a hallway, the prosecutor alleged. Thurman described in explicit detail how one former player assaulted her with a water bottle while a teammate egged him on. The prosecutor said one of the players passed out condoms and assaulted her. And one of the former players urinated on her and made a racial statement, Thurman alleged. Three of the ex-players are black and one is white. The victim is white. Disgusting… Talk about adding insult to injury. The poor woman was raped AND urinated on! Batey and Vandenburg are blaming the school’s “culture of binge drinking and promiscuity” for their role in the incident. None of the accused were of legal drinking age at the time. “I think the proof will be very clear at the end of the trial that alcohol played a role in what happened in that dorm room,” Worrick Robinson, an attorney who represents Batey, told jurors. He said Batey was so drunk that he blacked out that night. Robinson also told jurors that there is no evidence of Batey’s DNA in the dorm room and no evidence of his fingerprints on a condom box. Some way…free Breezy Bobby, ho… Bobby Shmurda Jailed During NYPD Drug & Gun Sting Looks like Bobby is Shmoney dancing to the jailhouse tonight. He was popped by police on December 17th due to his alleged involvement in shootings and drug trafficking was discovered after an NYPD investigation. Via PageSix : An up-and-coming rapper is among several people arrested in an investigation into a series of gang-related shootings and drug trafficking in New York City. Authorities said Wednesday that Ackquille Pollard was taken into custody shortly after he left a recording studio near Radio City Music Hall in midtown Manhattan. He performs under the name Bobby Shmurda. A spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office says the 20-year-old Pollard is among a group of defendants named in an indictment that will be unsealed after their arraignments Thursday. The Brooklyn-born Pollard is best known for the hit song “Hot Boy” and for a music video that popularized a dance move called the “Shmoney dance.” The name of Pollard’s attorney wasn’t immediately available. Hopefully he hasn’t been really living his lyrics and can go free sometime soon!

Woman Jailed For Helping Man Tattoo Smiley Face, Derogatory Word on 12-Year-Old Girl

A Pennsylvania woman has been sentenced to jail time for helping the man she lived with tattoo a smiley face and a derogatory word on a 12-year-old girl. The Meadville Tribune reports that 30-year-old Melissa Becker, of Centerville, Pa., was sentenced on Tuesday of this week by a Crawford County judge. She will serve four months to two years behind bars. The girl told police that Charlton tattooed the smiley face and a vulgar term for a woman on her left forearm when she spent the night at their residence. It is not clear why the 12-year-old stayed with them. Officials say Becker’s sentence will also require two years’ probation for what she and 33-year-old Randall Charlton III have pleaded guilty to. The two were convicted of corruption of a minor and tattooing a minor for the incident on May 14. Charlton has yet to be sentenced for his role. Becker also pleaded guilty to a third criminal charge, endangering the welfare of a child, a first-degree misdemeanor, the prosecutor’s office said. County prosecutors say Charlton and Becker didn’t contact the girl’s mother for permission to be tattooed, which is against the law in Pennsylvania.
